Bad news… this was the worst meal we had on vacation. Good news… for the rest of the trip we checked Unilocal ahead of time to avoid another experience like the one we had at Pickles. The concept(hole in the wall burger place on the beach) is 5 star. Execution gets them a 0. We went late afternoon for an early dinner, so they weren’t busy. They still managed to mess up pretty much our entire order. I questioned whether or not we got someone else’s order, but we were the only ones there… so unfortunately it was ours. After 2 attempts to correct it, we were ready to eat. The burgers were extremely over cooked(charcoal briquet like) and bland. The kids burgers were half-sized sliders. Our first indication we were in for it should’ve been pricing. We fed 3 adults and 2 kids for just over $ 70…and this is even with us sharing sides, like fries and most of us drinking water. WAY overpriced. Hopefully their management/owners find a way to make some changes and save this place. Like I said… great concept, crappy execution.

Had the deluxe platter for breakfast.(Two eggs, sausage or bacon, home fries, and texas toast. $ 9.95) Reasonably priced, prepared quickly, and exactly as ordered. This is a great location, excellent people watching, good atmosphere and friendly staff. Would definitely come here again.

Pickles is «ok». They have decent burgers, pretty good fries, good fried pickles, and not so good shakes. I dined here for lunch over spring break around 2pm and the wait from standing in line to getting my food was probably around 30 minutes. I expect that might be shorter had it not been spring break. I think it’s expected to pay high prices for food in the area, but Pickles seems almost ridiculous: $ 8.75 for a KIDS cheeseburger? Our total bill for 4 people, burgers, and two alcoholic drinks was 75DOLLARS! I might check out some other options before landing on Pickles. If you do decide to eat here, save your money on the shakes. Two people in my group that ordered them did not like them.

I would say this place is good rather than average. Food is good, Philly cheesesteak was so so amazing. Its good for the heart and very affordable, I liked how they wrap they massive cheesesteak, its kind breathtaking. Would still want their cheese steak even if everything disapproves it.

The juicy grass fed beef burger was juicy and cooked just right. It was put Ina crash bun and topped with delicious and fresh veggies! The fries were out of this world and the orange Dreamsicle shake was amazing. Well worth the price

Oh boy where do I start. First off this place is in seagrove beach. Good location if you can find a parking spot amongst all the oversized vehicles. I got the chili cheese burger for $ 13. Wow what a bad idea. The burger was the consistency of sand. The chili had to have come from a dollar store shelf. And the overall taste was that of soggy paper. The fries however were great. Would eat them all day! Anyways one star for the fries! Good job pickles on capitalizing on the location/customer base which is upper class. I’d do the same if I didn’t have a soul.

I love the club sandwich and French fries. I wish I could rate some of the other food as I’ve heard it’s good as well but every time I eat here my mouth just waters thinking about the club sandwich so I haven’t been able to try anything else. If you are eating with friends share the large fry it’s big and delicious. The price is not going to be cheap by a long shot but if you’re in seaside you’re probably not looking for a bargain.

Hmm, Pickles. I love it when you find quality in the most unusual places. On the roadside off 30S, is a small stand with outdoor seating called Pickles. With a friendly staff, quick service and the tastiest little tiny cubed potato fries, this place is a winner. My omelet was beautiful, and ever so tasty. And as I stated, the small tiny cubed potato’s then fried to a beautiful crispy yet moist and soft in the center will make I am certain appearances in my food dreams for years to come. If you eat, and eat breakfast and are on 30A, stop off a Pickles. You’ll be glad you did.

I wanted a Root Beer Float and they serve it with Stuart’s. It was perfect and hit the spot!

Well I guess the fried pickles were good so it’s not completely worthless, but seriously, this place is not with your time with all the better spots on 30-A. For the greasy fast food it is, it’s highly over priced and slow with rude service to top it off. Long after everyone finished their dinner we still had not received our milk shakes. When we inquired about them, fearing the order was lost they ignored us. Finally when they came out(over 30 min later) they were not even that good. Many places make average shakes, but rarely do you come across a shake so bad you don’t finish it. I mean it’s ice cream and milk. But somehow they managed to screw that up. I really just can’t figure out why people like this place.

