Just happened to spot this little Japanese sushi place and decided to duck in. The restaurant is totally casual — only handful of seats inside — and it’s mostly grab-n-go kind of place(which is very convenient for those working nearby.) You can order fresh sushi/bowls/rolls at the counter, or you can grab pre-made sushi/rolls/appetizers inside the boxed refrigerator. I also spotted variety of beverages in another refrigerator. Since I wasn’t in a hurry, I ordered my sushi set and decided to sit down. I was surprised at the amount of foot traffic — people must call in to order — because I saw people come and go frequently. My sushi was fresh but not of high quality, but good enough for a quick sushi bite. Don’t even try comparing to other great sushi restaurants — it’s not that kind of place. But if you’re craving sushi/rolls at reasonable price, this is a good spot.

I grab sushi here now and then because it’s decent and its walking distance from my place. Recently there have been some changes. Most notably the woman at the register who barks orders at the staff and yells at customers. She is so off putting that sadly I will now get in my car and drive somewhere else rather than walk a short distance to this local spot

This is like a fast food sushi place. The quality is not so great and the quantity is ridiculously small for the price you pay. The customer service is not great either, the clerk lady is very rude when taking your order, the only nice people are the cooks.

They basically serve you ready-made sushi. We ordered the spicy tuna, and she brought it out in less than a minute, saying this is «fast food» sushi. They are way overpriced as well.

Been coming here for quite a while now. Still a great place to get sushi quick. For the ones who got food poisoning, raw sushi should not be left out for a long period of time and should be eaten within a day or else the fish could spoil. The sushi is always fresh and I have never encountered any issues.

I eat Sushi Sho sushi on average of once each week, and have for about three years. Always good, fresh fish prepared as it should be. While they have indoor and outdoor seating, I have it delivered. Typically about a 30 – 45 minute delivery time. You won’t be disappointed here.

Don’t list that you deliver within a 3 mile radius, then deny delivery for a customer 2 miles away. Customer lost.

I love Sushi Sho! I have literally been coming here for a decade and it’s consistently good and I keep coming back. Look, this isn’t a fancy, expensive sushi place, so don’t expect that going it. It’s a good place for affordable yummy sushi, with good specials and nice people. I almost always opt for the combo roll set and it doesn’t disappoint. Cali Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll, a handful of edamame, and Miso Soup for $ 10($ 11 for dinner). Ken and Sho make the best California roll I’ve had in my life, for real. I typically get it to-go and they are careful to give you everything you need for a good take out experience, even a little dish for soy sauce. The service is exceptional! Sometimes I call on my way over and they are very fast and just the nicest people. Their little salad is delish too, with a great dressing. I’ve also enjoyed their teriyaki salmon bowl a few times. I hope they are around for decades to come because I’ll keep coming back :)

This place has been around for quite some time. If you want fast decent-quality sushi this is where you wanna go. The sushi quality in no way can relate to a great restaurants but it is cheap and really easy to order to go. They do have some seating there as well but it is pretty limited. Usually isnt too busy so if you want to eat there you are able to. The service is a hit or miss. Sometimes they are sweet and other times they make you seem like you are wasting their time. Overall 2.5−3 stars is what I would give them.

Unbelievable prices for unbelievably fresh sushi! It’s super tiny inside, just a few tables and counter but the food was as good as it gets.

I did not feel good after eating here. I wonder if they use MSG and just not good quality food.

That was an strange experience; the place is extremely tiny. I wouldn’t call it a sushi bar, more like a sushi counter, so if you choose to eat here, be prepared for an uncomfortable stare-down. Miso soup was delicious, spicy tuna was ok, octopus was too chewy, uni was great, salmon was good, green tea was ghetto — meaning tea bag. This is definitely more of a to-go place — my soup and tea were served in to-go containers despite the fact that I was eating in — and the experience was nothing worthy of repeating; there are too many other amazing sushi places in the area.

You know those places with a small menu,(which is sometimes frustrating), but all of it’s good enough? This is it. If I need a sushi fix, they’ve got fresh sashimi, delivery if I’m lazy, and average prices. Not a ton of variety, but I love that they have salads and rolls ready for take out that are actually freshly made. My husband and I have split the bento box and the baked crab hand roll a few times. Their baked crab roll is awesome(tangy sauce, lots of crab, very tasty), definitely something to go back and order again. Bento box included chicken teriyaki, California roll, miso soup and seaweed salad. Good portion, and worth it even though Id never order a California roll otherwise. Service is speedy(never longer than 10 min for an order). They’ve got limited seating, but if you can grab one of the table outside. Great spot on Montana to sit and relax.

This is a good sushi place close to me. I love that they are authentic Japanese and I get to practice speaking it when ordering and speaking with the chef. They have fresh fish as much as I’ve seen here and service is good. There are a few tables inside and out on Montana Ave, but it’s not a full restaurant style place. Good solid place here on the westside.
