This was one of my favorite restaurants. However, I ate there last night with my family and something has definitely changed. I don’t eat out that often, but had a craving for Mexican food. Even though they are a bit pricey ($ 17.00 for two cheese enchiladas with a side of rice and beans) we decided to go to Maya’s. My husband always gets the steak, but, last night, said it was tasteless and just ok. My food, cheese enchiladas, came to the table cold, and I had to ask the waiter to heat it up. The rice and refried beans had no flavor, and the vegetables in the rice (peas and carrots) were clearly from a bag of frozen vegetables.
Something that hasn’t changed about this place is the drinks and the nachos. They were very good, but again pricey, $ 11.00 for a margarita and $ 11.95 for nachos.

Had to get up and find waiter to
was empty. Drink was horrible. Asked to change fier something else and waiter said i need to speak to manager. Waited for manager ten minutes then finally went to get him myself. I told him if they were not going to serve us that we would.leave. he said ‚“thats a. decision you will have to make”. We left. Horrible sevice. Employees and management are not hospitable.

I was forced to try this place after the unfortunate closure of Santa Fe in Tarrytown. After almost two decades of fantastic steak fajitas at Santa Fe, the fajitas at this place were a complete let down. The fajitas were drenched in grease and barely edible and the rice and bean side was sub-par. To make matters worse, there was barely any guacamole on the side and instead, there was a huge blob of sour cream.
I am giving this place two stars instead of one because the appetizer of guacamole was fantastic, although a tad pricey, and the service was good.
tl;dr: If you want good fajitas, don’t come here.

Slightly above average Mexican food with poor service. Several times they have brought out my entrée before I was finished with the appetizer. They serve everything so fast which can be good or bad depending on your mood. Chips and salsa are fresh and tasty.

Hubby and I had dinner here once. Place was clean lights were dim and there was a guy with his guitar serenating different tables (ours included)
Our food was savory and fresh, my margarita was on point. The free nachos and dip were great! would def come back.
