A recent transplant to Santa Fe. I am enjoying trying the food establishments in town. I had breakfast here this morning. I ordered the pancake sandwich. It was acceptable but not exceptional. The coffee was subpar & I hate trying to get butter out of those tiny foil packets. Now for the ambiance. They have an atrium room that doesn’t have a door that shuts tight. There was a large group of men in there, singing very loudly the whole time I was there. My booth was right up next to the window. It was not the atmosphere I expected or wanted. Not sure if I’ll return.

This is my 3rd trip to Santa Fe within a year. I have eaten here at least 10 times and I love the food and the service. I have a couple more times to visit before I leave. One of the highlights of my day.

Ordered breakfast. It was about 10: 45. They weren’t busy. The busser was friendly and asked for our drinks. The waiter did not take our order right away. We had to wait. He had attitude… Something I hate when you are being served. Got our breakfast. Had to ask for more coffee. The food was alright. The waffle was probably the worst part. I couldn’t finish it. It was hard and tasted like it was out of a box. Not fluffy at. all. Not once did the waiter ask how our meal was. We won’t eat there again.

Delicious Diner… Green Chile Stew was the best I’ve head this trip.

I like to try out new places when we can, so when I saw their«Voted Best Breakfast» sign from the road, well… o.k., let’s see. Nothing seemed appetizing to my fiancé so she settled for a store bought blueberry muffin, while I tried their Flying T breakfast which is eggs, potatoes, meat and bread. OM eggs were good, the carné adovada was good as well, and that’s where it ended. Instead of biscuits and gravy or toast I asked for a flour tortilla(after all, it IS the Flying Tortilla!) which came out too stiff(left on the placá too long), and their Flying T taters are, well, just chunked and hashed potatoes with no seasoning, even though they appear to look like Cracker Barrels’ hash brown casserole! I mean NO seasoning! Not even any salt or pepper? Another odd point is none of their«Everyday Faves» were Flying T faves… only the CFS and stuffed French Toast were up to that standard, I guess. So I give ‘em 3 stars,(really 2.5) for the Adovada and perfect OM eggs, but I’m just not sure. Prices seem a bit steep, but then everything around here is probably a bit more expensive. Typical diner fare food and environment. Guys, work on the potatoes; they could be SOOO much better!

This is a great breakfast spot, but be fore to get there early unless you want to wait in line. The service was excellent. The potatoes tasted like they were old– otherwise pretty good!

Stopped in on a day of exploration through town. Place was packed but our food came out fast and hot. The green chile was amazing. We ordered the Navajo taco that had tender chunks of well spices pork and the vegetarian taco that would make you doubt it’s vegetarian because it tasted fantastic.

The guacamole and chips were made fresh however lacked any distinguishing flavorings. I ordered cheese enchiladas Christmas on blue corn tortillas. The tortillas were fresh and of the right consistency. The red and green kind of ran together(should have ordered one or the other). The green was runny not having much flavor or nice pieces of green chile. The red was much better with a good solid flavor worth ordering again. The pinto beans were just ok as well as the Spanish rice. Service was efficient and courteous. The atmosphere was open and friendly.

Yuck, hadn’t been there in years, now I remember why. It’s a grease pit. No care at all was taken in making my breakfast. Omelette dripping with rancid oil, CANNED mushrooms!!! Seriously??? Microwaved biscuits — everyone knows you can’t microwave bread. My potatoes were so greasy I won’t even feed them to my dogs. Everything going in the trash. Never again.

We were staying next door at the La Quinta and decided to come here for breakfast instead of having hotel waffles. As others have reported, they were taking our drink order as we were still sitting down. That was fine with me. that means I get my coffee quicker! We both had the home fries christmas style with scrambled eggs. The portions were huge and the green chile was wonderful! The red was good, but I finished all the green! We liked this place so much that we decided to come back for breakfast again the next morning! The food was great, the service was just as good and the prices are reasonable. I would definitely come back the next time I’m in Santa Fe.

My food wasn’t earth-shattering, but it was definitely solid and tasty. I get the impression, especial from the big crowd, that most of the items on the menu are of similar persuasion, but the best available in Santa Fe, but reliably tasty all around. This is a good-value, no-frills, but clean and well-lit, diner that definitely reminds me of the types of family joints that many of us went to growing up. Although it wasn’t what comes to my mind when I think of traditional corned beef hash, the corned beef was flavorful, though salty, and the seasoned skillet potatoes with fresh green onions were tasty. The biscuits and gravy were fine.

The atmosphere here is casual. Reminds me of the family type diners I grew up with in the Midwest. This is a breakfast and lunch place. It closes at 2:30. Service was very fast and friendly with a great selection on the kids menu. This place has been recommended to us for years and now I know why. So glad we were able to finally come!

What a great find! We drove by and saw the sign«Voted Best Breakfast», checked Unilocal then headed there. We were absolutely not disappointed. My husband had a banana pancake that was delicious(yes, I tasted some) and I had the corned beef hash. I’ve never had hash like this. Big chunks of corned beef and sliced potatoes. Absolutely delicious! And the portion was a great size for a good price. Service was very good. We were barely in our seats before being asked about drinks, then the food came in a reasonably amount of time considering how busy they were on a Sunday morning. Waiter refilled coffee often, which was appreciated. Wish we could have gone back. There were so many other dishes I wanted to try.

My wife and I are in Santa Fe 6 – 8 times a year. We love dining here and have our favorites. FT has just moved to the top of our list. Love the blueberry pancakes, and corn beef hash for breakfast. Cannot wait to try the carne adovado.

Had the corned beef hash breakfast which was nothing short of amazing. Big chunks of corned beef and done perfectly. Fast service and very friendly. If you are in the area go here and get the hash, it’s that good.

Salsa is watered down and you don’t get enough, but service is decent. Can tell they are working hard and trying their best, maybe short staffed.

Good and fast service makes the dining experience pleasant. The food is fairly good New Mexican cooking. A good local crowd frequents the establishment. A worthy experience.

We showed up around eleven a.m., and the place was fairly busy. I expected a Mexican style restaurant, but it was more of a diner style. We were seated right away. The host and waitress were friendly. I ordered the frito pie, it was good. Before we were done eating more people had showed up, and we’re even waiting outside. The Flying Tortilla was good, but only averagely good.
