Silverdale having such a big Naval influence this Chinese buffet is Military discount friendly, but only during dinner time. Before I walked in this establishment I read on the previous review the thing I noticed was the following words«this place is hit or miss.» Apparently I walked in here on their good days. The food are fresh and delicious! I had chow mein, mushroom chicken and dumpling. Yummmy! I’ll be back, but hope on a «hit» day. Thank you King’s Wok Buffet!

After they remodeled the quality was great, but recently the quality has declined. Still the best buffet place around and a good deal.

Even after a remodel and a price increase, the food is still not much better. The bathrooms look like they are in a state of constant construction, the ice cream might be good, but my daughter didn’t want to get any because when you ring the bell, the person who comes to help looks irritated and hurried. I got a steak and asked that it not be seasoned and it was seasoned twice. The best thing there was the icee machine. Not worth $ 17.50

I used to really like eating here and then I had to go to the bathroom one day… I no longer like eating here. They also remodeled and so I thought perhaps it had gotten better. Wrong! Same exact food was there with a new sushi bar and the same dirty bathroom. After I ate there for the very last time I went home and felt icky the rest of the night from super greasy food. I haven’t been back since and I don’t have any plans to return

This buffet is not good. Food not flavorful and most of the food wasn’t even labeled. Very disappointed! Yuck

King’s Wok is your standard Chinese buffet. The selection is decent, but the dishes are a hit or miss. Some of the food like the pizza and the gyoza tasted like it was sitting in a too hot pan for too long. They were hard on the bottom and soft on top. The sushi selection was also decent, but the sushi with avocado on the top were questionable since they were starting to brown. The desserts were underwhelming, the eclairs and cream puffs also tasted like they were sitting there awhile. Greatly disappointing me because I love cream puffs! The only standouts: the Mongolian Grill and the mini ice cream stand. My relatives were all over the Mongolian Grill and had nothing but good things to say about their dishes. As for the ice cream, although their soft serve machine was out of order, there was always somebody waiting nearby their other ice cream display to give you a scoop. Other than that, nothing too outstanding to brag about in this buffet. It’s just average.

My daughter wanted: 1. Crab 2. Sushi 3. Rice Thanks to Unilocal,we were directed to King’s Wok! I mean, it is what it is. We ate our weight in crab legs, the sushi was just okay. The rice was just sticky enough. I really liked the mongolian grill station, the grilled steak was pretty delicious considering where it’s coming from.

A little tight fit for dining area, but wow! The food is amazing. $ 35 for two people… Well worth it! Lots of variety.

It’s your typical Asian buffet. Nothing gross, nothing spectacular — pretty good all around. If you want to really get your money’s worth, I’d say stick with the Mongolian stir — fry section. It’s not too greasy and you can see the food cooked right there.

High volume, high fat, food. Go here if you only care about volume over taste. Place seemed kind of dirty to me as well.

I’ve been visiting King’s Wok Buffet off and on since 2003 usually while visiting family on this side of Puget Sound. Buffet in the Bremerton area back in the mid to late 1970s usually meant heading over to Perry Avenue Mall. Buffet in pastry/culinary school usually meant time to creatively make use of items in the walk-in. Non-sequiturs about buffets, so onward… My most recent visit was back on 5÷3÷15 to celebrate early the kiddo’s birthday and Mother’s Day with relatives. Clearly they are doing well as I noticed the expansion and rearrangement of food stations. One can sample a little bit of this and that and have the ability to go back for more if it’s to your liking. The food selections turn over fairly quickly so it’s fresher than most or at some stations it’s made to order(ie. Mongolian Grill style). Cuisine ranges from Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Korean, and familiar kid friendly items like pizza. There’s also the usual buffet fare: salads, soups, apps(izakaya, dim sum, sushi), main entrees, fish/seafood, desserts, and beverages. Some stuff were overdressed(surimi salad), greasy fried rice, mushy steamed rice, and some dumpling items were on the steam table maybe a tad too long. The dessert items were a bit dry, just stick with ice cream. Whatever — it’s a basic buffet, not an overly memorable culinary adventure! For five of us, including three senior citizens, basic cost breakdown for food, beverage and dessert, including tax and tip was under $ 21 per person. Takeout is available and is charged by weight. Everyone can find something to eat and you don’t have to do the dishes! I’ve never left hungry or suffered any buffet food poisoning during these several visits for over a decade. It’s been around for awhile and has built a solid community customer base.

