Bennett Valley Jewelers

I was in Bennett Valley Jewelers on Tuesday and Joanne (one of the owners) was helping a customer at the counter while another lady was helping someone as well. A woman came in the store and was extremely rude and complained that she had left her watch with them to have them dry it out. She picked the watch up last week and was upset because she wanted to wear it in the shower and wanted a gasket installed right away even though it was explained to her that they had to order the right size gasket and she should not get it wet. She would not leave her watch so they could get the right size gasket and she complained that she wanted her money back! I saw them go above and beyond what any other store would do for her, they cleaned the rust out and dried out her watch AND replaced the fried battery. Joanne gave her a refund and was very cordial to her. The other customer was blown away by how rude the woman was and how well Joanne handled her. I know I will be using them for all my jewelry needs!!!

Visited Bennett Valley Jewelers today and Ty, the owner, helped me out. I had him take a look at a Tudor Submariner I had. Ordered a case back gasket for me. Amazing service and very friendly. I would send anyone here. Great selection of Rolex watches for men and women.

The crew at BVJ were great. I broke (more like smashed) my wife’s Rolex and they handled the service very professionally. From shipping, talking with Rolex to negotiating the repairs — they handled it all. I would definitely buy from them seeing how they treat a simple service customer. First class at BVJ — THANKS!

I patronized Bennett Valley Jewelers because it was close to my house. However, I would never go back. I had a pair of earrings fixed and the white gold rings that were replaced did not match my earrings and had to take them back. I also had the prongs on my engagement ring replaced twice with them. The last time I had the prongs replaced I noticed that they turned yellow and wore down quickly, same as the first time. I decided not to go back and instead took my ring to a new jeweler. I was told that the prongs put on my platinum ring were white gold, thus the yellowing and quick wearing down. I was very upset and felt cheated. It felt as though they were only interested in helping customers with expensive purchases.

Went in to have a watch battery changed. It was close to closing time, and they were very pleasant about such a small dollar service. We talked watches for a little while, good information about some that they carried, and they knew what they were talking about.

By far, the BEST jewelry store around! Ty and Joanne are phenomenal and the customer service is top notch! Locally owned and operated and been a staple in Bennett Valley for years. Custom jewelry and Ty is a genius with his designs. Whether you’re going in to get a battery replaced or buying a Rolex, you are treated the same. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a jeweler. My family has been going to Ty for 25 years! Adon always offers to clean my jewelry every time we go in there. It’s no wonder the place always has people in there. They treat every person that walks in the door like family!

I love Bennett Valley Jewelers. They are on the high end quality scale so they are expensive (just know that going in). The owners, Joanne and Ty, are very different though. Joanne is very sweet and helpful. And from what I’ve experienced with Ty, he is an ass, for a lack of a better word. Besides that, the rest of the staff is great! Adan, the jeweler, is always working in the back, and his work has always met my expectations. Suzanne, along with Joanne, is one of the ladies in the front that attends the customers who is also kind to everyone. The craftsmanship of the repairs (in my experience and in my friends’ experiences) has been excellent and so is the jewelry in the displays. The watches they have are some of the highest quality ones you will find in Santa Rosa. They aren’t named the official Rolex Jewelers of Sonoma County for no reason!

I think the staff (ones I have dealt with) have been gracious, friendly and helpful. I am willing to drive across town for this store because of its personnel and choice of «jewels».

Amazing Owners and good prices. They’re very knowledgeable and helpful with all my questions. I purchased a new Submariner from them and very happy with the transaction. Plan to do more business in the future.

We love Bennett Valley Jewelers! They have such a great selection and really took the time to work with us to find the exact piece we were looking for. I also felt that we were able to get our ring for a great price. I would highly recommend using Bennett Valley Jewelers!

This is my FIRST Unilocal review and I felt that BV Jewelers warrented a 5 star and MORE. I came to get an engagement ring using a stone that was gifted to me from my fiancé’s family. Joanne helped my Mom, finace, and myself with patience, fantastic suggestions, and follow up phone calls. When I got my ring back, I actually cried it was so beautiful. Because of Jonanne’s suggestions, I am now wearing a set of rings that did not initally match and now look like a set from heaven. Pave stone setting which matches the diamond size of my wedding band. It is beyond gorgeous! But I will return to BV because the help was the best I had EVER received at any jewlers ever, and I was so surprised by the other two reviews, I felt I had to add my two cents.
I love this business.

This place was unfortunately my go-​to jeweler for several years as I lived close by. They are not in business to give you a good deal. Ty Visscher, the owner is an arrogant, aloof and unaccommodating person who caters primarily to the wealthier segment of Santa Rosa. He has mediocre talent at best. Design workmanship is poor to average. I regret sending my friends here as they were not pleased with their jewelry workmanship either. If you do decide to buy something here, make sure it is a pre-​made piece in one of the cases. These jewelers are not good at original designs. Also, the prices are in the higher range…

I checked on Unilocal and almost didn’t give these guys a try because of the first review. But they were the closest Rolex dealer so I went for it and hoped the favorable review was the accurate one. Well, it was. These people are great. I think their pricing may be a bit on the high side, not sure, but the repair work done was exceptional. The service was great too. I was acknowledged the minute I entered the shop. I ended up bringing back my other watch for servicing and several pieces of jewelry that had broken clasps, I was so happy with the original repair.

Ty the owner was awesome! My ring had a cracked diamond that needed to be replaced and so we got to look at several different diamonds. When I found the perfect one he told me it would be 7 – 10 business days. Well the next day he called my husband and told him my ring was ready! he saw how excited I was to get this diamond and rushed it. i love this place I’m never going anywhere else!

I came in here to get my watch battery replaced and the staff looked at me like I had the cooties or something. There were about 7 staff in the store, 3 customers, including myself and I still had to wait 30 minutes to be helped. When I finally got someone to help me they informed me, «We can replace the battery but we can’t guarantee that it will be waterproof anymore. I mean, it’s not like I had some bizzarre cheapo watch, it’s a standard stainless Swiss Army.
I won’t be going back there.
