Extreme Pizza – Fillmore District

I came in on ²⁄₁₃ and the man who took my order was touching cash at the register and then he touched my pizza slice without washing his hands between the two steps. I think they ought to up their hygiene standards. That’s very basic hygiene knowledge for this to not be applied. For a close to $ 7 slice, one would think they’d be following top notch stabdards. Disappointed

The pizza is decent– super expensive so just be aware. 1 medium with a soda and beer is $ 41. It’s freezing in the sitting area bc it’s not properly ventilated and the people who work there get hot so they leave the door open and everyone else not working the line is freezing… They need to properly vent their facility. I got Ito a weird conversation with one of the line cooks who said she was too hot to close the doors/​Windows so I should be cold so she is hot– my vote is to go anywhere else or get expensive take out.

I can say only one positive thing about Extreme Pizza Fillmore — their delivery people are really good, polite, usually on time, appreciative of tips. BUT the pizza is often burnt at the edges and overcooked to the point the sauce is dry, and the chicken nuggets are usually totally burnt on the outside, and on multiple occasions they have charged me for a bag when no bag was used. But worst of all: when a mistake is made in the billing, the manager of this store will not fix it, claiming «it’s up to corporate.» «Corporate» is hard to get ahold of, throws a few coupons at you, then considers the problem solved. This is not the way to keep customers, but then I get the impression the only customers they really care about are the large order customers at businesses, because they will call you to tell you your pizza will be late because of those large orders.

The place rocks. It kind of looks like a hole in the wall pizza joint. But it is a chain. This place is some what small with outdoor seating. I came here with friend for dinner. I had a great time here. I would come back here if I were ever in the area again. This pizza place rocks.

Pretty meh pizza place. Female cashier wearing a hat was rude, as was the middle aged dude who brought us our pizza.
The pizza was alright. Just alright. San Francisco has some of the best food on earth, but it ain’t this. You can definitely get better pizza for the price in the area.

The entire experience was overwhelmingly bad.
25 minute wait for a single slice of pizza.
10 minutes in, I was handed someone else’s food. 15 minutes in, and I asked if my order was coming. I see them take my slice (sitting on the top/​side of the oven) and slide it in.
During this wait, not one of the 7+\- employees working managed to clean off any of the four dirty tables inside the restaurant. It was impressive.

I ordered pizza for delivery and wasn’t given a receipt kinda wondering if the delivery guy cheated me on my money …

I went to Extreme pizza on July 29^th, never had a problem with them, I ordered cilantro on my pizza they didn’t put it on. I walked back to Extreme, OMG, I saw the cashier work the register and didn’t WASH his «filthy» hands and proceeded to put cilantro on my pizza.
I guess he thought I wasn’t watching him, very unsanitary! They seriously needs training in handling food and washing their «filthy» hands. You never ever do this, sanitation is everything. I won’t return or refer anybody that I care about, to eat at a place that doesn’t care about cleanness!!!

Pizza is good — took the paia pie (Hawaiian). But what’s that price?!? It’s just pizza, doesn’t deserve to pay 30bucks for it. I would have gone some place else if I knew how much it would cost.
The menu (and price) on Google maps is misleading.

Service is on the level of Neanderthals — no no we don’t know, we don’t do it, you are asking for too much… All I asked was to scoop the bread — take the soft part out. Wow too much for these guys :))
Food is ok, place is dirty, never again…

I’ve had a terrible experience at Extreme — they failed me in a big way.
6÷6÷15 12:53pm, placed online for nine pizzas in the amount of $ 382.26 for scheduled 5:30pm delivery to my home, to feed 27 family members, including a number of senior citizens, before heading out at 7:30p to an 8:00p theater performance.
6÷6÷15 12:59pm, $ 382.26 was charged to my VISA.
6÷6÷15 6:00pm, as the delivery was 30 minutes late (and five hours after they were ordered), I called the store and was told by a female employee that the nine pizzas were just coming out of the over and would leave as the next delivery.
6÷7÷15 7:00p, as the delivery was now 90 minutes late (and six hours hours after they were ordered) I called the store and was told by a male employee that the pizzas were not yet made. He yelled at me and told me they were busy and nothing could be done. He said its possible he could deliver the pizzas in 90 minutes by 8:30p.
My 27 guests, including senior citizens, were suddenly without food before having to attend a three-​hour theatre performance. I had no alternative but to move into crisis mode and find these people food within minutes.
Why did this happen?
The store offered no apology and has not refunded the $ 382.26.
An advanced order is a contract to perform. Extreme failed me.
If you must have their pizza — go there.

*Mr pesto head signature pizza (Indee — 8″, Wheat crust) $ 8.15
*Boneless chicken wings (½ dozen, Spicy buffalo) $ 5.25
*Chicken caesar salad ($ 9.75)
The railroad grade was delish. Came with sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms and onions. It all went very well together. I didn’t care for the pesto pizza. It came with sliced potatoes which were not fully cooked. Added a starchiness and texture I didn’t care for. The rest of the dishes were pretty average.
In all, I’d recommend the railroad grade, but I’d stay away from pesto potato pizza.

Quality and value have really taken a dive here at what used to be a ~ staple pizza goto of mine probably about once ever 3 weeks or so.
Prices are up, there is less ‘ingredients’ and by that I mean if you e/​g/​order a chicken pizza, there’s less chicken, and more ‘cheese drizzle’. ‘
Service’ has gone ‘ghetto’, stubbornly and slow…

Tried this place out before going to the club Origin which is just a couple blocks away. Pizza took about 5 – 7 minutes to get done after my friends and I each ordered a slice, wasn’t too busy but they only have about 4 or 5 tables in this place so there isn’t much moving room when other people start coming in and trying to wait in line to order. We ordered a Veggie slice, Hawaiian and a Pepperoni slice. This is all thin crust pizza and had a decent amount of each topping. I have had plenty of other pizza that was far better than this place, I’m not saying it’s bad, just had better.
They have a bunch of things on the menu so maybe I just need to go back and try out other things. Pizza was extremely hot when it arrived. I had to wait about 4 minutes before I could take a bite without burning my mouth while chewing.

We found this place by accident, we were just walking by and noticed there was a pizza place serving vegan pizza, so I had to stop!
Pizza was great, their pizza chips wit hummus was also great. Staff is friendly, would go back if I lived in the area.

Got to wait ~1.5 hours for the delivery, and they ignored my request to remove the cilantro. Mmmh, soap pizza!
As others have noted recently — AVOID.

With just minutes to go before my evening class, I ordered a slice of «Railroad Grade» to go. My favorite. Under $ 7.
It turned out there were 2 slices in the box!
I ‘m doing flips, just like the guys in the pictures.
