Lovely location And very good wines. Easy to spend a day here, for sure. Enjoy the views, take a walk. Pleasant.

After an afternoon of in-town wineries, we were looking for an actual vineyard to visit for the following morning… enter Lincourt Vineyards Happy to find they were open New Year’s Day, there was 1 shuttle already there when we pulled up. We were led to a separate side room, away from the already rowdy bunch & treated to a lovely tasting The staff was so friendly & happy to discuss the similarities, differences & nuances between Napa Valley regions vs Santa Barbara regions. Have to say we were fans of just about everything we tried & ended up walking out with a huge box full of deliciousness Lovely yard with tables, comfy chairs & peaceful scenery… we could see this a wonderful place to enjoy a lazy, sunny afternoon

What a disappointment, we did not get an explanation of each wine, our server was completely distracted and dismissive.

Fabulous in every way. Small, no corporate feel. The staff are extremely knowledgeable about their wine and willing to take the time to share their knowledge beyond the normal patter. Great experience.

Lincourt is a great stop when you are visiting Santa Ynez! The vineyard is beautiful and feels like you on a cute little farm. There is a small tasting room, which is a beautiful Sears Craftsman house, set up on the hill that has great views from the porch. The staff is always very friendly and knowledgable. It is part of the Foley group, and the member benefits are great! I really enjoy their Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir Grab a bottle and enjoy it under the covered patio or on the lawn!

We had our wedding at Lincourt on 10÷23÷2015… And, we really can’t say enough good things about our experience having our wedding ceremony and reception at Lincourt Vineyards. The setting is absolutely beautiful, looking out over the vineyards, the sloping lawn is a perfect setting for a ceremony. A very short walk from there is a large covered verandah where our guests enjoyed wine and hor dourves and lively conversation for cocktail hour. Dinner was served on a lawn just beside the verandah and the cake was cut in the beautiful ‘Barrel Room’ nearby. After dinner we all danced the night away under the beautiful strung lights. The staff at Lincourt was professional, accommodating, and helped make our wedding spectacular. We highly recommend the winery for a wedding or any special occasion. Oh, and the wine is delicious! :) The venue is well worth the expense.

Beautiful grounds, excellent pourer(friendly, informative). Wines(whites) were good, not too pricey. Spacious patio area overlooking vineyard if you want to sit and relax. They offered cheese and charcuterie plate. We brought in 6 month old baby, they didn’t mind. Others brought in well-behaved dogs, no problems. Associated with group of 14 other vineyards spread out on west coast.

Sigh. I don’t have much to say, certainly not enough for a review worth reading. But no review might imply that I didn’t go there. But I did. As part of the Grapeline tour. And, I remember passing people setting up chairs on a lawn for a wedding, which I thought would be a «Swedding» because it was so hot. I guess the yellow Craftsman house was quaint, but I didn’t find the wines memorable in our cramped part of the room, and it just wasn’t my favorite of the six or so vineyards I have visited thus far.(Side note: their rose is my wife’s favorite in the whole valley)

I’ve reviewed this Vineyard before. I think Mariah R said it best, so I’ll just paraphrase her comment«Lincourt is(our) favorite winery in the Santa Ynez region». 6 years ago my wife and I stumbled into Foley by accident and they sent us to Lincourt for a a free tasting. Fell in love with the Pinot Noir and got hooked on the Buttery Oak Barrel Chardonnay. Bought a couple;e of bottles of each. 3 years ago, on the way back from Paso. with a Pilot full of wine, we decided to have a Tri Tip lunch in Los Olivos and, just for chuckles, go back over to Lincourt, vowing to taste only — no more wine — we left with a case of the 2009 Carol Ann Chardonnay. 2 days ago. at the end of a three day visit to the Valley, we did much of the same thing. With a cooler full of Kenneth Volk, Andrew Murray, Foxen, Foley, Evans Ranch, and vowing not to buy any more wine we again left with a case: 6 bottles of the 2011 Foula Nunn Chardonnay, which is so Buttery, it says«Butter» when you say«Parkay» and says«Caramel» when you say«Fleur de Sel» and 6 bottles of the 100% Steel 2011 Chardonnay which has a full floral pear and apple nose and a slightly creamy finish that belies, nay, DEFIES the steel. We opened one today — it still amazes. Our server, I forget his name, damn me, gave us 15% off. They’re ready to deal. The room is clean, has been enlarged, and suffers a stunning view of the front yard and Ballard canyon. No hard sell on the Wine Club. The wine sells itself. That’s how it’s done. As Gary the Bartender at the Hitching Post told Miles«They’ve got some great STUFF». The next time we’re tasting there first — er, no I’ll need a truck by the time we’re done. Lincourt is our favorite winery in the Santa Ynez Region.

This was the best of the foley group we’ve visited. Small and focussed. We joined their club. They have a tasting room that is a converted Sears kit house. They have small productions with depth and complex flavored.