Meh… It’s on par with every other Chinese buffet I’ve visited. The selection of food is probably a little better than average, but the quality is… meh. Why is it so hard NOT to over cook crab legs? Why is it so hard to devein the shrimp? I know, none of the other buffets do, but if you did you’d be a cut above. Jussayin’ Still, I come here because it’s decent enough to pass for the price.

I’m addicted to this place. I’m a big guy with a big appetite. I never leave disappointed. …or hungry. I miss the scallops in the Mongolian grill, but there’s enough good stuff to make up for that. I bring my family here at least once a week. If you like shrimp, this is the place.

Love this place. What difference a few years can make. I was station here in 08 and this place sucked. Now it’s a nice buffet for Silverdale the grill is a must have.

Heck yeah I’m giving this place 5 stars! I’m giving King’s Wok 5 stars because yep, it’s as good as it gets around here! It’s an Asian Buffet for heaven’s sakes, it’s not trying to be a gourmet restaurant. The goal of a buffet restaurant is to serve the freshest food possible with a wide variety to choose from that appeals to all tastes. They by far succeed at those goals. Even after reading the reviews, it’s evident everybody agrees but it seems they’re afraid to give the whole five stars — not me! We just celebrated my 50th birthday at King’s Wok and there were 11 of us. We got to sit at the huge table in the back that spins and has«thrones» for chairs. I so wish I would have gotten a picture! I highly recommend this place for large parties! Not only are they able to accommodate super large parties but the price is phenomenal! Only $ 143 for as much food, drinks and desserts as all 11 of us could eat! Wow! We’ve eaten here more times than I can count and the food is always the same — Asian buffet! Talk about consistent! Most of the times we’ve been there they keep everything full but sometimes something is empty. Just ask and they’ll fill it up right away. Also, if it doesn’t look fresh enough for you, ask them to bring out fresh and they will. The selection is great with a wide variety of seafood, meat and chicken items. They even have pizza and fried chicken! It’s not always the same items either, usually there are a few«new» items to try out. Alright all you sushi snobs out there, yes, it’s what we call«baby» sushi! It’s not the stuff you get at a sushi restaurant but it definitely satisfies my craving if I’m having one. It’s very basic sushi and nigiri but it’s also fresh. The greatest thing about it is that you can introduce ANYBODY to sushi and chances are they’ll like it. And if they don’t, you haven’t spent $ 8-$ 10 on something nobody wants! It’s all included in the low price of the buffet so sample away and just enjoy the fact that the Asian buffet has sushi at all! The Mongolian Grill addition was genius! My husband is now eager to go to King’s Wok when I suggest it because he can even get a steak to order if he wants. No, it’s not a steak house steak sillies, it’s an Asian buffet steak! They do a darned good job though and if you want a little steak with your baby sushi and crab legs and crab rangoon and orange chicken and broccoli beef and egg drop soup and blue slushie and cookies and cream ice cream then by golly, King’s Wok is the place to go! Don’t forget to check out the throne table way in the back — you’ll be impressed!

My bf used to be in the navy and lived in Silverdale, so when we did long distance I used to visit him there and stayed for days or weeks at a time. As an Asian girl who grew up in a very Asian community, these stays in Silverdale were annoying when it comes to food. AN-NOY-ING. Asian food seems to be slim pickins in this area. But King’s Wok made it less annoying. I liked it. The food is decent and there is never a wait. They have your typical Asian food like hot and sour soup, steamed/fried dumplings, fried shrimps, fish, orange chicken, bbq beef ribs, and more. Some things are better than others. I wouldn’t touch the sushi bar though, cos I’m a food snob and just… I’m from LA. It’s honestly a very refreshing change from eating at fast food restaurants or Silver City Brewery all the time(even though I liked Silver City). Also, they have bottles of Sriracha for you to use!!! Thank heavens.
