I love the fact that they have gluten free options for the crepes. Even though I wasnt super impressed I would go back! Plus the location is perfect, busy but such a great area in SF.

Sorry to say Squat and Gobble was a disappointment, which has been really rare in my SF food eating experience. Have been there twice hoping the second time that the first time was just an off day… it wasn’t . The food is average and overpriced. Both times we had breakfast that was cold and tasteless. Equally cold was the staff who was very unresponsive to our concerns. There are quite of few alternatives in the Marina, I’d suggest any of them!

What’s up with the Marina’s lunch options? Aside from the Sandwich Spot I’m having a tough time finding good food around here… Squat & Gobble has a very eclectic menu encompassing salads, fresh squeezed juice, burgers, crepes, and wait for it… chinese food. Whenever I come across these places I ask myself, could they make all of those types of foods well? The answer is typically no. In Squat & Gobble’s case, it’s a definite no. I ordered the Mexican Grilled Chicken Salad. The portion was enormous(no wonder America is struggling with obesity). The ingredients themselves also(avocado, cheese, beans, crunchy things, tomatoes, lettuce, chicken) tasted super bland. Can’t say the overpriced menu or the outdated décor added anything either… all very meh. Overall, I do not want to squat, nor will I gobble.

It’s hard to find a great breakfast place in the marina area, but Squat & Gobble was so much better then I expected! It’s got a large menu with everything including omelettes, egg scrambles, crepes, and sandwiches! I ordered the Santa Fe scramble(which comes with a side of toast, and served over potatoes). The portions are quite large and I could have easily split(and it was only $ 13). You order at the counter and then the waiter comes to bring your food. I’d definitely come back again!

After the horrible experience at Delarosa the happy smiling faces at Squat & Gobble give this place 3 solid stars. Food — seafood pasta was ok, the seafood was cooked right, but the sauce was too strong and off balance, bread was hard and inedible Tea was not bad Over all, service is what makes a place and even though these hard working guys make less in tips(since it’s an order up front and wait with a number type place) than guys at a typical restaurant, these guys were warm, welcoming and make the experience. Would go back maybe to try breakfast and enjoy the service. Thank you happy Squat &n Gobble guys :)

This use to be one of my favorite places to eat at in SF but it has gone downhill. I came here for a late lunch with a few of my friends and we were disappointed. I ordered the Asian salad which tasted bland and was pretty watery. Another friend ordered the marina crêpe which she thought was mediocre and one someone else ordered the French onion soup. We left half of our plates untouched. After we had finished up we kept walking by all of the other restaurants in the area and definitely felt restaurant envy. If your in the marina skip S&G and head to one of the other joints. You’ll be glad you did.

Well, we ordered the tropical Nutella crêpe but the berry and banana Nutella crêpe came out instead. Minus a star for wrong order. But we ate it anyway and it was delicious. We ate it outside with tea and coffee. Cute little feeling of A European café. Too noisy inside — louder than chestnut at outside! Go figure. I’d come again for that darn crêpe. Maybe ill try the tropical one next…

Food is average, well-priced and big portions. Staff is friendly, it’s a cozy environment and nice for a quick sit-down meal. Love the kids eat free Monday’s!

Yes please! I took a group of interview candidates for my company here while we were in the area for a scavenger hunt. This place was definitely«WOW» worthy! First of all, service is quick and staff is friendly. Perfect for us, as we were in a rush. Secondly, the options were limitless. Crepes, sandwiches, salads, pasta, stir fries — you name it, they have it. I got the chicken pesto crêpe with salad which was very good and comparable to Crepevine, one of my favorite places for a nice savory crêpe. It was a little bit overpacked with sundries tomatoes in my opinion, but nonetheless delicious. Thank you! Will be back soon!

Came here after drinks with coworkers and it was pretty busy. I have to say rolling in to any place close to their closing time with a fairly large group doesn’t create the best of experiences but Squat & Gobble was not bad and service was pretty quick to boot. Food came out fast and was about what I expected. I had the Reuben and while it’s not the best I’ve had, it definitely hit the spot and being able to gracefully accommodate a large group without any major mishaps is always a plus in my book. Although the Marina kind of has a surplus of excellent sandwich spots, it’s nice to see a decent one open a little bit later. I’ll definitely be back to try more!

Delicious breakfast burrito. So perfect, the right amount of chorizo, avocado, eggs and all the other goodness. The sauce on top was elegant and the tortilla was soft thin and perfect.
