Similar to what another Unilocaler had stated about appointments — you do get jerked around. You are told you will have an appt with one person and then the person is either not available and you get someone else or you get re-​scheduled for another time/​day.
Except for the rare occasion, for the most part the aestheticians here are alright but the front desk staff is usually rude and not at all in keeping with the whole relaxation vibe of the place. Here is a typical appointment, you head inside and are greeted by a rude front desk person who talks down to you, you are then greeted by the aesthetician who in comparison seems awesome. You spend your appointment getting rejuvenated and unwind and then come out to interact with a horrible person who negates the whole experience. There have been times when the front desk person has been nice but those times have been few and far between. The products are pretty good and I give it three stars for that. But the customer service by gets one star.

Through Unilocal I was lucky enough to get a free Skoah facial. The place is very clean, modern and stylish. The staff are all really friendly.
The treatment rooms (also very clean) had heated blankets, at first I wasn’t too crazy about that because it was warm out, but as I cooled down I was happy to be able to wrap myself up in the warm and cozy comforter.
What I liked the most about the treatment was learning a few very important things about my skin. That was incredibly useful. I also really liked those hot towels that were wrapped around my face. That felt really good after one of the masks.
Several different products were used on my skin. They all made my skin feel fresh and smelled so good! After the treatment I noticed that my skin was a little grainy. I think some of the scrub or mask didn’t get removed entirely. After I rinsed my face I noticed that my skin felt really good. It also looked a lot fresher. Later when I took a shower my skin felt really soft as I was rinsing and after the shower my skin still looked and felt great.
Before leaving the woman that did my facial showed me some of the products she used and what I really liked is rather than recommending the entire line-​up of products that she used she mentioned two that she thought would be the most helpful for my skin. I was able to buy several samples of the two recommendations she made plus a few others that I was interested in.
It was a good experience and I highly recommend it because you might learn some really important things about your skin.

My friend and I literally left not more than 20 min ago from Skoah and I’m still insanely relaxed and sad that my facial is over. We both scheduled an appt for our first facials after finding out they had complimentary facials through Unilocal and it was the greatest Saturday morning experience! The place is super clean & well organized and the service was awesome! My girl (sorry I totally forgot her name but she had a lot of cute nose piercings) was super sweet and asked me what my skin type was. The massage was amazing and I highlyyyy recommend coming here for a facial! Ours was the fitskin facial which accommodated to our skin type and included a massage of your choice! Loved itttttt

Had a facial today with Lexi. She is fantastic and knowledgable! They definitely are trying to «educate» you on Skoah products, But I didn’t feel pressured to buy anything. I really enjoyed my facial and hope to return!

I’ve been a member for 5 months now. Skoah has really improved the health of my skin. I never really thought I needed any monthly facials since I take good natural care of my skin. But I see the difference now in the mirror and just how great my skin feels that I encourage every one to invest in Skoah. My Skoah monthly membership has been extremely beneficial. It’s so affortable and I get discounts on products specially great for this time of year total Xmas gifts! You really build a bond with your Skoah staff member who will be programmed to you for when Ur due for another great session. It’s a combination of a spa time and dermatologist. You get to relax with a little shoulder and neck massage during some facial options and your face has been deeply pore cleaned.

The skin gods are alive and employed at this company! Rachel, in particular, is an incredibly gifted esthetician. Her vast knowledge of skin and products astounded me, and she was incredibly kind. The facial felt better than any facial I’d ever received – the products are so natural and smooth feeling – and the scent is heavenly. I can’t wait to go back and see Rachel!

The Killer Foot was pretty disappointing. The description says «killer foot rub» but this was really just an application of a few different types of lotion to each foot and then hot towel wrap.
They also said they had parking validation on the website and when I asked for it at check it they said it was no longer available.

While the staff was pleasant I am afraid my overall experience was tainted by the product pushing. It seemed there was an up-​sell theme to the entire appointment. If it hadn’t been for that I would rate this business higher. It was hard to relax when I felt I had to field all the product selling attempts and the implied need that I had to book my next appointment before I left. ugh.

Skoah is a beautiful and clean spa located on the heart of Broadway. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I had a facial that left my (very sensitive) skin feeling soft and clean. They were not pushy with selling their products, and the prices were very reasonable! Skoah is an established Canadian company that definitely knows how to run a clean spa.
