One More Cup… sounds like an addiction to the pot drink. Pun intended, most definitely! Clarification needed because sometimes my sarcasm gets me into trouble, and it doesn’t help that this is a Unilocal review. Anyways, the famous potted plant drink really is quite addicting – I’m secretly glad it only comes in large. The crumbly oreo and touch of cream underneath are heavenly with milk tea, similar to Sharetea’s indulgent oreo milk tea only more concentrated in oreo. I think it would have been even tastier had they added mint rather than just using a mint leaf garnish for the potted plant look(mint chocolate oreo milk tea??! oh goodness) The milk tea itself is definitely on the sweet side. A friend picked up my drink so it came regular sweetness, which was tasty for a few sips but soon seemed at least as sweet as frappucinos. What plant requires insulin to grow? One More Cup’s potted plant milk tea. On a practical note, the large cups with dome-shaped lids are so huge, a regular size straw sinks in below the lid… epic fail that could have been featured on Buzzfeed. Potted plant drinks have yet to hit the popularity of creamas, and One More Cup is the only place I know so far that serves it. Maybe one day it’ll even be on the Quickly’s menu(or Starbucks?!) but for now One More Cup remains somewhat of a secret. The place in which your Instagram will get a lot of location requests and likes(especially if you make the pot pun).

Do you like hello kitty? Do you like boba? Good popcorn chicken? If so, look no further. Ever since I’ve discovered One More Cup Café, I’ve returned again and again mostly for their popcorn chicken. Their menus are hello kitty themed. So cute! I’m all about cute! I think they have the best popcorn chicken I’ve ever tasted. It’s fried but not overly greasy lightly salted and moist inside with the perfect crunch. I’ve also tasted their«potted plant» which is basically boba milk tea with oreos on top. Pretty standard for boba milk tea. Their space is pretty spacious and their servers and baristas are always attentive. Minus a star for parking which can be a pain. Tip — They only serve their popcorn chicken on Fridays through Sundays which is a bummer.

Hmmm. .. this is a review in process. Seems to me that this location has a GREAT idea and concept, but just needs some work on it’s overall operations. It feels like a few folks had a great idea and decided to open up a café, but didn’t think it all the way through. The drinks are really cool, look great, and taste good. The service was friendly. The biggest issue is that he place still looks like its in the construction phase. I am not quite sure who they are targeting, but it needs to be tidied up a bit if it’s going to move beyond the«new café» feel. I am going to give it another try at some point and hopefully will be able to give it more stars.

The concept of this place is great and all but their drinks do not wow me at all in taste. I love how cute their drinks are, the potted plant milk tea, their special drinks such as the«apologize,» but every single drink that I ordered was a bit too sweet for me. I think there are way too many ingredients for one drink. Also got some egg puffs and I expected it to be crunchy, but it was soft instead. There is a buy two get one free special for drinks going on, but not sure how long it is going to last. The menu for drinks is huge, tons of pictures to accommodate the drinks which gives you an idea of how it is going to turn out, which helps deciding a bit easier. The employee was very nice in recommendations and encouraging me to sit down to decide since the menu was so long. The interior of this place is pretty nice, clean and spacious, but there’s not that many people inside when I was there, felt kinda empty, hopefully their business picks up soon. It’s hard for new boba places to start up and compete with the regulars. But this place has a great concept though!

Had to stop by because the potted plant drinks just looked wayyyy too adorable. I had a potted plant milk tea and a peanut butter and condensed milk sandwich. The milk tea had whipped cream, chocolate crumble, and mint on top. The topping was delicious by itself. Be sure to eat your fill before you start drinking it though, since it’ll sink with the drink and you won’t be able to get at it past a certain point. You can’t really taste the topping when you drink your tea through the straw. The peanut butter and condensed milk sandwich was pretty standard. 2 slices of white bread with condensed milk and peanut butter cut into 2 triangles.

A truly interesting experience. I love the concept of the potted plant drinks, and they certainly look cool, though the taste is average and nothing special. The décor is… interesting. Kind of a hodgepodge mix of hello kitty, a large teddy bear, and random pictures. To me it just looks quickly and cheaply decorated and I think they could do better. The place is almost always completely empty, which is a little strange, but hey if you want some alone time, look no further. Come once for the photo op of the potted plant drink, and judge for yourself if it merits a return visit.

