Wow. Dinner here is right on! Had the steak, just the perfect mix of meat and fat, sliced with an awesome pile of onion rings and nice greens to boot. The girlie had yellowfin tuna with clear pasta, had a taste and exquisite. Now going backward the bacon wrapped dates must, must be had. And hydrate with Verdejo Rey Santo! Great spot, service top notch, plenty of vibe and ambiance to go with it all!

Food was good, had the Bavette steak, more chewy than your filets, rib eyes, but prepared very well. service was spot on, I would eat here again!

Today’s brunch was by far one of the best I’ve had in a long time. I had the Huevos Rancheros. Crispy tortilla, black beans, perfect sunnyside up eggs with a bright tomatillo sauce and a smokey chipotle salsa. Our service was great. I will definitely go back.

I have to say that if you don’t like good food and friendly service, then this is not the place for you. We started off with the fantastic bacon-wrapped dates. Must have more. Then I moved into the tomato soup. Again, want more. The main course was a perfectly cooked steak. This whole night was a last minute thought. Thank goodness for the last minute because the foods was fantastic and this place will be moving to the top of the«Where should we go» list.

I’ve looked at this place a hundred times and then would always choose somewhere else to go — even picked Applebee’s over this place. So Happy I finally pulled the trigger to a great experience. I went in with 2 friends — we’re ‘big’ guys so he gave us a choice to sit in the main restaurant(very warm) or a 4 top in the atrium. Jay was working the entire room the Monday after Christmas and it was probably busier than they thought it was going to be — yet — the service was seamless. I’ve worked at several very expensive restaurants in my 20/30s and there’s nothing like great service from a guy that’s intellectual, knowledgeable, and funny. We brought some wine with us and also partook in some whites by the glass. They have a nice selection. We shared the Mussels to start and they were excellent. This is my go to for a starter and they did it really well. So well that you want to dredge your bread in the broth. We also had the bacon wrapped dates — Outstanding. I would not have tried them without the push from our waiter. Spot on. 1 guy had the Steak which was tender and well seasoned. Another guy had the Fish of the day, I think it was Halibut — more so I remember it was very good, perfectly cooked. I had the Duck Leg Confit with spaetzle dumplings, and bacon with a grain mustard sauce. Absolutely perfect tender meat, fall off of the bone. Surprising to me is the leg doesn’t seem that large but a whole lot of meat came off of the leg. Then we finished with some Bread pudding — Outstanding meal. A must for a Revisit! The main dining room was intimate and had a romantic ambience.

Went to Pullman Kitchen for brunch– best eggs benedict I’ve ever had Can’t wait to try this place for dinner. Wish they were on my side of the hill-live in Calistoga. Napa Valley is loaded with overpriced — overrated restaurants. This rare gem has excellent food at a reasonable price point.

Went there on recommendation by my friends who both work in local restaurants and I mm n surprised if never been here! We cam round 4 and we’re the n only people there. Nevertheless the server was perfect. I Ordered the croque de madame which I had never tried before and lemme tell u it was DELICIOUS! Best sunny side up egg I’ve had and the rest ws just right. Tried a Bacon Wrapped Date first. And wow. I’ll never forget them… I’m ONLY giving 4 stars instead o f 5 because the beer selection was pretty poor and define try overpriced and my two friends who ordered med rare burgers got noo pink at all. BRUNCHRECOMMENDEDDEFINITELYTHO!

