I just ordered for the first time and the food is amazing! However, my order was incorrect! I ordered a hamburger– no mayo, no onions, I received a dry bacon burger– no thousand island dressing. I tossed some mustard on the buns and enjoyed my late night dinner.

I love the pizza here I think me and my boyfriend seriously ate denos pizza ones every 2 weeks of that because sometimes we would go every weekend the pizza is amazing the cheese is so thick like nothing I have had at any other place I love Denos!

I always feel bad giving low star reviews but I feel that it is my obligation as a fellow Unilocaler.
We ordered from Deno’s Pizza last night (on accident, don’t ask, thinking that it was DiPiazza’s– way better). Anyway, got two orders of baked spaghetti and meat sauce, which came with a small salad and garlic bread.
The spaghetti was not good– we literally had to add Italian seasoning to it in order to eat it. It was overly salty and bland at the same time (how does that happen).
The salad was really good. Fresh, had carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, and delish ranch dressing.
The garlic bread was meh. kind of chewy and over cooked.
The delivery was super fast… like 10 – 15 minutes.
Overall, probably wouldn’t order again. Sorry Deno’s.

So their website says a family special is $ 21.95 and they informed me that they have changed their prices and the website is wrong. I asked if they would honor their advertised price and they said no. So I cancelled my order. I have ordered from there for 3yrs and now they have lost my business for good. You honor your advertised price. That is good customer service.

This place is great! It’s a small spot by 7 – 11 across from my new place and my roommate kept insisting that I try it. So I went for the Philly cheesesteak [very flavorful although slightly pricier than a subway or similar sandwich). The employees are friendly and they have great recommendations (like the meatball sub and cheesy garlic bread!) this place is a must stop if your looking for a quick but rewarding meal!

Wow. I guess haters are gonna hate. I have been ordering delivery a few times a year for the past 4 years or so. Never had a bad meal or problem. Tonight is the first time I even looked at the Unilocal reviews. Tonight I had mostaccioli with meat sauce, sausage and meatball. Now we are not talking gourmet here here but it is respectably good for delivery and the price. Maybe the haters ordered the wrong meals but for me, the pasta has always been good.

My sister decided that they would rather get their kids’s a haircut than spend time with me, so I scheduled a haircut myself and walked outside to find another pizza advertisement outside the house. I was in such a good mood after eating pizza yesterday that I hoped to lift my mood. Today is Halloween and should be a time for family to be together, not in my family. I sat down at the restaurant and ordered. This place has burgers, pasta, and many other comfort foods that I love. Not only that but they deliver. I’ll recommend this to some friends. My wife and I love these kind of small businesses. There are things that money just can’t but but for everything else, there’s pizza.

I used to get Deno’s delivered when I lived in the LBC 4 years ago, this place has CHANGED. I went there and got the Squisito pizza Friday night, TERRIBLE! The crust, which used to be amazing, was awful, worse than Pizza Hut. The antipasto salad was good, but other than not fresh produce, how do you mess up a salad? SO disappointed at how far the pizza has gone downhill.

Hands down the best pizza joint in Long Beach. Their family meal deal special is by far the best deal in town. $ 26.00 gets you a large one topping pizza, a large chef salad, pasta of your choice, garlic bread and a two liter. EXCELLENT deal. The pizza is gooey, the crust is soft and the toppings are fresh. You truly cannot go wrong with Deno’s. Truly delicious and they deliver.

I just ordered the Eggplant Parmigiana and I am very disappointed. It should be listed as spaghetti with eggplant. Every other eggplant parmesan that I have ever ordered or made was like lasagna, layered eggplant, sauce and cheese then baked, some have had a small side of pasta. I didn’t want a ton of pasta for lunch and wasn’t expecting a bit of eggplant in some sauce and cheese with 5lbs of spaghetti. The eggplant and sauce had a nice flavor but I am still hungry after spending over $ 15.00 (with delivery) for lunch. Not what I expected!

Do NOT buy pizza here! I just tried to order an X-​Large pizza with bacon/​mushroom on HALF then Canadian bacon/​pinapple on the other half! Even though they have a special on their X-​Large for 13.95 the retarded girl wanted to charge me $ 23.00!!! WTF?! I tried to have her explain it to me, and she said it was tax! I then asked if she was charging me for each topping on each half 2⁄2 and she said yes! WTF?! Any pizza place KNOWS that 2 topping pizza can be 2 on one side and 2 different ones on the other half! This place is a den of thieves! DO NOT buy pizza here. Hell, I HATE DOMINOS for what the one on 4th/​Redondo did to me, nearly crippling me and making my life hell, but it’s better to buy from them, despite the fact that the owner has a history of employing drivers that are under the age of 21 and drivers that drive altered (smoking weed.)

I like this place for lazy nights. I just call them up and wait for my fairly cheap delivery. I have had many different things here. I suggest you get pizza, wings, and fries. Everything else on the menu is ok at best. This is one of those places that has a salad with a huge slice of tomato and everything else that they can quickly throw into it in order to call it a salad. The other choices are not horrible or expensive but I never ordered anything else twice. Also this place is the same as the place off Broadway. Their menus are identical.

When I lived in Arlington MA I used to order a BLT Sub every Sunday from a place called Olympic and loved them. Well tonight I ordered one from Deno’s and it blew me away. The bread was so soft and filled with bacon which is a big plus. Believe me you will never get a better BLT Sub. Thank you Deno’s.

I received their coupon/​magnet in the mail at work… and was coincidentally feeling like having pasta. I ordered their baked spaghetti in meat sauce, and was overly impressed. It had the right amount of sauce to noodle ratio, and it came with garlic bread and a side salad YUMM!
This past Friday (5÷11÷12) I had yet another hankering for pasta, but after glancing at their menu online… decided to go with the pesto pizza. As another Unilocaler noted… this pizza was AWESOME. I ordered a small, and had ½ for lunch… and popped the other half in my toaster oven for dinner. It was still so very good :) Pesto, feta cheese, artichokes, tomato. *DROOL* So yummy :)
