Redd’s Fueling Station

Décor and ambiance are fabulous. Redd, the owner, bartender, hostess, server and singer is a wonderful host. Redd sings, and encourages the guests to sing along with her. Good selection of local brew in bottles, several on draft. The food all has interesting names. This is a great place for a fun night of having a few drinks and being entertained.

I’ve been in too many bars all over the place and this is one of the most unique places I have ever been. 1. It is in the back of a gas station. 2. The bartender/​owner/​manager/​everything ran the show. She made my mojito (that was ok) while singing an Elton John song to the entire bar while waving a group walking in the front door to an open table… Wow. Did not eat, just drinks. Limited bar. Only a few cocktail available. If you like interesting hole in the wall dives (not in the dirty sense of the term) and you are in the area; it is a must.

Most fun we have had in a long time!!! Went with a large group, everybody had a blast!!! Redd was awesome! Highly recommended for a good time!

Redd, the owner, is just great. Her service is great and her singing entertainment is actually very good! We love the feel and the vibe of the place. Great to have a beer or cocktails with friends.
Dinner was a bit on the pricey side for «what you get». Trust me, I don’t have a problem with spending a lot of money on dinner, but the menu has potential, but really needs much more charisma as Redd has herself. For example, chicken salad LITERALLY has lettuce and pieces of breaded chicken. That’s it for $ 12! No other veggies, no other toppings but a container of salad dressing. The brisket was way too overcooked and dry. The shrimp boil had quite a few shrimp, not bad, and nicely sized. Unfortunately, it came with a few steamed potato pieces, a ¹⁄₃ size corn on the cob and one small piece of sausage. Just «Eh» for $ 17. The meatloaf sliders were the best thing we ordered.

Redds was an amazing experience. At first it seems odd to go to a bar in the back of a small gas station but it was definitely a great find! The food was fantastic. We had the nachos, tilapia, brisket and fried green tomato BLT. I am in town from Texas and the brisket is better than any I have had in Texas yet. It essentially melted in your mouth! Redd is a fantastic woman who creates an even better atmosphere and we had a fantastic night. We will be back next time we are in town!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! A night out at Redd’s, especially if it is a night she is singing, is sure to be a blast! We make sure we visit at least once every trip and bring to entire crew with us. We all look forward to our night with Redd!

Was at the Irish place next store and was chatting with another patron. They asked if I had been next store yet… to the gas station??? Apparently in the back is a bar/restaurant…with a singing bartender. This I had to see.
They weren’t kidding. She slings drinks & food with a mic pack on. I had just eaten next door, but everyone else’s food looked great. She’s got the personality to pull it off. Excited to go back!

I went with some friends recently and found Redd’s to be an awesome environment of throwback design and unique entertainment. The restaurant is scattered with older pictures and posters and many have crazy memes that give a fun vibe. Redd sings more songs than I could ever hope to remember and is a wonderful host. Very friendly and accommodating. Redd’s has a burger challenge which until I completed it had never been finished. The Burger Challenge consists of 5 patties stuffed with cream cheese and jalepenos and habeneros with 2 hamburger buns and 2 english muffins stacked high. You also have to finsih 1lb of sweet potato fries dusted in habenero powder and drink 2 pints of rolling rock. The burger was delicious but it’s not for weak at heart. There’s a waiver to sign before the challenge begins and you have 40 minutes to finish. A nice crowd cheered me to victory and I ended up with a massive meal for free and T Shirt and roll of toilet paper for my efforts.
Go check out the restaurant if you want a different vibe! You’re at the beach and that’s the place to get away and relax and escape the every day monotonous routine that beats you down. Redd’s will perk you up and help you relax and either fill you up or break your spirits if you’re brave enough to attempt the Burger Challenge :)

Went there while on vacation last year. It was a blast! Great friendly bartender that sang all our favorite songs. I had the meatloaf and it was the best! If I’m in the area again, I will definitely go back. Wish there was a local bar like this near me.

Fun atmosphere but food was subpar. Good spot for the locals.
Had the cream cheese stuffed burger and nachos. Burger lacked flavor and was very small and nachos we very bland with little toppings.
