Stopped in here with a coworker tonight after traveling in from out of town. The inside of the place is very cozy, with prints and artwork on the walls that are for sale– beautiful to look at. The menu is eclectic, offering multiple sandwiches, wraps, pastas and various entrees to choose from. I started with the French Onion Soup, which was really light(the broth was clearly home made, and even the croûton and cheese didn’t overwhelm it. My entrée was the Shrimp Napoleon, which was 3 fried wonton crisps with boursin cheese and shrimp on top. Came with mashed potatoes and seasonal veggies(squash). Outstanding, light, and perfect for what I was looking for. I have to compliment the bread service, it is really outstanding with garlic oil and cloves of garlic studded in the loaf(like hassleback potatoes). I destroyed this even though I knew this was a bad idea. We took desserts to go, I haven’t had mine yet but it is calling my name so I am going to get into that ASAP. Worth the visit, service was excellent and reminded me of growing up in Rochester, NY with the neighborhood and ambiance. P. S. The water with a slice of cucumber was really refreshing. Didn’t think I’d like it, but I certainly did.

If you are looking for nothing special, just ordinary, you’ve found your spot. Saratoga has too many better options for us to ever return.

I have been wanting to go to 62 Beekman as it’s so close to my house(7 minute walk) and it was everything I expected and more. So quaint and a wonderful décor inside. The staff was great too. Although hot today we opted to sit outside on the front porch which was perfect. The cucumber water was very refreshing. I had the fig salad with steak and my brother the portobello mushroom burger. Both were very good as was the desert(voted best Saratoga 2015 desert.) I also enjoyed a good IPA. I will definitely be going back! I hope it doesn’t lose it’s neighborhood feel with all the tourist:-)

So decided to give this place another shot as we had gone a few years ago and we felt it was average, not bad but nothing to draw back. But a rainy night and wanting something close so we went there. First the bread they served was warm on edges and frozen yes I said frozen in the middle. The end pice from them heating it would be good for squirrels it was so dried out. Then my side salad came, a small plate with lettuce and two very thin slices of tomato and two cucumbers, there you go, that’s it. Taste was not bad but it was like they threw those on the side and gave you lettuce. Dinner, my wife had the grilled salmon, awful smell of fish and the potatoes were never seasoned and were dry. Lemon for your fish, literally a 3 inch diameter slice of lemon you could see through. My chicken parm, certainly store bought and breaded, sauce was not bad. But back to tiny plates and a half pound of pasta u Dee the chicken parm, and here is the best part, NO sauce at all on pasta. I might as well eaten the pasta from the strainer. No sauce I still can’t believe it. Then I have the chicken parm wrapped and they give it to me no the contained is up and down and by the time were home sauce all over the bag. Never again.

My wife suggested this place for her birthday. I had the bacon burger medium rear. It was fantastic. My wife had the stuffed shrimp and said it was very good. She also had the hot and spicy martini which she raved about. I just had a Sierra Nevada IPA which was good. Service was very good, the cucumber water was a nice touch. I would recommend this place.

Tables too close & not enough of them, heard bits of everyones conversation. Everytghing was overcooked starting with the bread given with olive oil before appetizer. Service was wonderful though and the prices were not expensive but shouldn’t have been for that quality of food.

I was given voucher from a friend for free food so decided to check it out… OMG this place is small… On the west side of town but who cares? I’d put this place up against any restaurant on Broadway & beyond!!! Waitstaff friendly, knowledge about menu but not intrusive. Menu small but food AAA. Yummy stuff w/a twist. If U appreciate food a step above ordinary fare give them a try… U will not be disappointed :) check them out on Groupon &/or Living Social.

My wife and I come here for breakfast on Sunday mornings after church and it is like being at home. The staff is very friendly and nothing seems to be too much for them. We really enjoy this hidden gem.

Today was my third time going to their brunch. I wasn’t very impressed the first few times but the convenience of being able to make a reservation for brunch brought me back in. This was definitely the worst meal I’ve had in a long time. I was there with four other people and all of our omelettes were overcooked with very little inside. None of us will be going back unfortunately.

I received a gift certificate for 62 Beekman recently. I had never heard of it before. I went this evening and trust me it will not be my last time. IIt is a very intimate and very colorful an d has a lot of local artwork. The food was awesome — My husband had the strip steak which he said was cooked to perfection and I had the salmon. The salmon was delicious but I have to tell you the way they prepared the zucchini really made the dish! We were waited on by a women named Maria she was excellent and truly took care of us! I do recommend making a reservation since this location is small and they do get crowded. I have to say this is my new spot! I cant wait to go again!

