We have tried many other Chinese restaurants but this is our favorite. The portions are generous. We always have leftovers. Delivery is very fast and arrives hot and fresh. Prices are reasonable. The shrimp puffs are the best!

The food is awesome and you get large portions. The problem is the annoying waiter(old chinese man). Halfway or with few food left on your plate, he already starts to get your plate without even asking if you’re done with it. I felt like he rushes you to finish. I don’t like being rushed when I’m eating. But other than that, I got nothing else negative to say.

This restaurant made our day. We thought it was just another so called Chinese restaurant with Americanized Chinese food but the waitress was very nice and recommended a few dishes that we might like. And we did! They were all very delicious! We had a really tough day and didn’t expect such a turn around at the end of it.

This is the quintessential Chinese dine-in/takeout joint. I’ve dined in and have had it to go, and was pleased both times with the service and quality. The dining room is not huge, but comfortable enough to take a date there, or the family. While we were eating in the restaurant, no fewer than a dozen people came in to pick up orders, and the delivery driver came and went three times. Why do so many locals like this place? Because when you order a classic dish like General Tso’s Chicken, you get a crispy plateful of gently fried deliciousness — enough for three meals. Same goes for the orange chicken. The beef and snow peas are also good, with no fatty meat and nicely cooked vegetables. Egg rolls are better than most in the area. Spring rolls(cold rice paper wrapped) are good too, although not quite as nice as the ones typically served at Thai restaurants. Hot & Sour soup is rich, but not as spicy as I like. Thankfully it is easily doctored with chile oil. The undercooked eggplant, however, wasn’t so easily remedied. There are a few other decent Chinese restaurants in the area, but pound for pound, Wong’s is the best spot.

Used to be the best Chinese takeout around… new chef or owner has completely turned that around… food tastes almost rotten now. We used to order atleast 2 times a month from here… we’re done with it now though.

Living on the Island, we have to travel for good Chinese. We were extremely satisfied with Wong’s Asian. Everything was perfect. The egg rolls were perfectly cooked. The pepper steak and General Tso’s chicken were perfect. The pepper steak was cooked with choice cuts of meat and was tender and flavorful. The Tso chicken was perfect. The spare ribs were to die for! My Lovely wife and I will make the drive from Galveston many more times for this exquisite Oriental fare!

We had previously rated their food 4 or 5 star but not with today’s order. Egg rolls were good but wonton soup was doughy and broth weak. Also ordered Happy Family but tasteless, even the few shrimp(okay, 5) were over cooked. If they have a new chef, they need a replacement! Will try one more time and if not as good as they used to be, will have to go elsewhere. Disappointing…

The amount of food you get for what you pay is really good. I was not overly impressed with the food quality though. I thought a rated 4 star restaurant would be awesome. I was dissapointed though. The staff was really nice and courteous.

The restaurant has changed owners and cooks and it isn’t near as good. The previous owner opened a place in League City called Wong’s Asian Cuisine off 518/w.main. If you liked the foods, go there

This is a relatively small spot to dine in, and we noticed that they get a pretty steady stream of take-out orders. But the food is really excellent! We will definitely go there again!

By far the best Chinese restaurant in the area! It’s great to eat inside or Togo. The way they package everything to go is perfect. Our girl Alison takes care of us Togo every time!

What happened to my fav Asian restaurant in our area? Haven’t been for a while but after today will not return. Had lunch shrimp & broccoli, shrimp smell was very strong and food had no flavor at all. Ate 3 shrimp and left the rest. Nasty. Friend ordered an entrée she’s had before, asked that it not be too spicy when they brought it to the table the noodles and meats were dried out and extremely salty, she couldn’t eat it and asked to have it prepared without salt, not only did it have no salt, it had no spices, no flavor and she couldn’t eat it. They charged the full price and would not budge they complained that she had asked them to remake it. Had the young woman at the counter been taking care of business other than messaging on her cell the entire time and not been so confrontational there could have been a better outcome. Maybe they’ve gotten a new owner, cook, etc. whatever, we won’t be back. The way the food came out of the kitchen today will run what few customers they have off. Don’t waste your time or $.

Went to their web on line and saw a picture of General Tso’s chicken with broccoli. I got it to go and when in my car opened it up and there was no broccoli so I went back in and the cashier acted like I was wrong. I told her that I would be happy to pay extra and that I would not have ordered it if it was just chicken. Instead of charging me $ 2.00 for the broccoli, she was going to give me my $ 20 back and recharge me? I think the owners need a new cashier. When I got home I cut into a piece and it was dark meat, my fault for not asking, but it was heavily breaded, gooey and it was difficult to find the chicken. So in the trash and I won’t be back.

Chow mein usually has noodles, right??? The meat and everything was fine, but really what the hell, wongs chef? You got everything else in my chow mein except the NOODLES??? Also if you live in Nassau bay, they won’t deliver to you! It’s like 5 mins from my house! Good Chinese food is so hard to find…

Excellent service, huge portions. I enjoyed super tender beef lo mein and excellent cream cheese puffs(I made sure there was no crab in them, as I am allergic to shellfish.). My daughter had egg drop soup, very good and creamy, and cashew chicken. She didn’t like the chicken, but we took it home to feed the Mikey’s in our house. Overall, we think it’s our new favorite Chinese restaurant on the south east side.

In a word, WOW! This place is awesome! The time quoted for delivery was beat by 10 minutes. Melissa, the girl that took our order was great! By the way, they DO take American Express(not everyone does!) We had house fried rice, super! Pork, pan fried dumplings, OUTOFTHISWORLD, and it was a huge order! We also had sweet and sour chicken, awesome, and Mongolian beef, also AWESOME. Although the beef did have a tinge too many onions for my taste. The sauce that came with the dumplings was so good we used it on everything! We got all this, plus two 2-liter bottles of pip for under $ 40! Some of the best delivery Chinese food we have ever had! PS– It’s now 2 days later, and I just heated up and ate the last two dumplings. I couldn’t believe how super yummy delicious they were, two days later! I just had to share. Something that good deserves sharing!

Is this place even real??? Favorite Chinese restaurant EVER. The food comes to you fast(like I don’t even understand how they cook it that quickly) and piping hot, and the portions are ridiculously large(leftovers have lasted in my house for multiple meals), all for a great price. I have never had tofu like this before. The eggplant dish is also fabulous. I can’t believe this exists in Seabrook… GO!

We’re new to the area and needed to find a Chinese go to place. We read the reviews on Unilocal and decided to try wongs. It was a good choice, it is now our go to Chinese place. The staff is always very friendly. We prefer to do take out, the inside of the restaurant is very small, and the takeout traffic has always been busy. we have tried different dishes, and tend to go back to our moo goo gai pan and the Mongolian chicken or beef. the meats are always fresh tasting and the vegetables are fresh and good sized. The quantities are large and we always have left overs. the spring rolls were ok, a little bland. my husband loves the cheese puffs, and there’s a ton in an order. my husband got the orange chicken one time and felt that there was too much breading, so that’s why we opt for the non breaded dishes. they are closed on sundays, just an fyi.

Ok, seriously? WELOVETHISPLACE. We have dinner here religiously every time we’re in the area(live 30mins away), and we’re always blown away. Tonight we mixed it up a bit and got the Spring rolls with peanut sauce, the chicken lettuce wraps, house lo Mein, and the General Tso’s chicken. All of it: DELICIOUS with GARGANTUAN portions. $ 40 and we have three meals each.
