Subway

Can’t tell you the number of times my dinner plans have been saved by this subway… it is conveniently located near work and always fast and easy. The sandwich artists are true to their name and consistently whip up my made to order sub just the way I like it. The chips selection is great (they even have the jalapeño chips that give me just the right amount of heartburn). So if you are looking for a quick satisfying bite to eat, let me introduce you to subway!

When it comes to fast food I’m kinda slow.
First Fat Burger: 6−19−13.
First Johnny Rocket’s: 6−14−14.
First Subway: 9−22−15.
A $ 3.95, six-​inch, 480-​calorie, spicy Italian sub wasn’t bad at all, in fact it was exactly the proper portion and on a whole grain roll, quite filling. Super fresh ingredients were assembled super fast right before my eyes. For $ 6 I could have added a soda, chips and more calories from sugar and fat. Went with water.
Like that Subway’s partnered with the American Heart Association to provide dietary options and «Fresh Fit Choices»

Like that staffers hustled, were friendly.
Like that the dine in area was tidy.
Parked at a 40-​minute meter just out front, not sure about the rules for the free lot behind.

EAT FRESH is the Subway motto but hmmmm this place doesnt abide by that at all. Went in to pick up a sub I ordered for one I wanted it toasted that thing never hit the toaster at all. That wasnt even the worst of it once I noticed that I checked the inside of the sub and the chicken had some weird ass white film over it and it didnt smell good at all. Hell I then went deeper and sniffed the bread it smelled stale and like it was literally just on the edge of going moldy.
Number two I own two dogs and I wouldnt even hand this sub to my dogs as I knew it would make them sick and me sick so it got to meet my damn trashcan kiss that money goodbye aint worth getting sick. If you order a sub be in there face to inspect and watch them make it so they dont fuck it up never allow them to pre make.
Also there were two guys inside one of which couldnt speak even the simplest of english nor understand enough of it to get a different staff member who could. I mean if you dont have the correct amount of cookies I wanted and I cant eat the others I expect you to either give me a full refund or simple enough to hand me the amount you do have then a refund for the remainder. However I kept repeating myself to these guys over and over and over until my face was blue. He kept repeating we have 3 that was it? I asked the other guy who had his head down do you understand english he came over very angry and said well we have more in back still missing 3 of them he basically demanded I choose 3 different ones I want what I ordered or a refund he then replies nasty its only a 50 cent difference? Its the damn principle at this point of having to deal with you and your stupid idiot i think to myself he tossing two quarters on the counter and I finally left I would stay the hell away from here if you dont want to recieve food poisening I mean absolutely disgusting.

I love my Subway. Staff always remembers me and careful to make things just as I ask. Always fresh and clean… and they make happy faces on my salads. :)

NO STARS! Worst subway that I have ever been to. The staff constantly chit chatting in Spanish, laughing costumers and or have a mean mad face like they wished they were somewhere else. Another thing they warm up your hot sandwich in advance to apparently speed up the process but by the time u pay ur hot sandwich is warm close to cold. And finally the hurry rush you thru the line that in two occasions I’ve been given the wrong sandwich. I have spoken to the manager in twice and he claims to have spoken to them about the issues but clearly doesn’t care.

This may be one of my favorite subway locations! Juan and Aaron were funny, kind, and very helpful. I’ve never seen a sub made so fast and so well done! The location is open and gives lots of room so it doesn’t get crowded, the seating is comfy and set up well, and their green tea is something of heaven!

I use to come this subway really often, mainly because it is a block away from my work. Every time I came here though I always felt uncomfortable. The customer service in this place is a joke. The workers are constantly gossiping with each other and hardly paying attention to the customer. They insist on speaking Spanish to you (which I have no problem with) but they get a nasty attitude if you don’t. I would much rather (and do) go to the subway 7 blocks away, endure Santa Monica Blvd traffic and parking rather than dealing with these workers here.

2^nd smallest subway I’ve been to in Santa Monica (behind the one on the 3^rd st promenade). If they moved the soda thing over to were the seating area is and remove 1 table it will help the line out. Been there twice and both times were good. 1^st time years ago was a turkey with cheese and mustard and was really good. The other day was a meatball and was tasty. Staff is average. There are a very few metered parking spaces around and that is hit or miss. Subtract 2 stars b/​c of limited parking and the line is long.

Horrible staff and crappy service. An employer named Jesus checked me out and asked if I wanted a bag, I replied yes and he handed me a bag with my food expecting me to bag my own items. I asked him to bag it for me and he did it with attitude. I noticed my bag was ripped and I had ask a lady working there for another one… she told me next time shell charge me .$ 10. And mentioning she knows her co worker ripped the bag. Seriously?

I love this Subway. They are always friendly, fast and helpful. I have never had a mistake on my sub or a bad experience. I usually get subs for my whole family, so 4 subs at a time. I definitely recommend this location for a quick, yummy pick me up.

Open 24hrs– yay!
Staff was pleasant, service was quick. I always get the same thing. 6″ oven roasted chicken on honey wheat bread, toasted. Add spinach, onions, cucumbers, honey dijon… and this Subway has… CREAMY SRIRACHA!!! So add that too ;) They had a deal with the 6″ and a drink for $ 5. Satisfied.