A return visit to 62 Beekman for my wife’s 50th birthday. A great choice and even better than our last experience, which was very good. Nick is usually the bartender, but tonight he waited tables due to a staffing issue. Great job on his part… Very low key, friendly, and attentive. My wife had the Tuscan chicken, and said it was excellent. I had the New York strip steak, and it was perfectly prepared. Overall, a great dining experience. Highly recommend a visit to this pleasant restaurant in the upcoming arts district of Saratoga Springs.

This quaint West side bistro has the look and feel of a Must GO. After contemplating between the Filet Mignon and the NY Strip, I decided on the filet.(mainly because I’m a traditionalist, and the strip was accompanied with a dousing of crumpled blue cheese) Their $ 30 attempt of a filet measured ½″ — ¾″ tall. It was singed WELLDONE. A far cry from the MED I ordered, and had more fatty grizzle than many chucks one can buy for $ 3.99/lb at any lower tier supermarket. Brooke(server) was polite, the manager(probably due to embarrassment) never showed up at the table to address the culinary disaster. If accountability were a menu item, it would have been 86 prior to grand opening. Being an avid Saratoga restaurant goer, 62 Beekman may be worthy of a second chance. However, if management decides to take its forgiving customer’s for granted, my next review will not be this kind.(maybe I’ll even take a picture)

Enjoyed a great dinner with friends and took advantage of the great Living social deal they had going on $ 25 for $ 40 worth of food. Second time back and it was just as good as the first time.

Chicken Francaise– pounded nicely, tender & perfectly coated. Yet lacked the depth of flavor that makes this dish so delectable. Anyone can throw olive oil, lemon and garlic together. Missed the mark with developing the depth of flavor with these ingriedients. At $ 19 I incorrectly assumed I was purchasing something that I could not replicate at home in 20 minutes. Sauce needed more reduction. Much to watery with no density. However, the place was nice and the staff are friendly. Except I already have a nice place and friends. What I don’t have is good food! Oy.

First time for us. THEWATER was even great! Pint glasses with«War Horse and Saratoga Brewery,» on them. Cucumber water(my favorite– detoxing, no less). Ceasar salad was plenty for two(split it). We had the«Sun-pasta.» They offered chicken, steak or shrimp on it, however we asked for Salmon instead. It was delicious! The pasta portion could have been shared(not the Salmon though). The bread was Italian, crispy with awesome oil with greek olives in it(delicious also). Waitress was a doll! offered a 25.00 coupon, so we decided to use it. We will be returning. Great Ambiance! Fabulous! I highly reccomend it!

Beekman is one of our go to restaurants on the west side. They have an awesome happy hour that runs from 3 – 6 daily. The drinks are buy one get one free and they have a handful of $ 5 Tapas. Who doesn’t love some Tapas and atleast two martinis? They don’t skimp on the martinis, it’s well worth the price. My personal favorite is the hot and dirty. The downfall? Space is limited! Not a place to enjoy happy hour with a party lager than 4. They have an absolutely amazing Crabcake Po’boy sandwich. The Crabcake is lovely because it is light and airy Im not a fan of those packed like a meatball. It’s topped with a cranberry slaw and served with fresh greens and balsamic. I am a creature of habit and have probably ordered this dish 6+ times and it never disappoints! Fortunately this past week I was feeling like going a bit wild and choosing another option. Wow was I happy I did. I went with the shrimp Napoleon. It was fresh and the boursin cheese knocked my socks off! Not to mention the lovely garlic wine sauce to top it off! Definitely give it a whirl! Must trys: Hot & Dirty Martini Shrimp Napoleon Crabcake Po’boy Samoa cheesecake Sea salt & caramel chocolate cake

We went here on a whim and could not have been happier. Our bartender Amanda was so personable and went so far out of her way to make our first experience there one to remember. We had the happy hour(b1g1) drinks and the $ 5 tapas. Could have sat there for hours if we didn’t have other places to go but we will be back many many more times.

Outstanding, creative food at very reasonable prices. All of the ingredients were fresh, made to order and tasty. Attentive and caring staff makes this one of our best dining experiences in the Saratoga area. While making our reservations I mentioned that my wife and I and another couple were celebrating a milestone event. The management and staff went above and beyond to make our visit a memorable one. No detail to attention is too small as the owners and chef of this restaurant have figured out how to creat the perfect dining experience. Bravo!

We came here tonight for dinner and used a living social coupon! The food was amazing and the waitress was great as well. We came in without a reservation and there were no seats available. The waitress was quick to offer bringing out an extra table for us to put in the dining room so we could be seated right away. The food came out quickly and was very fresh with great flavors. I had the Tuscan chicken, which I highly recommend. The artwork on the walls and ambiance was very nice for conversation and comfort. I would definitely go for the dessert as well(chocolate brownie sundae!) Needless to say, we will be returning.