Lincourt was a fun place with a beautiful setting and delicious wines! Came here for a bachelorette party and Patrick did an excellent job helping, wining and entertaining all of us. My only complaint is that after we were ¾ way through our tasting, we were informed our cost was going to double due to a large group unless 2 people signed up to be members. Wasn’t very nice to spring this on us at the end and after all of us ladies were feeling *pretty good* — so ask before you start your tasting about the cost.

Spent an awesome Saturday driving through the town of Solvang. We stopped by the Lincourt Winery just outside of the Scandinavian village. It had been a long time since I’ve been out here and it was just as amazing as I remembered it. This however was the first time I had visited this particular winery. All the wines we tried were fantastic. The staff was great and the patrons were friendly. The overcast weather provided a near perfect atmosphere. There were friends, wine, cheese and more wine. What else do you need?

We loved Lincourt, the tasting room is the original Sears & Roebuck craftsman house that people would buy and have all the parts shipped to them and put it together, The wines in this price category are outstanding! and very nice staff in the tasting room.

Lincourt is my favorite winery in the Santa Ynez region. The tasting room is a quaint farm-style house, with a really nice patio– great on a warm day. The wines are amazing– if you get a chance to try the two sisters Pinot Noir, DOIT! They make amazing pinots, some delicious cabs and syrahs too. Honestly I like most of what they make. I’m not a white wine fan, but if you’re a Chardonnay fan, this is a go to as well. Insider tip– they serve some of the same wines at they Foley winery in buellton, come here instead. The price points are better and the pours more generous. The wine pourers here are awesome. Very friendly and generous. Always nice conversation and more than willing to tell you all you want to know about wine. Definitely worth the stop!

I wasn’t very impressed with this place other than taking photos with a great background. The wines were average and the service could have been better. It was tiny inside the actual tasting area, packed, humid, and had a bad odor. There were no paper towels in the bathroom which surprised me because it was clear they were preparing for a big event that evening. If I went back I would buy a bottle and drink it outside on the white cottage style porch and walk around and take photos overlooking the vineyard. The windmill was cool! I’m always intrigued by souvineers at wineries too and usually in the mood to purchase something. There were a lot of old school fleece items from the early 90’s for sale. Nothing worth taking home.

A gorgeous vineyard and knowledgeable hostess. Cute little shop with other food and snacks for you to try — beef jerky, homemade jam, etc. Bathrooms clean and accessible. Only complaint is that the prices for wine tasting are not prominently displayed.

Our decision to stop at Lincourt was initially just to enjoy some pizza and music during their Pizza Unplugged event on Sundays. Boy was I surprised! The vineyard was absolutely beautiful. We just kind of walked around for awhile to take it all in before ordering our pizza. Then we had to decide on a pitcher of sangria or a wine tasting. The sangria looked so refreshing, but since we had already been to quite a few wineries already, a whole pitcher seemed like too much, so instead we split a tasting. Wow! The wines were great. Our server was totally laid back. He gave us some background info on the winery and each tasting and even poured several off the menu wines for us. Then we learned about the Foley club. As a member you receive membership prices and free tastings at several wineries, including nearby Firestone and Foley. There’s was absolutely no pressure to join. We just really liked their wines. Ended up joining and taking several bottles home that day at 30% off plus got the tasting for free. The Sauvignon Blanc was excellent. I usually like my Chards oaked, but I was pleasantly surprised by the Steel Chardonnay. Lindsay’s Pinot Noir is also a great choice. I like that their wines had just the right amount of acidity and the tannins were not overwhelming. This is definitely a must stop. Be sure to check their website for events. The pizza and the music made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

Pretty wines. Bright flavors, low acid, supple textures, nice aromas, enjoyable mouth feel. Small tasting room that I only had to share with four other noisy women. Was relieved when they left, and the air returned to the room. I’d guess that the room would be unbearable on a busy week-end. Our server was jovial, gregarious, informative, and had a good sense of humor. Part of the Foley winery /resort portfolio. So join the wine club here and get free wine tasting privileges at the others Foley wineries, too.

–3.5 Star Review– LIncourt Vineyards is one of Foley’s properties, which makes it free for those that are members of any Foley’s wineries. If you’re not a member, tasting cost $ 10 for 6 pours. Tip: always ask if there’s any additional bottles that are off the menu that is available for tasting. You’ll never know what you get! Plus, Lincourt opens till 5pm. The name, Lincourt, comes from Foley’s daughters, Lindsay and Courtney. Lucky ladies! The best part about this winery is the charm of it. The property feels like ‘Little Farm on a Prairie’ and they have an array of wines depending on the season. Lincourt ranges from Rose, Chardonnay, Syrah, and Pinot Noir. A lot of folks seem to favor the Pinot. Since none of the wines fit my palate, my rating goes to 3.5 stars, but I still love their property. They usually have 3 stations for tasting; favorite station goes to the patio. It’s a great location to bring lunch and having the tasting at the same time. You can feel at ease at Lincourt and enjoy the day with light breeze and well-balanced wine. Go now!
