Carl’s Jr Restaurants

Good food and service. All of our food was served hot and tasted fresh. The burrito steak was tender and flavorful, and I love the sauce on the western bacon cheeseburger. The chicken strips were moist and plump, and although clearly not ‘all natural’ they tasted fresh and the breading was nicely crispy. A win overall on fast food!

This is standard fast food so it is equal to any other Carl’s and on a par with other fast food burger joints. No review necessary
The high points of this Carl’s is the staff is always seems to be helpful and friendly. I’ve dropped by this restaurant about once a month for the past 4 or 5 years. Dining experience is more than just the food, even a fast food experience. SO

This Carl’s Jr was nice and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It is a Carl’s Jr Green burrito mix so we got food from both… The criss cut fries were cooked perfectly and tasted great on their ranch. Our burgers were good, famous stars with no meat. The quesadillas though were a joke. Such a rip off! Like 5 bucks for a dinky little thing that looked like it should have been part of a kids meal. Lame, would never order that piece of crap again. Other than that everything tasted good, and our food came out very quickly. Everything was ad we ordered it, sauces, napkins and utensils and all which is much appreciated when you take your food to go. We would come back to this location again, but wouldn’t order the cheese quesadillas from Green burrito.

O know it’s fast food and I don’t eat it often but come on. Onion rings are not edible they are hard as a rock and taste like old grease I used to think Carls junior was one of the better fast food places to eat but not anymore this is the second time something fried tasted terrible. And the people that work here are fighting for more money per hour do a better job serve better food and maybe your rent would be justified I will never waste money at this location again

I’m used to eating the fast food near campus like Jack in the Box and Taco Bell. When I came to this Carl’s Junior, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The burger was huge, juicy and delicious while the fries were hot and crispy. This is the first time I’ve given five stars to a fast-​food place and they earned all of them.

Food was great, fast, and the lady brought the food to my friend and I. I love how you get what you pay for, with big ol’ burgers unlike mcdonalds. Shortly later the manager comes and asks if we needed anything else, I think that’s great. 5 stars for good, big, burgers and friendly employees.

I normally only rate places with up to four stars unless they have something outstanding. Today Alexander K was outstanding. He was prompt even though he was cleaning the dining area when i walked in and polite with me even when bringing out my food.
What stood out even more was watching him serve others. He made a nice welcome and the obligatory «would you like to try…» intro. I then watched him help other people since there is no television.
He helped an undecided customer narrow down what he wanted with obvious product knowledge then when he brought their tray he even went back to get them a cup of water they requested. He was patient and accommodating.
He later took my tray in a polite fashion without making me feel rushed. I know a lot of this is what is expected because I have frequented this location even before Mario got this one. I hope Mario enjoys retirement. If this is going to be the quality of service I welcome Hector. I just hope he watches the night crew after my last night visit. I will update if needed.

The food was super fresh and tasty and I can honestly say this is the best customer service I have ever seen and/​or experienced in a Carl’s Jr. The restaurant was extremely clean and the employees actually seemed to care about their customers’ dining experiences. A+.

What to say about Carl’s Jr. … Good grub, I appreciate the Low-​Carb option (agreed with Kang T. — I was gettin’ real tired of having to drive out to AG for a burger fix, though I have to say In N’ Out is still considerably better).
The service here ignored us when we first came in, but the manger really saved the day and kicked it up a notch by welcoming us to partake in the «beverage bar» when I ordered a coke. :-D Haha I loved it. This location was incredibly clean.
Very messy burgers, but that’s the name of their game. Whenever I go out of town, my boyfriend subsists almost entirely on Western Bacon Cheeseburgers, so thank you for keeping him alive in my absence.
Great coupons are occasionally in the weekly junk mail. Keep your eyes peeled.

Decent place for fast food near the airport. Service is pretty quick, and place is easy to get to. Lots of seating. I am not particularly fond of an aftertaste in fried products: French Fries, and Chicken strips. Like their Low Carb burgers, so I won’t have to make a run down to In-​N-​Out in Arroyo Grande.

No drive thru as expected in San Luis Obispo.
There aren’t many quick food options in this area besides Taco Bell/​Green Burrito so it gets a 3-​star for convenience.

I would have to say Carls may be the best fast food in SLO their constant release of coupons is a great saver. The burgers are very good and they have great commercials always. This certain Carls is always clean and they are quite quick. One time I went they had a line to the door and the line was gone under 5 min. A complaint I would have is they should be sure to have cashiers that speak English good. They got my order wrong simply because she could not understand me, repeating what I was saying wrong 3 times. So I would have to say the customer service lacks for sure. The new turkey burgers are good don’t know if they will last though. Of course SLO doesnt have drive thrus and pretends to hate fast food. (I mentioned earlier the line to the door). Our mayor Jan Marx said it helps keep people healthy, maybe so but I sure do miss them. No one has even reviewed this Carls, well I am here to say I like you Carls and I visit you often.
