I enjoyed a café latte and egg and cheese croissant. Food was fresh and tasty if you are on the area and looking for good food, no frills, you will be pleasantly surprised.

This is a cafeteria style counter with an open space dining room. Surprisingly, it’s not too noisy, which is great for small or large groups. The outside seating, and floor to ceiling windows make this the perfect spot for a nice daytime lunch. The sandwiches I’ve had have all been super yummy. There’s not much to choose from in the area. Still, prices are fairly reasonable and service is fast and friendly.

$ 11 for a Kobe burger — a side of fries… and they have Orangina! Spiced well, a tad salty here and there, but it def. kicked it up a notch. The sun really hit us hard during our lunch in the atrium, but I was in good company… and happily exploring SFDC’s numerous showrooms, mentally taking note of all items to be filed away as «Wishlist Wants» in the back of my head. Next time, I’ll seek shelter from the sun under the umbrella/shaded tables. Not too shabby… and a convenient pick-me-up for the full DAY you have to mentally psyche yourself up for perusing all of the showrooms. My comrades had the ahi tuna panini, the BLT, and a few other dishes — and there were no complaints. Oh, and for you indoor dog lovers — it’s the one place you can bring your pooch for food indoors — yet still be under the sun. =D

Funny, how I keep revisiting web 1.0. I used to come here back in the day. It is a perfect spot for lunch. Peet’s coffee and ice tea’s. Daily lunch specials, delicious sandwiches and salads. Everything tasted very fresh and flavorful. The staff is nice and efficient. A perfect lunch spot. Dress to impress or at least wear your good shoes. Note to self, bring an extra pair of fluevog heels to keep at my desk.

Sitting in the center of the big open atrium of the SF Design Center, this café reminds me a lot of the kind of restaurants you see at fancy hotels like The Four Seasons and The Peninsula where there is a dining area in the lobby. It is eating on display, in that you want to eat with who ever you are eating with, but at the same time, there is a certain amount of cache to eating there(I guess). In any case, I came here with some co-workers for a post-meeting lunch at 2PM, right before they stop serving food. The menu was all quite tantalizing, with lots of tasty options including salads, sandwiches, and pasta dishes, among other things. There was a decent wine list(for a little lunch café), but I didn’t have any, so no comments there. I ordered the Dungese Crab Cakes which came on a bed of risoto with a squash medley. The crab cakes were made of finely shredded crab meat and were exceptionally tasty. The salads I saw people order, especially the Nicoise, looked looked supper tasty with fresh greens, sashimi tuna, and not too much dressing. Nothing on the menu was more than $ 16, salads were $ 10 – 14. Overall, it was very good. Service was good, food was tasty, and all things considered, the price wasn’t that bad either as a nice® lunch option.

Great place to relax during lunch. Humus plate was good, the wine was better. All your basic wines served by the glass. Wine: $ 8ish per glass Humus plate: $ 7ish
