All that I can say about this place it’s the beautiful view. Definitely not satisfied with the overpriced food. Bubba gum had a long wait and we were starving, I should’ve waited :/

Was fairly empty for dinner time on the wharf, where everywhere else was an hour wait. Crappy service, mediocre pizza, don’t bother unless starved!

Great food and location. The scenery from the restaurant was amazing and we saw a seal swimming by the boats. Customer service wasn’t as good. Our waiter was rushing, even running at one point across the room. The place wasn’t that busy to even say that you were doing a lot to consider running. Few time she bummed into customers. She forgot our plates, utensils and napkins. The pizza we ordered was perfect enough for me to forget the terrible service. And once I was full and happy I realized our waiter might have been very rushed but she was nice to us the whole time too. Very mixed emotions about this place. But good pizza for sure.

If you go to this place, leave a tip or expect to be questioned why you’re not leaving a tip even though it is completely optional. The view from this restaurant is pretty nice, the food was good but nothing special for the price and location. The waiter(didn’t get his name) was nice, he checked on our table, brought us refills, etc. I was with my cousin and I told her I would take care of the tab & tips. I paid the total $ 40.40 with my card and I was planning on giving a tip with cash. I just signed the receipt without writing a total on it and gave it back to the waiter. My cousin had my purse on her side of the booth so I was scooting to the end of my seat to get my purse but as soon as the waiter saw the receipt I signed, he came back to our booth and he told me I didn’t tip him as if I hadn’t noticed. He wasn’t rude about it but he looked annoyed. At this point, I wasn’t planning on leaving a tip anymore. I have never been questioned or felt forced to leave a tip before. I looked at my cousin because I didn’t know how to react, is this guy seriously asking for a tip. I look back at him and I take the receipt from his hand, I tell him I’m going to write the total. I write down $ 40.40 and give it back to him. Then he says, «you’re not going to tip me?» I say no, then he asks«why aren’t you going to tip me, do you not like the food or my customer service, I’m just wondering» the guy was loud so everyone near us could hear what was going on. I don’t know if he was trying to pressure me into leaving a tip or if he was trying to embarrass me in front of other people but I wasn’t intimidated by him. I told him the food was good and I always tip but I didn’t feel like tipping him after that attitude he gave me. I really don’t like confrontation, I was still shocked that he was asking so many questions, I really just wanted to get out of there. I wonder if he questions everyone who doesn’t leave a tip, I honestly would have left him a $ 10 tip because that’s all I had in cash so he missed out.

I can’t even give this place a star because it doesn’t deserve not a single one. We walked in there expecting to get greeted by the host. No one ever came to us we walked up to the bartender and asked if we seat ourselves, a worker approached us and asked us a table for how many and we replied with three and she just said pick any table you want and walked away. We waited for fifteen minutes with no one ever coming to our table. I looked around the employees were mingling with each other. I noticed other customers looking disgruntled. We got up and left after a while. Would have liked to try the food but it was just not meant to be. Go try Wipe OUT instead.

Was a little skeptical about this place when we walked in but figured to give it a try… after waiting 10min for someone to finally approach the hostess desk we were seated. We then were greated by Omar with a nice smile and very polite. He attended us well and nailed our order down. Overall pricing of the food is expensive for the taste but after all it is on the pier. Nice spot to get some pizza wings and cheesesticks

This pizza was very close to Digiorno. Save yourself the money if you want that. Do not go here if you want a true pizza. The hostess was not at the hostess stand and a manager had to seat us. The worse is food splattered on the walls and ceiling you can look at if you want a window seat. The place was 1⁄8 full at 7:00 on a Saturday night. Should have been a sign. We tried it anyway and were absolutely disappointed. Never again yuk Would have given zero except for manager, who tried to do it all.

Good pizza. Good view. Good service. We ordered the penne pesto and the Luigis favorite pizza, and we’re satisfied with both! It is a slow night, so we were seated right away and got fast service. The table is all carved up with people’s initials and hearts, it is a pretty low key joint but overall a nice place to eat on the pier.

I ate here a few times due to other restaurants are packed and is an hour or more wait(not happening!) Place is huge, seating for over 80 persons but is never filled 80%; with old style booth and tables; service was 50/50, didn’t care to smile, came to check on my table once and only half asked and walked away; food was good but not great, it was flavorable but nothing I can’t make at home. Price is a bit higher than most place but it’s the pier. Just not impressed with them. Was feeling hungry today, so I called in to order, phone rang around 5 times before I hung up, called again 3 mins later and they hung up on me. Wow.

The food was delicious, but its the staff thats the problem with this resteraunt. My family and i were not greeted when walking in, just stared at by a member of the staff until she eventually said«just pick a seat» Once seated, besides giving us our food or taking our order, we werent once checked on. Then when given the reciept for the bill there was no «thanks have a good day» or anything she just handed the bill over and walked away.

Took forever, the pizza was straight up trash, and all the nice window seats were taken. Take a brisk walk to an outhouse and lick the seat. Then you might appreciate this pizza. As somebody who is not from the area, I don’t know what people around there do for food. Especially not this place.

This is a quick little lunch place. Food was pretty good. My boyfriend and I ordered the pesto bacon and some mozzarella sticks. The pizza was good — a bit salty. But it had the most buttery crust ever, which was great. The service was great. And the food came out quick. But it was pretty hot inside. We were in a booth so we opened a window, but it did little to help the heat. Overall, was a positive experience. Although, heads up, this places seems a bit overpriced. Bill came out to almost 50 dollars for a medium pizza and drinks for two people.

There were swarms of tourists at Pier 39 during lunch time and we wanted to escape. Luigi’s Pizza was on the second floor of the plaza away from the hubbub so that’s where we went for a bite to eat. We were seated in a booth that overlooked the bay. Below, a sea lion was sunning itself on the pier and the open window let us enjoy periodic sea breezes. Almost every other table in the place was occupied; many had been pushed together to accommodate large groups. I got the impression that the other diners were all tourists too. Everyone in our party ordered six slice individual pizzas with our favorite toppings. Cheese for the picky eater, artichokes/olives/peppers for the veggie lover, ground beef/chicken for the meat lover and chicken/spinach/feta for me. We all appreciated being able to get exactly what we wanted. The toppings were generous with decent coverage of cheese, meats and veggies across the pie. But the sauce was flavorless and the crust tasted like an unsalted top saltine cracker. It wasn’t thin crust but it wasn’t thick enough to be deep dish either. If you’re in Pier 39 and don’t want to leave for lunch, you can find pizza at Luigi’s. Nothing to write home about but it gets the job done.

3.5 stars. Due to it’s location at Pier 39 w/a nice view, it’s a little overpriced, but the food wasn’t too bad. We had a Luigi’s Favorite pizza and the tortellini. Yes, this $ 50 dinner beat the taste of our $ 130 dinner from the previous night at this fanicer restaurant by a landslide in the same area. I loved the seating arragement of the place. People aren’t sitting on top of each other and we had just as good if not a better view than last night’s restuarant. It’s a nice, casual place. The food isn’t spectacular, but it tastes good enough to say you’ve had a good meal. Again, could have been about $ 10 – 15 cheaper. My small-sized pizza alone was $ 18. That’s what I pay for a large, gourmet pizza at Round Table, which by the way, tastes awesome.
