Big E Pizza

Man, I’ve always loved this place and have been ordering for years but after last night’s food poisoning I’m going to have to put a end to it. Either that or stick with the subs. Chicken Wings were grey but for some reason i continued to eat them. I’m not sure why i ordered them in the 1^st place cus theyre never good. Paying for it now.

The food is alright but the prices are incorrect on Unilocal.They charge a delivery charge even though I live literally three blocks from them. Then to get more money from you they charge you for using a card. The girl on the phone is rude and rush you off the phone. I was at a stop light next to one of their delivery driver that drove a honda accord and he litter out the window. How disgusting throwing his trash out and dirtying our beautiful city. Seeing this made me not want to order from here again. I will not be returning.

Wow everything was so good!!! Super fresh, hot, and great quality ingredients. Employees were super nice and we ended up dining inside because it had nice atmosphere with cool Italian décor. And they are open late! We will definitely be back!

Favorite pizza since we moved into SH. Nice place to sit and have a slice of pie but even better when they deliver… super fast… pizza is hot.

This is the best pizza I’ve ever had! Although they could definitely work on their customer service… I’m giving it only 3 stars because they’ve messed up on my order twice and the customer service is mediocre.

Great pizza!!! Call for delivery and they are on it, the white or just a regular pizza are amazing and I always order a lg salad. Super fresh and delish! I refer all my local friends to them

Great pizza at a low price. Especially ask for their special deal (carry-​out, ect).
Cheese and the dough taste like homemade, not commerically made like some places.
Please check out their canadian ham topping, will blow you away.
I only wish there was a location closer to me.

Veggie Pizza is delicious and they delivered pretty quick

Had this bookmarked for some time and wanted to give it a shot.
Called in a delivery order and was quoted 45 mins. 2 hours later, no delivery. Called and canceled. Never again.

I’ve ordered here 2 or 3 times now. Pizza is always nice and cheesy, they don’t skimp on toppings. Wings are pretty dang good, they even give you the sauce so you can add to your liking. Delivery is always prompt, and very friendly service! Thanks Big E

Most of the time I order the pizza from home. Delivery time is accurate and the pizza always tastes great! Good taste and flavor. They are not stingy with the toppings and cheese.
It’s a little pricey but you do get what you paid for. Definitely recommend to all of long beach. The restaurant itself is a lot bigger and better.
Will definitely keep on ordering from Big E!

Yummy I love big E’s pizza. Usually we order here for lunch time at my job & have fast and friendly delivery.
We order the deluxe and meat lovers and they are both delicious. Not skimpy on the cheese or the toppings. Reasonable prices too.

The first time I had Big E Pizza was after a night of bar hopping and it tasted amazing. Then again, everything taste amazing after a night of bar hopping.
I decided to try Big E again, sober. I had pizza, garlic cheese bread, and BBQ flavored wings delivered.
The pizza was mehh. It lacked flavor and parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes didn’t help at all. The garlic cheese bread was a huge disappointment. It was literally a sandwich bun with cheese and garlic sauce in between. How this even made it onto the menu, idk.
The only thing worth eating were the wings. Their BBQ sauce is pretty good. It has a little kick to it which I liked. That’s why I’m giving them a few stars. I don’t think I’ll order from here again unless I have a late night craving since they’re open pretty late.

But I really wanted chicken, so I went with a simple chicken parm. It wasn’t good at all.
I’m not sure if it’s a Cali thing but the chicken was not breaded but grilled.
Luckily I got extra sauce on the side because it was dry
BUT the sauce was more similar to marinara sauce. (And sauce is EVERYTHING to me)
Like I had wished I got mozz sticks then just to enjoy this.
Just not good for a basic sandwich, the bread was soft though.
I thought I was going to find my new fav pizza spot but guess I’ll keep looking.

Once upon a time, a few 22 – 25 year olds drank a little too much and wanted pizza at 2am and this place got the job done.

Try the beef ribs once, you’ll do it again and again. Try crumbled bacon on your next pie. Again, you’ll wonder why you weren’t doing this all along.
I always forget, the big E, has full service dine in. Pretty decent ambiance. Wouldn’t take much to take it to the next level. Ample parking a plus.

OVERALL: +3 for the fast food service. –2 for dining near close and having to leave.
Coming here to get a pizza and salad after hanging out at Blind Donkey, around 1am near close. We made it at 1230 to order a cheese pizza and chef’s salad. Though the food was good, we were not able to eat more than 2 slices when being informed they were now closed… at 12:55am. We got the idea and left as soon as one of the employees started stacking chairs nosily and sweeping around us. Better to come here tipsy or drunk, and maybe during the day, but not near closing time.

I had a double date with DTLB and we ended our night here at Big E’s, which was our cousins’ old school date spot before they got married (how sweet!) We ordered a BBQ pizza to share, which was pretty good. I was full before getting there, but the pizza smelled so good I made sure to make room… and I don’t regret it!
The restaurant is pretty cool… there is the ordering area when you walk in but there’s a nice restaurant area in the back. They are open late (until 3 AM I believe) which is great for those late night munchies.

Bread + Sauce + Meat + Cheese (lots of cheese) = GUILT. This is the emotion I feel when I place an order by phone or through the Unilocal App. Yet, somehow I like the punishment. Big E offers pizza, sandwiches, pastas, and salads. All the fixins’ when it comes to Italian Family Style dining.
My favorite pizza toppings are meat — on top of meat — on top of meat. I love that they offer REAL bacon and their vegetables are chopped into small/​medium pieces. Don’t get me wrong, I love veggies but they can’t be overpowering when it comes to pizza. Meat is always the STAR of the Show!
Now regarding the pastas, I have only ordered their Lasagna (regular/​Louie style) and Spaghetti (sauce/​mushrooms). My eating parter is a fan of the Louie style (sausages added) and I like to keep it simple. The mushrooms on the spaghetti dish was overwhelming; I had more shrooms than cheese and sauce (not a fan). Nevertheless, the pasta entrées are quite big so there may be leftovers. Italian dishes are nothing without garlic bread and a salad, luckily, these items are included. The salad is your typical lettuce mix with tomatoes, cheese, and your choice of dressing.
So, if you are tired of the commercialized pizza chains and want to try something new then call Big E Pizza. They stay open late if you are searching for a midnight snack.
Side Note: They give you paper plates, pepper flakes, and parmesan cheese with your pizza order.

Was staying in the area and after a hot day outside I wasn’t going to leave my hotel room. The room had two choices, city something pizza or that game pizza, looked at their reviews and they didn’t look promising at all.
So I found this place on Unilocal and read a few reviews and went for it.
Ordered a full order of hot wings and a pepperoni and jalapeño large pizza. The hot wings were meaty and it came with two dipping sauces, buffalo sauce and ranch.
The pizza had real cheese, pepperoni was plenty and so were the jalapeños. Service to my door was fast, they use the eat24 ordering system and they were a few blocks down.
Great pizza and great service. Now I know another location I can pick up from.