I decided to make a quick stop at this place after being in the area(Sunset) for the day. The café has a nice environment to it as it was fairly spacious and empty during my visit. It seems to be a great place for both family and friends who are looking for a a quick snack or drink. My party ordered 3 drinks as they were offering a «Buy 2 Get 1 Free» promotion for their drinks. We ordered a potted milk tea and two other fruit slushes. Their drinks are served in mason jars or pots, similar to many other dessert places nowadays. The drinks were pretty good, but nothing too special that made it stand out among other cafes. However, it is still a great place to visit as their drinks are worth a try!

«So cute! Aww it’s a potted plant! Oh look, Hello Kitty! Man, it’s everywhere. Look it’s a garden! Wafflesssss. Bobaaaa. Girlfriend!» These are words and phrases you will likely utter or hear as you/others peruse the menu. Lots of creative drink and small snack ideas that will get you thinking — «I need to get a picture of that!» Came here with my boyfriend and our friend and it was perfect! They have a Buy 2 Get 1 Free deal here, so our party of 3 was in the game. Few seating options here. Tables and chairs. Sofa and love seats. Most of the seating is located in the back. We looked through the menu for a good 10 minutes trying to decipher what to get as there were many drink concoctions listed. We opted for the potted plant drinks because who would’ve ever though to add some whipped cream, crumbled Oreos, and a mint leaf on top of a drink? We got our drinks and spent another 10 minutes giving out drinks a photo shoot at the table. Picture of one of them… now side by side… aerial view. I couldn’t take it anymore! I drank my drink. It was delicious. The green milk tea and milk tea options weren’t too sweet and it was a good portion. I ordered mine with grass jelly and it was delish! Will probably come here one day when I’m in the area again to try something else. Maybe the food. Or the MILKTEACHALLENGE = drink a whole pitcher of milk tea on 1 minutes and get two free drinks. Can somebody please record someone doing it? Drink up!

Great place to hang out with friends and enjoy milk tea. *Be Warned: You will be taking a lot of picture of your plant milk tea before you even take 1 sip! Several tables and even couch seating in the back to relax. Came here when it opened at 12 on a Sunday. Service was good despite there being only 1 worker when we entered. She could have been friendlier but it’s okay because I came for the cool Plant Milk Tea. In the back by the couches there is a Milk Tea Challenge flyer that I definitely wanted to try. I asked to see how much I’d have to drink. It was about the size of a small pitcher, which seemed doable but not when they probably put a lot of milk in it. If completed you get 2 Free Milk Teas. I will be back to try this one day… The Jasmine Green Potted Milk Tea was good. It was more sweet than you could taste the tea. The«dirt» oreo and whip cream on the top actually gave it good flavoring. Not sure if I will be back repeatedly for the milk tea here, but really do like the idea and concept.

This place is too cute ! Everything from the décor to the name of their drinks are just so adorable. We walked in after lunch, right when they opened and it was pretty empty. One more cup is located on a street corner that is on the same side as a Christian preschool and kumon. Upon walking in, I quickly realized that the only worker there could’ve been friendlier but there was a bit of a language barrier so maybe that’s why? As soon as we got our drinks, she kindly told us that we get one more drink for free and kept coming back to our table to ask if we had decided yet. I felt rushed but appreciated our free drink :) I don’t think you can go wrong with milk tea with boba so I chose to get the potted milk tea with boba. It was not too sweet nor too overpowered by the tea taste. Definitely a must try! My bf got the yogurt drink that had grass jelly. I was able to take a sip and it was pretty good! Nothing I’ve ever tried before so that was cool. For our free drink, we chose the mango cream soda. It was light and refreshing ! We will be back when we’re in town again to try more things.

I ordered a White Mocha Plotted Planted Tea and I am loving the Oreo crumbs, though i made a mess on the table… The white mocha was a bit too sweet to my liking and felt like it was a bit too pricey for the size it came in. The atmosphere felt a bit messy… in the sense that they do not seem to have a common style except for the fact that there are Owls everywhere. One corner may be cushions and couches which has a relaxing western feel, while one side is just tables and chairs that felt more like an outside sunny environment. Overall, it’s a great place to just sit and chat. There are usually no lines so if you are in a rush or just hate waiting, this would be a good place. And also… they have weird names for their drinks. Pretty interesting.

Hello Kitty Shaped Dessert(for the hello kitty lovers)! Too adorable for words. I’ve only been here once and my friend and I tried the hello kitty bathtub, the hello kitty dragon boat, the potted green milk tea(my friend said it kinda tasted like teaway gmt) and a few other snacks. I will say the hello kitty sugar cookies were okay, but hey, I don’t expect them to be like Mrs. Fields. Overall, the servers are super nice and the store ambiances and décor was simple and cute. I will come back to try their other colorful drinks!