Pickles is a fun place to grab a burger or dog! Fresh cut fries and fried pickle spears are what’s best on the menu! It’s all about comfort food after a long day on the beach!!! It’s a bit pricey, but so is everything else in Seaside!!! Great staff… fun & friendly!!! Pickles is a MUST while visiting Seaside!!!

Extremely disappointed that we spent $ 60 on lunch for 3 and they refused to give us an extra small ranch… We got 2 small ranch with our order but then we needed another one. The server said we had to go All the way in the back of the line and Pay for another one!!! The cashier completely ignored me and was very rude to my daughter. Won’t return… Beware the pickles aren’t worth the Horrible customer service!

Absolutely LOVE the philosophy of this place HOWEVER. I was interested in the veggie burger and asked if they were home made or if they were a processed Boca burger. The girl behind the counter assured me they made all their veggie burgers right there. When I receive my burger it was pale and looked exactly like a chicken or turkey burger and when I bit into it there is no doubt this was meat. So I went back to exchange the burger not mad at all and was told trust me it is a boca burger(which is not what I wanted in the first place) and was told I was wrong. I wasn’t going to sit and argue I’m just mad that I wasted my money on this place what crappy customer service

The fried pickle spears are AMAZING! The prices are too high, but that seems to be the trend for Seaside, FL. The lines are always long but that’s because it’s hard to find fried pickles this delicious.

Pickles definitely know how to fleece tourists. Service was spotty. They just don’t care. Burgers was pretty good, but like other reviewers say, overpriced. There are many food options in Seaside, Pickles should not be one. Take this one example from April 6, 2015: We paid $ 7 for a Good Humor bar. $ 7…let that sink in for a moment. For something that cost $ 1.50 at Modica Market — 200 yards away. Could you imagine the markup Pickles would charge if they sold wine? One bright spot was the Chef Salad, but overall avoid this place.

If you need a FULL plate of breakfast this is your place to go. The atmosphere and the town of Seaside really sell the spot and I imagine if it was somewhere else it wouldn’t do so hot. However, the omelet was pretty tasty and I was sufficiently stuffed for the rest of the day. However, for the quality of food I wouldn’t have expected it to be so pricey and that caught me off guard.

This place has definitely improved with age and the quality of ingredients have a good bit to do with it. You couldn’t ask for a much better location than right on 30A across from Seaside town square. Pickles is a good place to walk up, all sandy from the beach, order and enjoy. While the seating is outdoors, it’s always comfortable, even on a hot day, with the mister fans going. The burgers are grass fed beef, thick and juicy and cooked to whatever temperature you want. They come with the typical toppings and those toppings are very fresh. If you order bacon on your burger, let’s just say that you better like bacon. Piled high would be an understatement. For breakfast, get the hangover omelet. Stuffed with bacon, sausage, cheese jalapenos and more, then served with crispy little diced hash brown cubes on the side. Yum!

The food is not bad, it’s just overpriced. To be fair, most of the places I’ve tried in this area are. Your typical burger and dog joint. And topping like cheese cost extra. I got a burger with cheese, regular fries, and a soft drink and spent $ 20. I’d rather spend that on a nicer dinner elsewhere. Warning: the fries are EXTREMELY salty. Be prepared, I couldn’t eat more than a couple before I had to give up on them.

Grass-fed beef. You don’t see it often, but when you do, have some. Pickles is the quintessential Burger Joint on the Beach. They’ve smartly made arrangements to have tables in the shade, whether it’s under their roof or under nearby trees, and the misting fans are great for combating the heat. You order at one window and grab a seat, and the food runner brings it to you. Food-wise, they do burgers, dogs, chicken, fries, desserts, shakes and some beer and cocktails. They also have a few surprises, like an ice cream case and giant pickles. Their fries come in regular, large, and«Walk-Away», which looks like someone took a movie bucket of popcorn and put fries in it. The grass-fed beef is delicious. Some may think it a little off, because they’re used to consuming fast food garbage, but this is actual beef the way beef is supposed to be reared and prepared. So while grass-fed beef takes a little getting used to, it doesn’t detract from the fact that it’s delicious. I shake my head any time I hear people mention the price of the items here. You’re at an eating establishment on the beach in Seaside, FL, and you’re complaining about the price of a cheeseburger because it’s made from quality, extensively-reared beef rather than a $.99 burger made from Grade D slurry? Walk on, son. For every burger you don’t eat here, I’ll eat two.
