21st birthday celebration. Prime rib, rib steak, fish and chips, and salmon picatta were all very good. Service was first rate. Highly recommend. We will be back for sure.

Almost 3 years after opening this place is still sparking. Greater staff, clean, continually changing up the menu. Nice clientele, healthy clean food ingredients, nice respectable staff. It’s good for calm tasty breakfast or a rockin evening with scrumptious dinner fare. Parking appears to be challenging some evenings, but just look around in the center and you will find a space.

Finally ate here a week ago and have already returned. The atmosphere is very«locals only» and seems that everyone knows each other. The first time here, the server was great and knowledgeable about the menu. Everything arrived quickly to the table and was delicious! We ordered the chicken Yulupa and their Cobb salad plus a couple rounds of drinks. The reason for the loss of one star is the not so great service we received during the second visit. Our server kept forgetting things and coming back to verify. Over all, definitely a place to try out. Great restaurant.

What a ripoff! Two steak sandwiches with hardly any meat and a side for $ 36.00! Never going to eat here again.

We started out very hopeful and excited to get some bar grub and watch a little football. To put simply, if you’re not a regular your service will be dismal at best as you sit and watch the staff fawn over the regulars. The sliders and burger were clearly frozen patties on Grocery Outlet buns and the drinks were just plain not good.

I would put Ricardo’s in the good but not great category. Nice feel with comfortable booths and friendly staff. Vidalia onion rings were crisp and done right, the brick chicken was good but the veggies were cold, mashed potatoes warm; pulled pork sandwich meat was nice and chunky with a crisp on the edges toasted bun but thought the coleslaw topping had too much mayo and was runny, mixed greens side salad was acceptable but nothing special; friend’s French dip roast beef sandwich was pronounced as decent. Not cheap but not ridiculously high prices either. Had to ask twice for ketchup and a follow-up request for my beer. Will try again for the happy hour menu and prices next time.

The French dip was delish. I don’t drink but that menu looks pretty comprehensive. The staff was helpful, but it’s really weird that it smells like cigarettes in here. There’s no one smoking in the dining room or out front so I assume it’s in the kitchen? Weird.

Such a random gem. Totally unassuming on the outside, gorgeous classy old-school feel on the inside. They make a mean bloody mary and are generous with their mimosas. Zack was a wonderful waiter and brunch was delicious!

It’s a bar that gives you booze and charges you for it. Bartender is cool, always nice. The wait staff was very nice. I’ve yet to try their food, which I’ve heard is good. I highly suggest the Goose on the rocks.

I have not been here since they remodeled, it’s absolutely beautiful inside. Bartender was extremely friendly, great place! You gotta try the Spicy & Stormy.

First off, this place is not what you would expect to see from the outside. Inside it’s all dark mahogany wood, panelling as well. Mariah was the bar girl & generally in command of the place. Nice lady. I had their special, a Reuben with a side of fries, a Racer 5& a vodka martini with 3 olives, dirty.(She came back later and asked if I needed anything else… like a shot of tequila?) The Reuben was good. Very nice crumbly corned beef, lean, with sauerkraut, and more than a little thousand, swiss cheese. The fries were a nice cut a lightly fried, just a slight crisp. The drinks were fine, although I’d never seen a cloudier Racer. Lots of good looking items on the menu. Come by and check it out…

First time I’ve been there since it was John Barleycorns. Everything went well. Nicely furnished and clean. Very good support from our server. I had heard that they were serving the El Dorado, back from the days of Ingrams Chili. Not on the menu, but when I asked, was told it was available. We both ordered one and it was very good. Not quite Ingrams, but that’s okay. Very good place for lunch, and the menu looks real interesting for dinner. I’ll be back.

All I think when I come here is Frank Sinatra! A truly bona fide classy jaunt. It’s a pleasure coming here and enjoying a drink with some friendly banter. Being tucked away on yulupa ave, Rick has done a fabulous job of making you feel as though you’ve escaped from suburbia. With dark cherry wood interior and plush leather stools, you can’t go wrong. Not to mention a dynamic staff. I personally enjoy the Jazz buzzing around me while I sip my gin. Shout out to Mariah for being the best bartender!

Ah, what a great improvement over the previous bar & grill at this location. John Barleycorn was a stinky hangout for homeless denizens. That smelly crew spent thier begging money on coors light and cigarettes that they smoked in the doorway from 10am until 2am closing time. Yuck! Ricardo’s has become a neighborhood favorite with local families. Sure thing, the comfort food is tasty and plentiful. While prices are not basement budget level, one can get a generous dinner for $ 15 — $ 20. Happy hour does make me happy. $ 4 cocktails that are tasty and strong enough to taste the liquor. Bambie & I bought a Living Social coupon which gave us a 50% discount on dinner. Steal of a deal. We visited on a Thursday, 5:00pm. The place was packed with a happy, social crowd. Like the old Cheers TV show«everybody knows your name». I’ve given up hope and have lost my patience with Trattoria Cattaneo next door. Ricardo’s will be my new joint in this shopping center.

Awesome little bar and grill. Dirty Arnold Palmer was a smooth drink… Not too sweet. Bartender gave me an experimental drink of lemonade vodka and iced tea vodka… I liked it a lot! Friendly atmosphere. Food was delicious. Caesar Salad was perfect… Long leaves of lettuce, fresh grated Parmesan, and yummy dressing. My dad loved his turkey club and potato salad. I had the Rustica and fries… Would definitely order again. No complaints. If I lived here, this would be my local spot :).

So for years I have been trying to replace my local bar/restaurant back home. The place had an amazing menu, Lunch, Diner, Drinks etc… Its got it all. I had the best French Dip I’ve had in years! Everything was hand made in house, fries, prime rib, and the bread was soft and fresh! Blow your mind! All I’m saying is this place is my new Lunch spot, post up with the laptop, drink an espresso and get work done. Then stay for happy hour… Get more work done! Must try is all I’m saying. It won’t disappoint!

Ricardo’s not only has wonderful food for a neighborhood sports bar environment, friendly staff, but they also give back to the local community — frequently giving a percentage of their daily sales to local non-profits. We eat there often and have enjoyed a variety of menu items. Have always enjoyed them and often the food exceeds our expectations. Daily specials are also available. We agree that the Garlic Fries are done right(along with the Onion Rings, and everything else we’ve had). Not a fancy place, just a relaxed neighborhood watering hole with outstanding food. Highly recommended.

Intimate size. Rich flavorful pub foods. They do their garlic fries right. Amazing.(Comes with a side of ranch) The potato salad was delicious — also I’m usually not a fan of coleslaw, but they don’t use mayonnaise! Try it! ***magician Wednesday evenings. He’s terrific.

This place is Awesome — lucky enough to grab a seat at the bar. Joel was working with a guy named Rainbow(This Rainbow guy is really cool — and normal looking — you know what I mean). So both of these guys did an awesome job — I remember enjoying the food and especially the drinks. Joel ran a special Manhattan with a San Francisco Bourbon called Cyrus Noble which is delicious for…$ 5 Dolla — awesome.

Went back to try the food. Thursday night NFL football, Oregon vs Stanford college football and the most inviting restaurant owner. What else could you ask for? We had the French Dip and it was great. They split the order for us so we could each have half. They still gave us full servings of potato salad though! The potato salad was fresh and delicious. I even got a free cup of coffee after dinner while we stayed and chatted. Little bit of an older crowd, but that’s the scene in BV, we don’t mind… it’s our home too and we love it. Can’t wait to go back!
