The worst subway ever. Workers are just not only working properly. Didn’t even cut the foot long sandwich. Also sandwich couldn’t even eat. I just threw them in a garbage can.

Friendly team member behind the counter taking and processing my order. I found the service here to be prompt. The restaurant maybe a little small, but there are a few seats available if you want to eat in. This is one of the restaurants to visit when in need of a sandwich. The Salami sandwich is delicious and I am craving for another one as I write this review.

So, me and my husband went there about two days ago, the first time our sandwiches were pretty good served and with a lot of cheese but this time, they put a little cheese and some lettuce. That was okay until we wanted to buy some cookies, the girl at the cashier machine was so distracted that not only she threw our cookies to the floor, she tried to sell us that dirty cookies!

Plain and simple, while living in the Fillmore Center I came here all the time and every time I left, I had the same thought — «those guys are literally too stoned to make a sandwich». I’m sure there’s more that meets the eye to making a decent sandwich but I think a few less rips from the pipe each day might help these guys out.

I have to tell them to change the gloves after touching meat and when I told her to change it, she got so angry and threw away the bread.

A typical subway. This positives include that it’s open 24 hours(unusual for this city) and it is relatively clean. Negatives: this area can be sketchy. Overall it is a Subway so if you like Subway this place is A-OK.

This is easily the slowest Subway in the United States. 2 people max working and no system whatsoever. They just do whatever they want randomly, it’s not like one person does meat and the other does veggies/condiments its just random. Plus they take their sweet time between every sandwich, and try to charge you for a bag even if you didn’t ask for one. 5 thumbs down. Only reason to go here is because its franchised and it’s close to my place. Seriously #1 slowest subway of all time. Literally went there during a 49ers game at half-time and got home at the 2 minute warning… and I live on the same block…

Since I moved to the city years ago I pretty much stopped entertaining«chains» and«franchises» with my business and going to the«ma & pa» lil’ guys. This has proven to raise the bar in quality four fold and it’s just a good feeling to support your local merchants. Well today I made an impulse decision because I was having frustrations with the smoothness of my errand running and instead of grabbing a bite where I planned… I saw a Subway nearby one of my stops and though it would just make it easier to grab a sandwich while I was still parked. This impulse decision reminded me of why I made the conscious decision years ago… The store was dirty. not just tables and counters but the floor actually had leaves blown in from the street and looked muddy. The service was … well, :stupid”. after waiting a long time with only one person in front of me(I’ll get back to her) I ordered the«„Premium Steak and Cheese“». Now as I stated earlier I’m not a regular of these crap strip mall joints… but If I had to guess, I would think that their«„Premium Steak and Cheese“» menu item had a predetermined list of ingredients involved. So I was surprised, when the clerk slapped a glob of this grated brown crap on a unevenly cut chunk of bread and asked me «what do you want on it?» The«sneeze case» didn’t look appealing either… Utensils lied in the tubs but not every one so there was obvious cross contamination. This must be a particularly bad Subway because the fore-mentioned women that was before me left while she was making her sandwich saying, «that’s not the way the meat looks at the other Subway. » She was implying that the meat sat marinated already and not put on the sandwich dry and sauce added later. I can’t say either way… I haven’t’ been to a Subway in years and it will be more until I go back.

The customer service here is HORRID. An employee named Kamala gave us so much unnecessary attitude. As I was deciding what condiments to put on my sandwich, she had the audacity to order me to hurry up because there was two other people in line. I wasn’t even taking that long & it should have been her job & priority to call in for help from another employee. Well what do you know! A few minutes later, another employee did come to her help. It wasn’t that difficult to ask for help! Then as Kamala was finishing up two of our sandwiches, we told her we only had one more to order. She replied to us in the RUDEST way possible! «Oh wow, you should’ve told me that before!» Uhhhh no, this is your job. Complete disregard that we are paying customers. There was NO reason for her attitude, ATALL. I did not appreciate it one bit and we are NEVER going here again. Deuces.

