I can’t say enough wonderful things about Byron and his craftsmanship!
I had a diamond ring of my mother’s that just wasn’t what I would like to wear, I found a wonderful antique setting at Byron’s and he modified it to accept the largest diamond from mom’s ring. I absolutely adore how it turned out. Byron was so nice to work with and a joy to deal with. I will take all of my jewelry business to Byron from now on!

My experience with Byron started almost 10 years ago when I purchased an engagement ring for my wife. His selection of interesting vintage jewelry is better than any other I’ve seen in Sonoma County, and his prices have always seemed very fair. He helped us purchase our wedding bands, and was completely transparent about the costs and markups. He has done two repairs of my wife’s engagement ring (it is a very fragile vintage deco ring), and did a perfect job repairing my mother-in-law’s ring, which had lost multiple stones in the past (both before and after repairs by other jewelers). He is personable, honest and helpful, and I could not recommend him more highly.

We had an amazing experience with Bryon and Roy. We bough my engagement ring in the fall of 2014, an antique ring and stone. Byron and Roy were very helpful and super knowledgeable, they took time to explain the how and whys. Since the purchase we have visited the store no less than 6 times for cleanings and to purchase my wedding band; every time we were greeted by name and with a smile. Our experience was far better than I ever imagined. Byron knows his stuff and is upfront and honest. Additionally my ring appraised well over the purchase price.
I can not say enough about our experience, it made a special event so much better.

Alway a pleasant experience with Byron and his son. They Always takes the time to talk with you. Always sells high quality stones and jewelry at reasonable prices. This is my second trip here and I’m sure I’ll be back again. Nice hidden little spot in Santa rosa.

I love this store and it’s unique selection of vintage jewelry both fine gold and sterling. Prices are very good for the bay area. I appreciate how knowledgeable they are. They greet you and offer to help but are not pushy in any way.
I wish more SF stores retained the charm that this store has.

The woman who says she has trust issues with jewelry stores, cites the misdeeds of an unrelated business, and then proclaims these guys untrustworthy is clearly projecting.
Tarnishing a business’s reputation based on her own unfounded suspicion is just irresponsible not to mention unjust.
I was in the jewelry industry for several years and a lot of the people are very good, artistic people.

I bought my wedding band from this store. I love the ring, and I love this store! It is true gem in Santa Rosa. Byron and Rachel had excellent customer service, and they are great people too. The location of the store, in historic railroad square, coupled with the customer service, makes you feel like you are stepping back in time. Byron knew what I would like and created a perfect ring for me.

Excellent customer service? Trust? I stopped in on a whim to ask if he cleans jewelry. I am nervous about leaving my heirloom ring with anyone after having left a family heirloom to be cleaned by another jeweler in the past. That ring was stolen in a fire that was started by that jeweler. I needed to know that I could trust this man. I needed to be reassured that my jewelry would be cared for and that I would get it back. Not only was he unable to say anything reassuring or positive about past client experiences, he said nothing to lead me to trust him with my ring. First impressions mean everything and are the main factor in determining whether I do business with someone. I won’t return.

Amazing quality and customer service. Not just a great jeweler but a great human being. My husband bought my engagement ring here and it’s incredible. We will come here forever for any and all jewelry we ever buy.

I have sold a number of items to Byron. He offered useful advice such as that I’d get more selling silverware for the silver by weight, which saved me money and a lot of trouble (I’d checked online and saw it wouldn’t have gone for that much). I also had one ring made from the end of one of the silverware spoons for sentimental reasons and he did a beautiful job. I also sold him a number of jewelry items, and seemed honest in his appraisal and to be reasonably priced. He and his son were a pleasure to do business with.

Byron not only does great custom work, his customer service is the best. I picked out a besutiful Edwardian pendant/​pin for my wife’s birthday. She liked it but didn’t think it was just right for her. Byron helped her pick out another pendant that she just loved immediately and exchanged it without question. Byron also helped her select a new wedding ring that she gets rave comments on regularly. If you want a jeweler with integrity, skill and friendliness, look no further.

DO NOT SELL ANYTHING OF VALUE TO JEWELRY TECH. They will not even give you one half of what your item is worth. You are better going on Craigs list and finding a private buyer. They sell cheap trinkets and love to see something valuable coming in the door. VULTURES. GIVES JEWELERS A BAD NAME.

Byron combines personal service and technical expertise with exceptional artistry in his jewelry shop in Santa Rosa’s railroad square. He does amazing custom work as well as has what I think is the best quality and selection of antique jewelry in town. His staff is friendly and so helpful, he stands behind his work and really cares about each and every person who walks in his store. I have two rings from his store, one he designed with input from my boyfriend and another antique ring from the 20’s. I get compliments on these pieces all the time as they are exquisite. Exceptional quality at a reasonable price with excellent customer service. I recommend Byron and Jewelry Tech to everyone I know. If you are in the market for jewelry of any kind, stop by Byron’s first, you won’t be disappointed.

Me and my husband are fans. We purchased several pieces of jewelry here as well as had rings sized. They are very helpful and have very beautiful vintage jewelry in great condition.
