Excellent service from very knowledgable staff. Beautiful store, very well organized. Lots of testers. Highly recommended. Love this place.

Customer Service was non-​existent. I received a coupon for a free sample of Crème Comfort Moisturizer. I had heard about L’Occitane products and thought I’d give them a try. Finding this was the closest location to me I made the drive from Hollywood to Santa Monica. It’s a teeny-​tiny store on a corner with a small parking lot behind the building with plenty of street parking around. I was the only person in the store for about 2 minutes before the girl behind the register acknowledged my presence but did not ask if I needed help. I told her I had a coupon for a free sample, she looked at the coupon on my phone, went in the back to get the product and then proceeded typing a ton of info into her computer never saying anything to me. After she gave me the sample I cruised the store for about 5 minutes looking at the products as she continued to ignore me. Finally realizing she wasn’t going to offer any suggestions I asked her about the Lavender products and she said «I’m allergic to Lavender so I stay away from them». After a couple of questions & getting no guidance from her I left without making additional purchases. As Julia Roberts said in Pretty Woman to the girls on Rodeo Drive…“Big Mistake!” There are plenty of other stores with great products that want my business & money. In a store that charges an arm & a leg for there small bottles of product, lack of quality customer service is unacceptable to me.
As for the «deluxe trial of NEW Shea Butter Light Comforting Face Cream», it wasn’t deluxe at all, tiny jar… however, it probably contains about 7 days worth of use. I’ve used it once so far. It is creamy, not too thick or runny and the fragrance is not over-​powering however, I doubt there is enough in this jar for proper judgement of its benefits.
The only thing that made that trip to Santa Monica worthwhile, in afternoon traffic, was getting to catch a glimpse of a beautiful sunset near the Santa Monica pier.