This location sits across the street from The Fillmore Center, with some street parking in front. Safeway shopping center is behind them with a pretty large lot. Highlights — *Friendly, quick service. *Small, but pretty clean restaurant. *Fresh ingredients Bonus — they are open 24 ours making this the perfect spot for a late night stop. Overall…5 dollar, 5 dollar, 5 dollar foot long. That’s right folks… it’s Subway time!

This Subway is annoying for two reasons: — When I asked the sandwich artist to NOT give me a bag for my sandwich because it was wasteful she ignored me and tried putting it in a bag anyway. I literally had to yell at her to NOT waste a bag. — There was a pigeon walking around inside and no one seemed to care.(I’ve uploaded a photo as proof.)

There are plenty of things I crave in the wee morning hours after a long night on the town(i.e. greasy Mexican food, a soft pillow to rest my weary head, an awesome Shake Weight infomercial), but somehow, I can’t say I’ve ever yearned for an opportunity to bite into a $ 5 Footlong while most of The City is accumulating sleep dust around their tear ducts. Well, it looks like I was alone with my lack of desire for something like this to happen, as the brass at Subway have decided to go after a different market by having their doors open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! I’m not sure how many branches have tested the waters with all-night eats around San Francisco, but with Subway now being a legitimate option to curb the after hours munchies, a delectable Cold Cut Combo doesn’t sound half-bad at a quarter shy of midnight! Of course, any review is just about the same when you’re talking about the place that keeps Jared Fogle’s name relevant, so it’s probably not too helpful for me to discuss the flavor profiles of a bacon avocado melt. Just know that there’s now a relatively guilt-free way to mow down carbohydrates before setting the alarm clock along Fillmore.

Like George A, I never thought I’d find myself reviewing a Subway starting with the fact that I never thought I’d find myself in a Subway. Don’t get me wrong, I am not knocking their fresh baked $ 5 foot longs packed full of college student savings … but you must admit, there’s a reason why Quiznos tastes better. In retrospect, I think if I had taken up Subway more so than Quiznos during my college career, I might have myself a new Macbook Pro by now. But that’s besides the point, onto the Subway! This is a nice Subway run by a Chinese family(??) as all of the employees seemed of Chinese origin and one of them spoke Chinese quite fluently. I congratulate them in running this Subway so late into the night(closes at 11PM on weeknights) when there are lots of people who may be drunk and belligerent hanging around their store. The person on staff was extremely nice, gave me my sandwich exactly how I ordered it and packed it full of goodies til it was stuffed and even gave me extra napkins without me asking. The store is clean, minimalistic in terms of seating, and everything is where you would expect it to be. Great location and very convenient for grabbing a quick bite before or after shows at The Fillmore.

Yep, I’m reviewing a Subway. I used to eat at Subway quite a bit when I lived in AZ(gotta love $ 5 foot-longs, and back in the day when they had the daily 6″ specials). When I moved to SF, Subway fell off my radar though. In the the past couple months I’ve rediscovered it, and have been to this location a few times. Maybe it’s because I have incredibly low standards when it comes to service at fast food places, but this location has always seemed to have quick, friendly service(and I’ve been to some Subways with BAD service!). The«sandwich artists» seem to have the whole bread, meat, veggie, condiments, pay system down pretty well. Even if I walk in here and the line is 4 or 5 people deep, with some people ordering multiple sandwiches I’m usually out the door pretty quickly. Any sandwich that I’ve ever gotten here has tasted fine, and you can’t beat there prices. So why mark this Subway down 1 star? Every time I come in here I ALWAYS ask for pepper-jack cheese, and I’m always told«We don’t have pepper-jack.» Not«we’re OUT of pepper-jack,» but flat out we don’t have it. Any Subway that I’ve ever been to does(and should) have pepper-jack…
