The property is absolutely breathtaking! The owners: The owners are generous and lovely people. There was a minor setback during my wedding reception. The owners generously offered to rescue the day. If it wasn’t for their kindness, my wedding guests would have been eating dinner in the rain. I am forever thankful. The owners are wine club members. They offered us private wine tastings, and surely enough, we became club members. The wines are very good. Jerry and Liz did the hard work of finding the terrific wine makers and we were able to relax and enjoy the fruits of their labor. As club members, our third night in the cabana was free; a perk we surely appreciated! The Cabana: Larger than I had expected. The bed is perfectly cozy. The bathroom is modern with classic Italian touches. There are two cabanas on the property, one on each side of the pool. This worked out perfectly because my sister rented the smaller cabana. Having morning coffee with my family surrounded by a magnificent vineyard backdrop seemed like a dream. The living room opens into the beautiful grounds. One of the double doors leads to the pool and the other double doors lead to an outdoor seating area with an adjacent fire pit. The double doors create an illusion of an extended living space, uniting the cabana with the beautiful vineyard. My husband discovered that we could watch television while sitting in the outdoor seating area. This was a true treat for him, he could enjoy the beautiful grounds without missing Sunday night football. The Amenities: The kitchen has a full fridge which was really nice, especially because I had quite a bit of wedding cake leftover. There is a large country style sink which adds a classic feel to the living area. There is a dishwasher, microwave and ice maker; all of which came in handy during our stay. My family and I took advantage of the grill and bar area as well. The men did a little grilling while the gals relaxed by the fire pit with our glasses of wine. The weather was a too cold for swimming, but we can’t wait to come back in the summer to take advantage of the pool as well. The Grounds: Absolutely breathtaking. I woke up to a crisp clean morning after a night of rain; brewed a cup of aromatic coffee and took a walk amongst the beautiful vines. The rose bushes were blooming with fragrant flowers. Basil blossomed from the herb planters and the birds were chirping near the beautiful trees. I can hear the distant pitter patter of horses in the adjacent property. My wedding morning seemed like a dream. The grounds are gorgeous. The Surrounding Area: Santa Ynez houses several terrific vineyards which also have beautiful tasting rooms and picnic areas. Several of these vineyards are within a five minute drive of the property. The quaint town of Solvang is about a ten minute drive. Solvang has many terrific wine tasting rooms, bake shops with amazing pastries, and plenty of sight-seeing possibilities. The road leading up to the property is picturesque, so don’t miss out on the photo opportunities. I consider myself lucky for discovering such a gem. If you are reading this review, I encourage you to come and stay amongst the vines in this Italian casa. And don’t forget to become wine club members! My family and I can’t wait to come back!

This wedding venue was awesome. Liz and Jerry, the owners, are the best. My sister just got married over the weekend. We rented both small cottages, that are part of the property, for 3 nights. We are both wine members so we got the third night free. Unfortunately, it rained on her wedding day, and all the tables were already set up so everything was soaking wet. Liz helped us dry the table cloths and cleaned up her garage so we could have the reception in there. It rained on and off all day so we had to carry the tables and chairs in and out of the garage about 3 times. We were determined to have a beautiful outdoor wedding because it’s a gorgeous venue. In the end, it all worked out. Liz and Jerry were incredibly accommodating. They make you feel like family. The location is beautiful with fire pits, pool, jacuzzi, and grill, all for your enjoyment. Will be back!!!

This was absolutely lovely. It’s important to note that this is not a vineyard(though they do grow grapes, which they subsequently sell), but a private wine club. They sample the wines that they include in their monthly club. If that was going to stop you, don’t let it! They only do private wine tasting, so you get a lot of personal attention, and you can ask a lot of questions. The owner was clearly incredibly knowledgable, and spent nearly 45 minutes answering our questions. I assume staying here would also be lovely, but we just came for the day. Do keep in mind that, because it’s private, you have to make reservations in advance, and they told us they normally don’t accept people after 2 – 3PM(because they don’t want to do their thing for super drunk people). We ended up buying several bottles of wine, we loved it!

We stayed here, and rented the casa from VRBO. Absolutely perfect. Relaxing, very comfortable, etc.

We coordinated a wedding here last year and I was super impressed with the vineyard owners’ dedication to the grounds and the gorgeousness of the setting in general. They said that they rent out the two cottages on the property, which I have always wanted to go back and do(they have a beautiful pool area and bocce ball court with a great view of the vineyards, complete with an outdoor fireplace)!

Sogno del Fiore was HANDSDOWN the best vineyard we visited on our wine tour. The wine we sampled there was of the highest quality… The owners of this vineyard were informative and hospitable… Not to mention, the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. I joined the wine club and can’t wait to go back!

In a recent wine tasting trip at Santa Ynez valley, we visited four places. Sogno del Fiore is the best among four. This is a private wine club, not pretentious and down to the earth. The owner Jerry is a retired executive of health business. He personally hosted our tasting session. The setting of the tasking session was also very unique: we sat around an out-door kitchen, surrounded by the lovely bungalows, sparkling swim pool and the vineyard. It was serene and peaceful. Sogno del Fiore hosts small and medium wine producers. The production of the five wines we tasted was all below 250 cases: 1 white and 4 red. Although Santa Ynez is famous for its Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, I can’t make myself love Chardonnay. I really liked the Pinot Noir La Fenêtre. It has a balanced PH, a mixture of fruits, and a body that fits to my taste. After the tasting, Jerry showed us his vineyard, and explained some art of grape growing. It was really pleasant to listen to someone who was passionate for his business. It’s very different than the other wine tasting. It was unanimous among us that Sogno del Fiore was the best.