The Pullman Kitchen definitely worths five stars!!! Everything was very good. The service was great. A delightful experience. I definitely would go there again! For starters, we ordered the soup of the day, mixed green salad, and bacon wrapped dates. The soup was pumpkin butternut squash with curry scent. It’s not too creamy, and it was a wonderful taste for a cold winter. The salad was very light, and I liked the sauce. The bacon wrapped dates which was a wonderful combination of sweet and savory was crispy outside and soft inside. Btw the bread was also really good, crunchy outside, soft inside and not dry. I loved the olive oil dip very much! For the main dish, we ordered the roasted chicken with Parmesan spinach pancakes, the steak, and today’s fish. The chicken was incredibly delicious!!! The chicken had crispy surface but wasn’t greasy and the meat was very juicy. The pancakes were creative and savory. It definite in my top three main dishes. The steak was juicy and the side dish onion rings was damn good!!! The fish was very fresh and moist. For dessert, I ordered the chocolate chip and peanut butter ice cream with cinnamon cookies. The best peanut butter ice cream that I have ever had. It was a addictive dessert. If you come to Santa Rosa, you must try this out.

I came here for a birthday dinner and party of 7. Our table was large and pretty comfortable. The chairs aren’t the most comfy but that’s okay. I liked the ambiance of the place. We were given a couple wine lists and ordered some bottles/glasses. I liked the selection and was having a hard time deciding because there were so many good options. We tried the bacon wrapped dates(delicious!), fried green tomatoes(good!), and the brussels sprouts(suppperrr tasty!). For dinner I had the braised lamb and ate every single bite. Dessert was all their ice creams, which were all so amazing, especially the pumpkin. Everyone at the table enjoyed their food and we all had a good time. Our server was friendly, fast, and on it. We definitely thought she did a good job. I will be back. Only sad thing was that the place was pretty dang quiet for a Thursday night. I hope more people visit here!

I was soooooo excited to try this place since the reviews were great and it was my Mom’s 76th birthday. We had very mixed reviews in our party. The fish tacos, burger and BLT were great, but the dishes that included poached eggs, were not. All 6 poached eggs were soft boiled, not poached, no run to the yolk at all. My mom requested two new ones and they were better, but took quite a bit of time to come back and no apology or comment from the waiter. Our waiter seemed hung over or something? Wait service was slow, though there were only about 20 people dining. We requested salt and pepper, but it never came, sorry but the food was unseasoned, especially the potatoes… I know we’re not supposed to ask for salt, but thats assuming the dish is well seasoned. The strip steak was chewy and the chicken Cobb salad came with turkey instead of chicken. Really, 3 days after thanksgiving and still serving turkey? The waiter did make a note of it. No offer of ground pepper and the lettuce didn’t seem to be prepared, was just thrown in the bowl, actually had to cut it. Bloody Mary’s were good. I guess we just caught them on an off day after a busy weekend. Oh and somebody should check the public restoom, it is gross. Overall was expecting alot more out of this culinary team. Good menu concepts, but not well excuquted.

I’m just updating this now that we’ve also been here for lunch, which confirms the 5-star review. Lunch here is excellent. We’ve had the glazed, bacon-wrapped dates, which are phenomenal, a nice mixture of smoky, crisp bacon, chewy date, and citrus glaze. The chicken paillard with Greek salad on it and the fish tacos are also simply excellent. Ingredients are high quality and fresh and excecution spot-on with an excellent ratio of each ingredient. They have some nice soft-drink alternatives such as slightly sweet cucumber soda and earl grey iced tea.

This is a 3.5 star restaurant for me but I averaged up because there is good talent in the kitchen and the quality of ingredients are such that I can see them getting there with a bit more consistency. I have two items of constructive criticism to share. (1) The menu lacks cohesion. (2) About a third of the dishes I’ve tried are under seasoned. This is a small restaurant and the dishes are a touch more expensive than I would like but once the above gets worked out I would be a regular diner without pause.

