«Hey, Wendell? There are 10 minutes worth of tickets in here, and you’re out there smokin’ a cigarette!» Yeah. This place is basically run by millenials. They seem nice enough, but they begrudge work of any kind. Stay out of this place. Even the McDonald’s across the road is a better place to eat.

Horrible lol the French toast was plain bread toasted. Really not worth the little money I spent…

Nothing unique about this particular place, but it is clean and well run and the staff is friendly. Food is what you expect at Denny’s, which is why I go there for an occasional breakfast or a club sandwich– which Denny’s does prepare very well. Saratoga has nothing else in the way of diner food.

They’ve remodelled this location and it’s a neat look. Much more pleasant than the old chain restaurant feel. We went after the lunch rush on Saturday, around 1.30. We were seated straight away, our orders were taken quickly and the waitress was pleasant. Food came out reasonably fast and was hot, tasty and exactly as requested. We were pleasantly fed, quickly served and it was $ 22. Not bad, Denny’s, not bad.

This Denny’s is about to unveil a face-lift on 5÷22÷14, so I thought I’d give my review a face-lift too. Except it won’t be as nice as the décor improvements. The lighting is nicer, the booths have new upholstery. I’ve never experienced new car smell at a Denny’s. For me, this particular Denny’s remains a good place for breakfast, and a decent place for lunch(and it is VERY busy here for lunch). Forget dinner, unless you order a breakfast or lunch item or maybe a burger. What few items they have really aren’t worth it, IMO. My mom’s piece of salmon came out uncooked in the middle, and I suspect it was a case of it being cooked without being properly thawed. They had to take it back and cook another piece for her. We certainly didn’t have that problem with my grilled chicken, or the broccoli. I think I could have pureed the broccoli with a fork at this point. Then there’s that stuff they serve which they call«butter» — it was too light colored to be butter, too shiny, too light(it was whipped) and not too buttery in taste. So perhaps it’s a spread. They certainly give you a lot of it though. The waitress and manager were great. They recognized the problem, and they discounted our dinners more than the AARP discount would have been. I would still come to this Denny’s for breakfast and lunch, but I’m unlikely to want to come back here for dinner.

Good food and service, just like any other Denny’s. Very nice on the inside. Great for brunch breakfast lunch

Best coffee around. Service was a little slow but we were there at 10:30 and it was a bit busy. Can’t go wrong with a grand slam. Overall it was a typical good time. Nothing bad but nothing extraordinary either.

If it was possible to give a one star I would. From the start our visit was horrible. The waiter was either having a really day or was in the wrong line of work. After getting our drink order he slammed the glasses on the table, literally slammed them. Should have just walked at this point, but everyone has bad days and thought I’d give him another chance. Nope, he got every order screwed up, didn’t even bother correcting him cause the food took close to an hour to get anyway. We had children with us and the dish with a couple of chocolate chip pancakes came as one huge pancake, no syrup or butter. My friend that I went with was has an aarp card and we typically split the bill, but the manager said that wasn’t possible. We’ve been to other Denny’s in the capital region that this was no problem to do. All it requires is the tab to be split, which this manager must have thought was too much work. I will NEVER be going back to this Denny’s and I strongly suggest no one else go to it ever!

I had a similar experience compared to another reviewer. I was sat down at a recently wiped down table that was still very wet. The waitress did not even bother to dry it for us before throwing down our silverware and telling us she’d be back with our drinks. Aside from getting our food, We never saw her. She never returned to the table to see how we were doing, Never even bothered to bring us our check despite sitting at the table for 5 minutes waiting for it. The food was good but it’s service that really makes or breaks a visit and the service I had here was far less than the quality I am use when eating out. Even though I like to eat here, I will definitely not be coming back for quite some time.

I rarely go to a Denny’s because I like to eat at locally owned and operated restaurants. However, because it’s open 24/7, has low prices, and is convenient for me, I have stopped in at this Denny’s two or three times over the past year. First of all, getting into the place can be a little tricky. It’s off a one-way road, and the parking lot is not very large. The best way to get back to Route 50 is by cutting through the McDonald’s parking lot. The food is a good value. Certainly a step up from fast food, about the same quality as a typical diner, Friendly’s, or Applebee’s. They only cook burgers medium well. The double cheeseburger is decent and is and is a great value — two huge hamburger patties. Service is OK, but I don’t really look for great service anyway because I usually sit at the counter. The only time I ever go to Denny’s is late at night when everything else is closed, so it is not very crowded when I’m there. There are always a few people behind the counter that can get me what I need. A very average establishment that comes in handy once in a while for a late night meal.