I like coming here. It’s close to my house and there’s this one chick that works here that I have a crush on. She always eye fucks me, but I’m too shy to ask her if she’s single because I’m forever alone. That’s why I spend all my time writing reviews like this on the internet rather than telling her in person, because I’m a fat 22-​year-​old pimpled face manlet.
But when she asks what size, I always say the footlong if you naw’mean’ ;)
She asks me if I want it toasted and I can’t help but say yes, even though I don’t really, because she’s just so damn HOT.
She goes what kind of sauce? And I tell her ranch. While she squirts it on the sub, I can’t help but make little moaning sounds each time she squeezes the bottle with that firm grip of hers. It’s a little awkward for everyone else standing in line behind me, but oh so worth it.
She asks if I want it cut, and I tell her definitely because the sexual tension is so strong you could cut it with a knife. Plus, sometimes I don’t like to eat the whole thing in one sitting. You ever eat a full sub and then later you’re like, «Oh man, I wish I had something to grub on right now while I watch X-​files,» but you can’t because you just ate the whole thing? Yeah, me too because I’m a fat fuck. I have them cut it in half, but that doesn’t prevent me from eating the whole thing. What a joke.
She finally rings me up for my meal and as she hands me my change, I grab it from her hand, letting our fingers linger together a little longer than usual for strangers. She smiles at me. And I ask her for her phone number. She replies, «Que? No hablo Englise.» Yeah, nobody here speaks English. Just kidding, that’s a lie. I’ve never even talked to this chick before, I just didn’t know how to end this really beautiful story that I just wrote for your PLEASURE of reading. Yeah, see what I did there? Dude, it’s a fucking Subway. If you’ve been to one then you’ve been to them all.

I would give this place 0 stars if there was the option. I strongly recommend that you visit the subway on Colorado blvd instead. Every single time I come in here the employees are always laughing and having a blast! This would normally be ok except for the fact that they speak Spanish to one another and then look at you at laugh. Non stop! Every time I go in! I couldn’t make this up if I wanted to. Seriously just check it out and you’ll see what I’m saying. They’re obviously trying to entertain themselves at your expense. I just have never been to a more poorly run Subway, it’s embarrassing. The only reason I’ve ever set foot in here after my initial visit is because it’s walking distance from my place. But NO MORE. I’ll get in my car and drive to another location!
Unless you enjoy people staring at you laughing all the while speaking Spanish then NEVER COME HERE. SUCKS!!!

Piece of shit Subway — they don’t honor coupons. Workers don’t speak English — no manager when shit hits the fan.

Maybe it’s because we got there for an early lunch, before the employees had time to get grumpy, but we were actually pretty surprised at how friendly the employees were here. Each and every single one greeted my wife and I as we walked in. It made a normally routine meal, into a pretty pleasant experience.

I stopped by this location today to grab a quick bite to eat before heading off to work functions.
This Subway is located in the Republic of Santa Monica and I don’t head this way often. I was pleased overall with my experience at this Subway. I tend to frequent Subway’s as much as I frequent Starbucks which tends to be a lot.
One thing I can not stand no matter the industry is trying to do something so fast that you end up doing it slow which means you screw things up and have to either start over or reflect on what just happened.
I was asked by the employee what I wanted to eat as the employee was standing behind the counter chewing gum, Strike 1.
The person who helped me had to have my order repeated and they proceeded to throw meat onto the sandwich in a hurry loading up cold cuts in one area of the sandwich. This action caused another employee to have to separate the cold cuts on the sandwich and put some back into their containers, Strike 2.
After I paid the cashier took my receipt which will be used for my expense report and threw it in the garbage before asking if I wanted it or not, Strike 3.
This place was clean, the parking is a nightmare it is Santa Monica and Cops are everywhere if you are thinking of pulling a quick U-​Turn to pull into a space, that is a BIG NO NO is Santa Monica.
Based on the 3 Strikes your out rule, I will not be coming back here.

It’s subway. So the five stars isn’t for the gourmet food but rather for the great staff and the great service you get at this specific location!
I’ve been coming to this subway for 6 years and I think some of the people have worked there that entire time! It’s kinda like the tv show Cheers… Well, they don’t actually know my name but they recognize my face and always give me great subway service!

Food was good, but the Service Was horrible. All the employees save one were rude. Ordered 4 sandwiches and 1 soup. Yet we only received one napkin. Boo!!!

This is my favorite Subway.
They are always happy and yesterday they were all wearing Santa hats, which I thought was adorable. I can’t believe how fast they are at making sandwiches! I couldn’t get my wallet out before my sandwich was done!!!
I have probably come here at least 20 times and every single time has been an amazing experience. I was VERY surprised to see an average of 3 stars for this place. I just can’t believe it.
Don’t be fooled by the long line you see when you walk in. They are extremely fast and you won’t be waiting long.
The thing I like most is the high energy and good vibe I get. Plus they have parking in the back!
