I love the food. I usually get the cheese enchilada platter and it makes a great dinner. The complimentary chips and salsa are great too. If they don’t give it to you, ask for the salsa verde.

Favorite Mexican place in town. The bar is great for the single business traveler without the pressure you get at Chilis or Applebee’s

I had the fajitas! One word, amazing. The speed of service, the kindness of the server, and the taste of our meals were excellent. This was the second experience here and it will not be the last. The horchata is also delicious! I highly recommend this to anyone looking for authentic Mexican food.

Got my food to go, the hostess was very friendly. The portions are substantial you will get your money’s worth. I had enchiladas which were very good, I would bet money they make their sauce in house as it has a great flavor and a little kick.

LOVED this spot! The posole is mouth-watering delicious! We also had the Fiesta platter~very, very tasty! The red sauce rivals Tucson’s Mi Nidito’s — tasty, tasty, tasty!

My Wife and I stopped in to try this restaurant out. We had the Fiesta platter and found it to be excellent! My Wife especially commented on how good the red sauce tasted. I was impressed with the cheese enchilada, beans and rice. Way to go La Casita! We’ll be back for sure.

Stopped by for lunch on Tuesday while visiting Ft Huachuca. Not much to look at from the outside. Plenty of seating and and the wait staff is very friendly. Décor is very nice. The waitress quickly brought our drinks as well as chips and salsa. They serve a chunk mild salsa, a hot red, and a spicy salsa verde. The hot red salsa isn’t very hot but still tasty. The salsa verde was my favorite. The have a decent selection of lunch specials to choose from. I got the chicken enchilada which came with rice and beans. It comes with only one enchilada(you can add more if you want) but I was full. I’ll be back in the area soon and will definitely stop in again for another great meal.

Salsa is too spicy for me but chips are good. Chicken tacos are good. Service was okay. I’ll go back to try more. Update: went back to try other things. I ordered the chicken chimichangas, which were very good and great portion size. Loved it. Hubby got steak fajitas. He said the flavor was good, but the steak was very tough. He didn’t get a lot of meat and most of his plate was just green peppers. The guacamole was good too. I’ll go back for more.

I don’t know why this place doesn’t have more stars. The service is amazing, the food is filling and for a decent price I’ll be coming back!

Was hoping for more authentic Mexican food so close to the border. But portions were large and service was great. The Casitas Special chino was a good choice

Delicious authentic Mexican food! I’ve tasted several Mexican restaurants all over the nation as a truck driver & have found this restaurant to be the most hospitable in service & the tastiest food I’ve ever had. I love the ambience & the way that they prepare their meat is unlike any other, you can tell they make their food from scratch and with love! I recommend this place to everyone in the area or just passing through.

The tacos and margaritas were delicious. They also had sopapilla, which they turned into some sort of meat bun. It’s still good.

Good food. Nice service. I’d go again. Food was more traditional which was good. There were options for salsa which is always good to me. The interior was nice. The service for a busy lunch was good and friendly.

Since Gordo’s closed in Tucson, La Casita has the best Chimichangas I’ve found. The atmosphere is clean & pleasant. The service is always friendly & usually reasonably fast, & I almost everything I’ve tried here is good. It’s price point is a little high for Mexican food in SEAZ, but no more than you’d expect at any mid-range restaurant. Sometimes it can be a little crowded at lunch, & the quest dip is no bueno, but I’ve almost always had a good dining experience.

Way under staffed for a full house at lunch. Waited about ten minutes for a table. Five more minutes before we had salsa and chips. About ten minutes before the waiter took our order. For a place that advertises on the radio about a speedy lunch, this isn’t promising. Got here about 12:15 on a Thursday. It is 12:40 and we just got our drinks. We ordered some tacos to dine in and a steak fajita to go. At 1:05 we were apologized to, yet again, for the wait. A table who arrived an unknown amount of time before us just got their food. At 1:15, «We’ve only got like three guys working the kitchen» was what we just heard him tell another table. At 1:17, lunch arrived. Back in a few to tell you if it was worth the wait. Shrimp were small for the shrimp tacos. Beans and rice were just okay. Since my son filled up on chips, salsa and soda refills, we will have to wait an see how the beef tacos were for reheated dinner. My 13 year old son’s comment, without prompting was: «I will be buying a house and paying taxes before we get get our check.» Check came. Charged me for an extra sour cream. Didn’t bother trying to fix it since it is now 1:36 and we are finally getting ready to leave. Everyone has a bad day. Every place has bad days. However, waiting for 45 mins for food(lunch) at a Mexican Restaurant in a military town is really too long. No manager in sight, so I didn’t bother asking for one. Hopefully he is in the kitchen helping play catch up. I keep forgetting to try out Taco Gyro. Definitely headed there next time. Thinking of this lengthy lunch will remind me.

I stopped in on what seemed to be a pretty busy night for dinner and had a lovely evening! The beers are cheap if you’re willing to pass on the Margarita, and the Mole Chicken makes for a hearty meal with leftovers. I would pass on the queso dip if I went back(it was a pricy, huge portion and didn’t taste that great to me), but I would absolutely get the mole chicken again.

If you’re reading this while in the restaurant, get up, get out, and go somewhere else. 1.15 hours for«fish» tacos that were unpalatable. Really, really disappointing service, ambiance, and level of noise. This is not a restaurant worthy of your time.