Not my favorite boba place. I love the idea of their potted plant boba! So cute! And the«dirt»(oreo) is super tasty! I wish there was more of it! The boba itself was pretty good, just regulra boba. They don’t have very many flavors though, just the basics!(But no taro! :() The restaurant is pretty clean exceppt for their cups. Be careful because there was lipstick on my cup form the previous person! Make me think about what else was on the other dishes… And I’m not sure why we were eating with baby utensils… It’s cute yes, but not very functional. The food was. okay. We had rice noodles with sauce(hoisin and peanut I think) and some egg puffs with ice cream and fruit. The egg puffs were bomb but the noodles were so overwhelmingly salty. It needs a tang I think. Their fryer was down. So I’ll have to go back. An maybe I’ll give them another star. The workers are super sweet. It’s family owned and run.

I went on a Sat night and there was only a waitress and the chef. Got seated and some teenagers were screaming. Boy the sound was piercing to my ears!!! Turns out that one of their friends were doing the Milk tea challenge– drink a huge bottle of milk tea($ 7) in one minute and prize is two free drinks. The guy won the challenge but rushed outside and puked shortly. I came here for the plotted plant dessert with fence-like waffle but didn’t see it on the menu, so asked the waitress. She didn’t know but asked the chef to find out. Said it’ll take 15min, had four scoops of ice cream, cost $ 10 and suggested the one on the menu which was one scoop ice cream in a cup that cost $ 2.5. Seriously? If I had wanted that one I would have ordered it in the first place right? Perhaps she thought I wasn’t sure what I wanted. So ordered the four scoop one, but waitress didn’t ask or tell what ice cream flavors It included. At that point I didn’t care. Saw Unilocalers got chocolate, which I’m fine with. The dessert came in 15min and it looked very cute. Was surprised because it was green tea ice cream inside, not chocolate. I’m not a big fan of green tea ice cream, but I don’t hate it. I liked the waffle-like thing which was chocolate flavor(not original flavor as on Unilocal photos), so the ice cream being green tea would make sense otherwise it would be too chocolatey. It was big, perfect for 3 – 4 people to share. So of course the two of us couldn’t finish it and we asked for a box to take the rest home. Chef was nice and gave us a plastic container but told us that it would melt. Umm… we knew that, but we live reeeeally close by! We also ordered a strawberry soda($ 5) that was very cute and pink, tasted like candy, refreshing. Corner dessert place, run by youngsters. Cute Hello Kitty menus and plant desserts and drinks, but over priced and service is a bit strange.

–potted plant ice cream: they don’t serve the one with the cookie fence anymore. When I went I couldn’t find it on the menu and our server said they took it off, but they still had some leftover to get rid of, so they still made it. So if you want it, just show a photo and ask if they still have them. Pretty big and enough for 3 people! –potted milk tea /jasmine green milk tea: both had really strong flavor and the texture is really creamy, so into these! — service: the servers were really nice to us here, there was only us and one other group of people(we went at like 10pm) so they were attentive and didn’t take long to seat us/get our food out. Also, this place is CASHONLY! Atmosphere-super kawaii, this place is colorful and cute, and it’s nice to hangout with friends(kind of awkward how there’s signs everywhere that say«two hr seating limit,» though). Driving to find this place was weird because I’m not familiar with the area and we were in a residential area and then out of no where, the café appears.

Food/drinks: Tried the potted plant milk tea, jasmine green tea, and curry fish balls(7 pcs). The potted plant drink has a very sweet and creamy taste where you can barely taste the tea. It has mint leaves, chocolate/oreo powder, and cream(marshmallow taste) on top of the milk tea. Make sure to stir it first! I liked this drink, but that’s because I like sweet and creamy drinks. They also serve you water in small cute colorful cups! Prices: $ 4.25 for potted plant milk tea, which is quite high for milk tea. Service: Had to ask for the wi-fi since I didn’t see it posted anywhere. It runs pretty fast. There’s 2 networks with a similar name but they used«OneMoreCupCafe» with their pw as «123456789.» Seems like it could be a good study spot too, but they have signs that says you’re only allowed to sit here for 2hr max. Also, they gave us the wrong change back and were missing $.40. And they’re cash only. Atmosphere: Cute colorful café that reminds me of cafes in Asia. Location is at the corner of 28th& Judah and is close to Golden Gate Park.

