My feet are hard to fit. Since I discovered SAS Shoes about 20 years ago, I have not bought any other brand. The quality is outstanding, worth every penny, the only shoes I have never had to «break in.» The staff in Santa Rosa is old school: they take their time with you and never pressure you to buy something whether it fits or not. They genuinely want you and your feet to be happy. They are adding a more stylish line of Italian-​made shoes, a step in the right direction for people who still value fashion as well as comfort. Now if they just made this newer line in wider widths!

My grandma was here visiting from Peru, and needed to replace some orthopedic shoes she’s used for 10 years now. From years and years of use she was hesitant to buy a pair of new shoes.
Sabina greeted us warmly despite the language barrier between her and my grandma when we walked in. She was kind, patient, and very knowledgeable. She asked a few question to get a better idea of what we were looking for and picked out a few pairs for my grandma to try on. She sat with us and helped her put the shoes to see how comfortable they were and how they felt. Sabina made her feel comfortable and made the whole experience so easy. My grandma not only walked out with one, but two pairs of orthopedic shoes.
My sister, grandma, and I were so impressed with the service we received, we won’t be going anywhere else.

I’ve been buying SAS shoes for over twenty years, as they are my «go-​to» brand for work shoes. I can easily clock in 12 to 18 miles on my feet in a given shift, and these are one of the only shoe brands that never let me down. They are not cheap, but extreme quality rarely is. Carl and his crew are always professional, know their product inside and out, and go the extra mile to make sure the customer is satisfied. SAS has maintained their extreme level of quality for the two decades I’ve been buying them; I can’t say the same for other even higher-​dollar brands (Mephisto, are you listening?), which have lost my faith. Not only are they the only shoes I trust my feet with at my job, but SAS in Santa Rosa is the best shop I’ve been to, for shoe buying. Highly recommended.
