I have eaten here several times. Food has always been good. Fresh & hot, a gem to find good seafood in the desert all prepared in the Chihuahuan style. Yum. Ceviche is great, Shrimp are Fresh! *** Bring Cash as they do not accept Credit Cards *** Rating: Solid 4 stars.

My wife and I went here for lunch this past Saturday. The only thing that saved this review from being less than average was the ceviche. But even then there is better in the area. The service wasn’t that good, which it should have been since they weren’t busy. My wife had the fish tacos and I had the shrimp tacos. Neither were that good. They topped the tacos with too much lettuce and the batter was soggy. The ceviche was good though and plenty for both of us. However, there is a carneceria just East of Seventh Street that had a better tasting ceviche and it was cheaper. I do not think we will be going here again with all the other options in Sierra Vista.

Excellent seafood! Definitely a place for the folks that know good seafood. Might just be a little adventurist for most folks. Thanks Unilocalers!

Kind of bizarre looking from the outside, but decent inside. They do not accept card, but have an ATM with a cheap fee inside the place. The seafood is pretty decent, especially considering the location. Prices were alright, not the cheapest Mexican food. But it was by far cheaper than places in DC.

What a find! I owe this one to my fellow Unilocalers. I had been flying all day then driving the rental to Sierra Vista. As I turned left onto Fry Boulevard, I noticed Mariscos and remembered some decent reviews about it on Unilocal. After checking in to my hotel, I hopped back in the car and parked in front of the building, trying not to notice the skanky looking strip bar across the street(Who would name a titty bar The Sorry Gulch Saloon?). Nothing about this place should work. I mean, its a Mexican seafood restaurant in the middle of the Arizona desert!!! But holy crap… it works! I wasn’t hungry enough for a round of ceviche as a starter(that will come later in the week) but I did go for the Pulpo Fisherman’s Stew. The Octopus was delicious and tender. They wouldn’t dare overcook it with all those fragrant aromatics like green chili and onion and peppers. Bowl lapping good stuff. And cheap beer to boot… ALLDAY!

Ok, I am an adventurous type eater. But there is no way I can eat that gargantuan whole fried red snapper fish with its big googly eyes starring at me. You gotta be outta your mind. I will eat everything else at Mariscos. Oysters in Sierra Vista. ANd they are big and juicy and good. Come on. Throw in some garlic fish filet with garlicy buttery goodness dripping down onto my bed of white rice and french fries. All this with big oceanic scenes and dolphins handpainted on the wall by some dude from Hermosillo? YOUGOTTABEKIDDINGME! I cant get enough of this place. Beats the snot out of Gonga Burger.

Caught off guard… The first time I dined here, I went with a friend who had been before and was a pretty big fan of the place. Being pretty skeptical of Sierra Vista restaurants and seafood in Arizona, my only draw to the restaurant at the time was the advertisement I’d seen for $ 2 beers all day, every day. My buddy ordered the shrimp culichi which he’s tried before. When it arrived, I was thoroughly surprised by the bright green sauce that covered the shrimp and rice. I had never seen that at a Mexican restaurant before, and it was apparently a pepper and cheese sauce that wasn’t too bad at all. I wasn’t starving, so I ordered an order of raw oysters, and ceviche. I also enjoyed the salsa that came with our meals. The bottomless bowl of chips and salsa were enough to fill my tummy. I would never order the oysters ever again, but the ceviche was impressively delicious. I have returned twice now just to order a large ceviche to-go. For $ 8.50, the price is not too bad for a large order of deliciousness!

A wonderful surprise. Located right across the street from the main entrance into Ft Huachuca, this Mexican Seafood place is actually quite good. Located in what used to be a Burger King… and something before that, a wonderful artist has painted a seascape on both the outside and inside of the building. Friendly staff, quick service, and good food. Shrimp, Fish, and Octopus. For your main entrees these are your choices. They are prepared many different ways, but you would think they would have a few more options, especially when you can get mussels in the appetizer section. Also, the fish is… Fish. Since my wife and I both got a shrimp dish, we don’t know what kind of fish they offer. But, putting aside their hilarious menu however, the food was excellent. Remember to bring cash however. They have an ATM in the restaurant because of their cash only policy.