Good service, clean, and efficient. Love that Grand Slam customization, though I definitely made the wrong choices(grits and poached eggs are NOT a Denny’s specialty). For $ 7 or less, though, on almost every meal, it’s hard to gripe about much of anything.

We came here before our last visit to Saratoga flat track for breakfast. My wife’s mother works here as a hostess and we wanted to surprise her as it was her birthday and we wanted to wish her a happy birthday. Needless to say she was surprise!.. So I was feeling eggs and hash browns so that is what I order. I made my own breakfast choosing 4 items. I ordered 2 eggs over easy, side of bacon extra crispy, hash browns well done, and a order of sourdough toast dry. From my experience restaurants tend to kill toast with a pound of butter. I don’t want to have a heart attack while eatting breakfast that’s why I order my toast dry, LOL. I didn’t have great expectations because I mean really, it is Denny’s. So my breakfast came out and I broke my yolks on my eggs and they were not cooked enough for me, they were slimey.gross. I basically dip my toast in it and only eat the egg white surrounding it. The hash browns were excellent, my bacon was cooked correctly but it seems to me they skimped me out a piece, and the toast was fine. After that I was kicking myself in the butt because I should have order their banana foster french toast, but oh well my fault. Just a make sure that you are close to a bathroom after eating because you will not make it far… HAHAHA!

We got out of the house a little later than we normally do o’ a Sunday-marnin’. So, instead of waiting for a seat to open up at the good ol’ local greasy spoon, we drove over to Denny’s instead. I’m not a fan of chain restaurants — for the most part. There are a few that are tolerable but I hate feeding the corporations when there are smaller, tastier fish in the pond. Why should I eat at a restaurant that gets its food from SYSCO when I can eat somewhere that buys locally? But, I digress. We were seated immediately(it was 8AM), and our drink order was taken. The high chair that was brought over had some weird mystery crust on it. Ew. Crayons and a kids menu were brought to us. Gee, thanks for the thought, but we’re not quite to the crayons-aren’t-food stage, and the kid doesn’t need a bunch of pancakes and sausage balls drizzled in «raspberry» sauce. We ordered our breakfasts and a scrambled egg for the kid. Two coffees and a water. $ 22.20 after tax. Now the coffee. This is what really gets me. It’s a DINER. There’s supposed to be at least DECENT coffee. I’m not asking for some ultimate coffee that’s been roasted by being swallowed and shat out by an ape. But good god! I wouldn’t even demean pigs by calling that coffee«pig swill». The application of cream and sugar did nothing to dilute the taste of «awful». But the food was decent. And the waitstaff was really nice. Will we go back? Eh. Maybe. But we won’t be getting the coffee.

The food was ok, the waitress was extremely nice, given it was the night of Christmas. Not a whole lot of anything spectacular to say here — definitely a typical Denny’s. I’d return for a cheap meal, but I prefer other places in general — nothing against this location. As a warning for first-timers, it is a little funky to get into off the highway.

I probably wouldn’t have come here if it weren’t for my family making plans/reservations for a large party. I prefer diners any day over these fast food b-fast chained restaurants. But $ 4 for breakfast and All you can eat Pancakes! Good lord! How can that be a bad thing? The pancakes are comparable with IHOP’s but larger and lighter. We were a large party and the waitress was great in dealing with us all + all the kids. Refills of coffee and apple juice were not forgotten and plenty of maple syrup shots for the entire table. This could be the cheapest breakfast I’ve ever had. However I wouldn’t recommend their regular lunch/dinner menu. I’ve had Denny’s before at a different location 4+ yrs ago and it made me feel so nauseous.

Possibly the best Denny’s there is. We swing by this particular location every year on our trip to Lake George for a breakfast that never fails to blow me away. Every single food item is fantastic. Not like other places where you walk out saying, «Wow the pancakes were great, but the sausage needed work and the bacon was too crispy.» This places is 100% satisfaction from the start of every pancake to the end of every bacon strip. A must if you are in the area during breakfast time. I cannot comment on the lunch and dinners they have as I always looked to Denny’s for breakfast and breakfast only. Sorry.
