Worst ever! It’s a Sunday non football season. Pay attention. Lucky u have old alcoholics to keep ur business running. What happens when they die of cirosis?

A dive with charm enough. Two beers in 25 min. with fries. Excellent! I had a bad day– wanted a beer– I was starved and I only had 25 minutes. Total domination on tap. Blue collar Aurora — the fries tasted like hometown greasy spoon. Paid the bill and headed out. Next time those cheese sticks are mine.

Dive bars are distinguished by their unpretentious food, friendly service and inexpensive fare. This place is good and the food respectable. Beer is cold, the staff friendly and it is cheaper than most. It’s going through a change in ownership right now. Not sure how that may affect things.

Great dive bar for karaōke! The regulars are sweet and weird, just the way I like them! I always get serenaded by leather clad cowboy! Also got the privilege of seeing Seattle’s own Reggie Dudeson; karaōke extraordinaire!

Heads or tails is a great spot on the North end. I don’t think I ever ate here but I drank lots of beer and had great conversations with folks that were out having a good time. I I remember standing outside and watching the hookers walk by and I’d just blow smoke and smile. Aurora has some great charm.

DIVE is putting it lightly. I’ve been here 3 times, and 2 of those times there were fights in the bar, and nobody did anything about it. Go to this place if you want to hang out with the local Aurora Ave homeless population.

great place to grab a quiet lunch … no stress … if you are into «no frills» then this would be a good choice … all the food is seriously like home-​made

I’ll let your imagination run rapid because it’s pretty fair to say that you probably will not even be able to grasp the good time that was had by Riss and I at Heads or Tails.
It’s small. The occupancy sign stated that the full capacity of space to be used is limited to 46 people. We counted 29 in total. Close call.
The drinks were strong and cheap. The music selection was great and I got to overuse my rights to play Johny Cash excessively.
Where do you find toothless guy, 86’d guy, pirate guy w/​patch, ICP guy, redneck Tennessee guy, deaf guy, stripper girl, old perv guy, anti-​bush political pot guy, barely legal G’d up from the feet up guy, and two sexy Unilocaler girls? Head or Tails.
There was same chair dancing, sing alongs to Prince and dollar donations made to encourage our musical selections from the Juke Box. This was one crazy night. I cannot even focus on writing this review b/​c I keep having these image flash backs. Updating later sounds like a good idea!

It’s Tuesday, obviously the number one party day of the week… am I right? Hello? Bueller?
Anyway, time to start tackling this foreign land called the «north end»…that my lady Delilah is now living in. (note to other Unilocalers, every Unilocaler I know who has moved since meeting me, ends up moving closer to me, so… well. be warned)
We went in search of some bar hopping to get to know the area…
Stop number two turned out to be THE stop of the night.
Let’s get to the business part. $ 2.50 well drinks during happy hour, specials during any Mariner game, including $ 2 basket of rally fries, appetizers avail all night, etc.
Now, when you say .oh I don’t know.‘rum and coke”.a certain standard image comes to mind. A certain percentage of mixture if you will. They are a pair, they go together is some fashion. Not here. Here, the «coke» is an obvious afterthought when you watch the bartender Chris work her magic and almost not have room for the coke in the drink.
At one point, there was a real life eye patch wearing pirate in our midst, and earlier in the night, I’m pretty sure the ratio between teeth and tattoos in the joint put tattoos far in the lead.
I have also found my next calling. Because the juke box here is so ecclectic, so fun, and the regulars here so NOT used to the likes of Delilah and I, that as we shimmied around the bar, dollar bills starting flying our way for more music. Oh yeeeah. =)
Pool table, fireplace, huge patio, chess board, seriously, what a weird and super fun place.
Oh, and Tuesday is taco Tuesday.
5 hours, 3 appetizers, 6+ drinks, and a tab that came to $ 19.00. WHAT? Yes, $ 19.