Dynamite time at The Pullman Kitchen last weekend. We were tired after driving from Tahoe in the morning, were seated right away at 7:30PM on Saturday night, very sharp energetic waitress and service, chef’s were right on, place looked good. It’s great when a restaurant has confidence in it’s identity and projects it in the graphics, décor, food, menus, staff. Architecturally a simple but interesting space with open kitchen, a corner restaurant with nice views out to the street in what looks like a transitional neighborhood much like our own Temescal in Oakland now in 2015. Inside everything is good tight: prompt service, plates, glasses and silverware clean, food to match. Had the duck special which was superb: duck is first braised, then coated and deep fried with a thin crisp veneer of crust and I think, cornmeal or something similar. Just as good were the fixin’s: garlic mashed potatoes creamy, garlicky, the best rendition I’ve ever had and one of the best sides along with the polenta at the Carmel Valley Ranch; haricots verte perfectly blanched and sauteed — my kind of meal. All started with a mixed green salad with a sublime oil and vinegar overcoat. Started with a great beer(forgot the name) then had a nice glass of Pinot(again didn’t catch the name). A little noisy and hard, could use some sound deadening, and wife didn’t like that the bathrooms were in the adjacent mall. Otherwise a great experience.

Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Cleanliness: 5 Fives across the board! Even their brioche toast with white cherry mostarda was off the charts. We researched brunch restaurants for at least half an hour and stumbled upon Pullman Kitchen, which neither one of us had dined. Both of us had the specials of the day– on a late Sunday Afternoon right before they closed around 2:30pm(they close at 3pm then). She had the ham and cheese(I believe it was Gruyère) sandwich on brioche French toast. It looked incredible, served with a side of strawberries and maple syrup and enough for 1 – 2 people. I had a bite or two, it was sweet and savory– the perfect blend. Yum! I had their egg frittata special that came with spinach, sun-dried tomatoes and feta. Oh my goodness! So flavorful, and cooked to an ideal texture of softness with a lightly browned edge. Great proportion for one and delicious up until the last bite. The restaurant is in a little indoor shopping center and has both an entrance from the interior hall and from the street. It’s on 5th street, but on the other side of the freeway in comparison to downtown. This restaurant was immaculate with an edgy and crisp décor. The staff was helpful and timely– and accommodating to any and all modifications and requests. I want to go back to Pullman Kitchen! So good we were considering going back for dinner… That same day. But the built up anticipation can be just as good– and make it all that much better once we make it back! Yea! Can’t wait.

We have been here a few times in the past year and each dinner has been excellent. Chef McRonald and his staff continue to update the menu with fresh ingredients in tune with the season. Last night was another delicious meal. We started and shared the Bacon Wrapped Dates with paprika, honey & lemon. Could have had three orders of these, really good and the sauce adds another layer of flavor. Also had the Baby Mixed Greens salad which contained pixie mandarins, almonds, fennel, olives, ricotta salata & lemon oil. Perfectly dressed and enough for two to share. Entrees were excellent. I had the Pullman Roasted Chicken again and again it was perfect. Crispy on the outside, juicy and tender inside. Plenty of pan gravy and two large spinach and parmesan pancakes which are very tasty and are a perfect match with the chicken. DW had the fish special which was outstanding. A large slab of fresh pan seared halibut sat on top of a fresh medley of veggies(carrots, peas, turnips, radishes etc) from the Sebastopol’s Giving Garden Project. Also came with a dollop of aioli which was pushed aside to let the flavors of the halibut and veggies shine. Pretty full at this point but decided to share the Pineapple Crisp with homemade vanilla ice cream & caramel and glad we did as the fresh pineapple was a nice change from the usual apple. Service from Mary and the staff was perfect, both food and wine. We brought a bottle of Ceritas Pinot Noir which paired very well with the chicken and fish. Pullman just started a Tuesday night«all you can eat paella» which we were told has been very popular. We will certainly get there soon to try it!

I would give this place more than 5 stars if I could. We came in for a living social deal and found this hidden gem in old town Santa Rosa Eggs Benny on brioche = amaaaazing. Crisp bread, perfect hollandaise, and egg poached wonderfully Sausage special with homemade biscuits and sautéed kale = slightly spicy, flaky biscuits and a hint of ginger in the sausage patty Our deal came with a glass of sparkling cava wine and Bloody Mary. Great accompaniment to our brunch Cannot wait for the next time someone asks where they should go for brunch. I definitely have my answer !
