I am typically a big fan of this place. However, I ordered my burrito last night to dine in and the tortilla was cold to the touch, the cheese inside was not melted at all and the meat was barely warm. I politely told the very nice lady at the front counter who quickly asked the cook to remake the burrito. The attitude of the cook was a joke. After rolling his eyes and telling me it is cold because the sour cream is cold I explained that I was a fan of the food and was only passing along honest criticism. He begrudgingly remade the burrito. The front counter worker, who was obviously embarrassed by a cooks actions could not have been nicer. Bad experience from a typically great place

This is my go to place for a veggie or regular carnitas burrito! Occasionally, I eat in but most often I get the food to go after a long day of toiling in the lab and classroom, especially if I cycled to SSU and back. I have been coming here for 8 years and never been disappointed because the staff is very friendly and I get what I expect. I guess I would say this i where I get my comfort food! Oh! I always call my order in so I can get my order in the cue because the place is busy. Plus, if I teach a late night class, I can pick dinner up on the way there or home.

The food is pretty good. My wife and I both enjoy the super burritos with the shredded chicken. The service is fast and friendly. The atmosphere is alright, but we usually prefer to take it home. We come here often and it’s one of our regular places for Mexican food.

I’m not really into Mexican food, but the fish tacos are soooo good. My husband likes the steak tacos, which I find so-so. I don’t know anything about the rest of the food, but the burritos look yummy although I never had them. A couple of times, the fish had a bit of a bleach taste, but I keep coming back because that’s 2 out of about 30 times. The salsa is outstanding.

«The Taqueria» is decent. I’ve had the grilled chicken burrito twice. I ordered it the second time because I couldn’t believe it could be as bad as the first time I had it. Yep, it was as inedible as I remember. The only reason I ate it was because I paid for it. The next time I wanted the chile verde burrito. Nope. Out of chile verde at 5p. I went with the regular chicken(aka shredded) burrito. It was actually pretty decent. As I write this review, I’ve been waiting THIRTY minutes for 2 burritos. Waaaay too long for a «decent» burrito. I’m kinda under the impression the people here really don’t have their shit together. If I wasn’t so lazy, I’d drive the extra 10 minutes & go to my favorite Mexican in Santa Rosa … Las Palmas on SR Ave.

I love this place. Friendly staff and a good menu to choose from. If you love burritos this is your place, their super burritos are great! Priced at the same cost of most other locations but their burritos are much better. You can eat inside, on their patio, or get food to go. I live close to Montgomery and I usually call in my order. By the time I get there my food is ready for me to pick it up. My friends and I usually go here for lunch and we always have good food and service.

Oooooh MY, «The Taqueria» as we call it in our family is the best! We love Mexican food, and have tried almost every place around. The Taqueria is by far our favorite. The chile rellenos are awesome, their chips and salsa are out of this world. I like to get their Carnitas plate.

A fine taquería that I’m happy to have close to home. Most of what I’ve had has been solid but unexceptional, but their chili verde is my favorite in town.

This is one of my favorite spots in the area. I spent a lot of time in the state of Jalisco and this tasted authentic and brought back memories. It does not look like much but the staff is friendly and I always enjoy the food. The carnitas, my favorite, are excellent and they even have beer.

Food is pretty ok. Staff is desultory. Burrito or nacho dish is good for two normal adults to share.

This feels weird, but I’m recommending this taqueria based on a sandwich! I love the carne asada torta at this place so much. I don’t know what it is that’s got me hooked, but the bread is light and soft with a slightly crispy outside, and inside is a juicy, drippy blend of meat, lettuce, guacamole, beans, sour cream, yum. The sandwich, chips and salsa, and a Negra Modelo for $ 9 = happy me.

Never had eaten here before I decided to give it a try. This review is solely based on the food I had as it was picked up to go and I haven’t been to the restaurant myself yet. I had the two cheese enchilada a la carte and it came with chips and salsa. I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised on how good the enchiladas are and the chips and salsa were very good as well. I’m looking forward to going to the restaurant myself to see what other dishes they serve and trying other things

I love this place! I’ve been going here for years!!! Every time I go in, even before I approach the counter she’s already writing it down. Places that know my order make me a happy girl! I obviously always order the same thing but they ALWAYS get it right!

I love this taqueria! I’m satisfied 100% of the time and I go there a few times a week. I stick with 3 items from their menu; Super burrito, quesadilla super suiza, super nachos, all with carne asada. I did once get shredded chicken and thought it was sub par. Those 3 items are unmatched, delicious, and as far as I’m concerned the only things they need to sell. All of them are between $ 6.00-$ 6.50 after tax. Highly recommended… I might go there right now actually

BESTDAMNSALSAINTHENORTHBAY. I often just pop in to buy a cup full for a party or whatever else we might need the magical sauce for. Stick with the carne asada and your golden, the chicken is not all that great. Some people would have you believe the standards have gone down the shitter… its not the standards, its the prices, they have inflated of the last couple years. As far as cleanliness and what not, its a freaking taqueria, get over it people. Your going to regret eating it and spend extra time in the bathroom after any trip to a local taqueria.

My girlfriend worked nearby and would want to eat here on her lunches. Every time I would not enjoy my food. I also had issue with their service more than once. It is a place I would skip considering how many other taquerias we have in town.

Certain things in taquerias are a «tell» for me when I visit the first time. Chile Verde is something I try a lot on a first visit and this little joint’s Chile Verde Burrito was perfect. Tender, and brightly acidic and limey. Definitely best I’ve had in Santa Rosa… and I’ve had lots. Chicken and Jalapeño quesadilla was greasy and just ok. I’ll be back soon to explore the offerings. Al Pastor is up next.
