I thoroughly enjoyed working with Bryn! From the first introductory phone conversation to the home visit where she evaluated my wardrobe, she was professional and a pleasure to work with. While shopping, she was creative and yet super efficient which was appreciated due to my hectic schedule.
Having someone so talented and so objective was definitely appreciated. I would recommend here in an instant!

The Re-​Stylist, aka Bryn Taylor, is just great. I had lost my style for years («Style? Style? Where did you go?») and in working with her, some creativity is re-​emerging. The closet cleanse and re-​organization she does are necessary to make way for the new ideas.
I feel like I should mention in her shopping tips, she doesn’t make you feel like you have to go to expensive places, and offered several shopping tips for more affordable, yet well-​stocked, retailers.

Bryn is great! As an attorney, I want to look professional but stylish. Bryn was able to look through my closet and help find outfits that fit the mold. She was firm in telling me what things she thought I should keep, but was also very nice as well. Some of the outfits I never would have thought to put together. Moreover, I have gotten so many compliments from the outfits… things that were already in my closet! I have already recommended her to others!

So many of us struggle with how to look professional while still maintaining a sense of personal style. Bryn is great at showing you how to build your wardrobe with flattering staple pieces, where to add in color, pattern and accessories, and pull looks together.
Bryn is a joy to work with and instantly puts you at ease. She has a great eye and is super professional. Highly recommended!

Bryn helped me find my wedding dress after I got nowhere fast on my own. She listened to everything I said very attentively, and made incredibly helpful selections and suggestions that met all of my requirements picked several dresses that were beautiful and flattering. I bought the second dress she picked out, which was perfect.
Bryn made me feel really comfortable and it almost felt like I was shopping with a very well informed, fashion forward friend. I would recommend Bryn’s services to anyone — for a special event or to spruce up your closet.

I really enjoyed working with Bryn. She helped me clean out my closet and get rid of stuff that didn’t flatter my body. She gave me great ideas on how to combine items in new ways and created a list of essentials I needed to buy. Best of all, after the session, she created a packet with pictures of outfits and links to items that would complement them.
Her service is a bit expensive but I feel it was totally worth it. I’m definitely dressing more professionally at work now.

I absolutely loved my experience working with Bryn. Not only did she help me revamp my style, she helped me focus my wardrobe and taught me how to properly dress myself for a variety of occasions. Best of all, she was friendly, totally fun, and honest :)
Bryn came to my home from about 6 to 10:30pm — and went through every item of clothing, every pair of shoes, every handbag, and all my jewelry. She explained what was good and bad and why. We agreed on what should be kept and what should be donated. She made dozens of new outfits from the clothes I already had, and paired them with jewelry and shoes. She took photos of each outfit and made a list of items that were missing from my wardrobe that I should try to buy.
Bryn and I met a week later for about 3 hours of shopping where we bought many of the items that were missing from my wardrobe. We hit all the great stores in Westfield (she had even gone in advance to pull items for me to try on!). She was respectful of my style and budget, and I managed to buy a ton of stuff that I LOVE.
I learned so much from Bryn. She explained fit, color, and combinations and I now feel so much more comfortable trying new looks.
Seriously — this is a great business and I recommend Bryn to anyone!

I had been saying for months (years?) that I needed to clean out my closets and get rid of a ton of stuff, but I hadn’t motivated. Funny how cleaning out your closets seems to take a back seat to all of the other fun stuff that San Francisco has to offer, eh?
Well, when I saw a deal for Bryn’s closet-​cleaning and styling services on Gilt City, I figured that was just the motivation I needed, so I set the date. And I have to say, it was actually kind of fun! Bryn is so nice and friendly, and she instantly made me feel comfortable. First she talks with you about what your goals are for the session (make more room in my closets, get rid of outdated stuff, find new things to pair together, etc.), and then she takes you through each item in your closet one by one. You have the opportunity to admit that an item should probably go, before she lets you know that it looks like something a 14-​year-​old would be wearing (in a much more tactful way, of course), or to defend an item that really looks better on, in which case she has you try it on to make the call.
Even though this was something that I had originally thought a friend could help me with for free, it really is better to have someone you don’t know do it, since she can look at everything with a totally objective eye. And I definitely felt as though the cost was worth it – not only was the 4-​hour session itself a huge help (my closets feel so much lighter and more manageable, and Bryn gave me new ideas for what to pair with what, and which key items I was missing), but it will have lasting effects, helping me to look at the rest of my belongings with the same eye, and to make better purchasing decisions in the first place.