Bad juju, I tell you! This place and location has bad juju(urban dictionary: haunted by a bad vibe or aura). No lie. This place has changed owners and names like changing underwear. From Let’s Cupcake to Dessert Papa then Scrumptious Delights and now One More Cup Café. It must be a sign why all those previous business before OMCC went out of business … right? Honestly, I had low expectations before coming here. With the food and drinks experiences I had at this location before OMCC came into business was pretty bad. I’m the typical girl who needs to jump on to the new restaurant bandwagon that serves foods and drinks that are cute and picture worthy for Instagram. So I just had to come here … What drew me in was the Hello Kitty boat desserts. Sadly, the Hello Kitty looked cuter than it tastes. The cookie was hard to the point where it was inedible. Most of the boat was filled with whipped cream so I had to scoop all of the whipped cream to get to the ice cream. I think I was given the wrong flavor of ice cream too. And I had no idea what flavor it was, but ice cream is ice cream, right? Never turn down ice cream! Anyway, the boat dessert also had 2 strawberry cream pocky sticks. Definitely can’t go wrong with pocky sticks. I think pocky sticks were the only thing I enjoyed about the dessert. Purely disappointed. From all the previous businesses at this location I have visited. I believe One More Cup Café might be the worse one of all with their service. The service was terrible. Maybe because it was overly crowded. The crowd consisted of mostly high school kids. The waiter/waitresses messed up my order, gave me the wrong ice cream flavor as well seated me and my boyfriend against the wall near a compartment looking case that had stale bananas peels(disgusting)!!! As well, I had to wait for half an hour to 45 minutes for my little Hello Kitty boat dessert. Like seriously, how long does it take to scoop a single ice cream, squeeze out some whipped cream and put an already made Hello Kitty cookie as the finishing touch. I don’t think it takes an half an hour to do that! No more, one more cup café. Great ideas, but bad execution and terrible service.

Am I the only one who thinks this place isn’t up to par? This place reminds me of the previous place that was here, Dessert Papa. Great service, but food wasn’t. Egg puffs are horrible. They’ve got a bready center, like I was eating bread instead of a puff. Lots of drink items but they were horribly sweet. Extra star only for the cute tea sets and cute creative drink ideas, like the potted plant milk teas.

From SoCal to NorCal, potted plant milk tea has finally trickled up here to the SF area. Once I found out, I tried to keep it a secret because I knew once I let out the secret… Everyone will start crowding up and it will become another Instagram flood. But rumors are like forest fire… It spreads quick and fast!!! Cute décor, great friendly staff! To be honest though I understand it’s a new place so quality will not be GREAT yet! I thought the drinks were OK. I came just to get a good Instagram picture, sue me: p. Potted plant milk tea: $ 4.50. It looks like a «potted plant» on top of the milk tea! Basically Oreo bits on top with a basil sticking out like a pot of plant. They put too much ice so it tastes a little watered down. Decent, but just #instagramworthy. I know, you’re probably thinking, «ugh kids nowadays» Love at First Sight: $ 4.25. Mango green tea with soda. I probably like the taste of this drink more! It was very refreshing and tasted delicious with the creama on top and an orange on the side. Looks great and tastes great! Next time I would probably ask for less ice, because same problem of too much ice! The secret let out way too fast! All my friends instantly went here right after I posted on Instagram even when I left out the location!!!:p oh well, secrets can’t be kept long I guess! I just hope it won’t get super crowded!!! Been eyeing the simple love since I sat down, but will come back to try for sure! Update 7÷3÷14: Took my pmom and pdad and psis here today! Simple Love of Berries $ 4.50: strawberry green tea with soda and creama. A delicious mesh that tasted a little like strawberry shortcake with a refreshing kick. Potted Plant Dessert $ 9.75: pretty much waffles as the«fence» oreos as the«dirt» basil as the plant and strawberry in the middle. pretty simple dessert with the creative look. BTW… Straws are too short for their bigger glass! It always drowns in creama. ***CASHONLY*** ***free wifi***

After finding this place on Unilocal,I was so eager to try this cute café with cute looking drinks! One thing different about this place is that they have a server! Most boba places are order-at-the-counter. So I guess I enjoyed that part of it because it made my experience here different than at other places. My friend and I ordered the Potted Plant milk tea and Love at First Sight. Potted Plant: while it looks cool and cute, it just tasted like powdered milk tea! yuck! not to mention, little overpriced. I wouldn’t recommend getting this unless you wanna take a picture of it for your instagram and look cool haha. Love at First Sight: okay, this is a different story. I have ordered boba with this drink. This drink is very refreshing and frizzy. I would recommend getting this one, if you want to try something new. This place has a lot of potential though, I would probably bring my friends here and try some of the snacks. Hopefully update my review next year! For the business, I like your concept. Please, invest more in your looks and decors at the place. Right now, the surrounding is not as cute as the snacks and drinks. I think it can be a huge hit, if the whole place looks cute and awesome!
