This place is fantastic. I actually stopped eating fast food pizza a while ago, because it always seemed too salty and overly greasy. Papa Murphy’s is making me a fan again. I particularly enjoy the thin crust. It cooks just fine in my oven. I have read some of the other reviews that said the pizza didn’t cook or the dough was raw when they took it out of the oven. Um, I’m pretty sure that it is the oven that failed and not the pizza. I’m slowly making my way through their menu, and have enjoyed everything so far.

Just received my free pizza at the grand opening in Canyon County California. The samples were superb! The owner Gerin (sp) was super nice. We will be back!

We took 2 pizzas out within a week of them opening. They were out of thin crust. I got a chicken garlic pizza and it was so loaded with toppings (I think they thought they were doing us a favor) that it would NOT COOK. It was raw inside and would not brown. It took 3 different utensils to try and get the pizza out of the paper tray and onto the oven rack. Still would not cook. Needless to say, I could not eat it. My wife had a pepperoni and she said it was just Ok, kinda greasy. I did call the shop and they took my name down to give me a free pizza at a later date. I’ll report back after I try that one.

They do taste fresh, but the fact that we still gotta take it home in one piece and bake it. It’ll be another 30 mins from the time I get home and eat it after baking for 15 mins. I got the angus steak and roasted garlic pizza. No doubt, it was delicious. It had creamy garlic sauce, the Angus steak, green onions, Parmesan, mushrooms, and roasted garlic. But even after the given heating time, my pizza was still a bit undercooked. I’m still up to try their different pizzas and their le famous cookie dough (also gotta bake it!).

The only thing bad to say is that I wish it was closer to my house! The staff was super friendly and explained all of the sizes and crust styles that I asked about even though I noticed later that all of my questions would have been answered if I just read the info on the walls. Someone even walked me out to my car with the pizza since my hands were full carrying my baby in his car seat.

I got a coupon in the mail so I decided to go give it a try. I was surprised by the fact that they sale unbaked pizzas, you take it home with instructions and bake it yourself. Anyways I decided to take it and I’m glad. My Hawaiian pizza was delicious, toppings were placed fresh and at my view, it came out of my oven crispy. We all were very please with it. We also bought a thick n cheesy home baked bread which we thought it was extremely greasy so we won’t be buying that again. We are totally going back for more pizza and definitely will be recurrent costumes. 4 stars is solely in the thick n cheese. People at the shop were also very friendly.

I went in to pay and there machine wasn’t working and wasn’t taking my credit card for some odd reason and the owner told me «your card has been declined and then he had the audacity to tell me that’s why you pay your bills

When I was living in Oregon, Papa Murphy’s was a weekly stop for me. I was happy to see them in the SCV and even happier that they are as good as I remember.
Papa Murphy’s is a take-​and-​bake shop so they do not have any ovens. They have many more options than I recall (thin, original, thick crust, and stuffed pizzas), they have generous toppings, ample sauce, and a few desert options. Give the cinnamon wheel a try!
Bottom line: Their price point is fair and their quality is excellent. There was a man ordering ahead of us who mentioned driving all the way from Palmdale, so it’s at least that good.

The ingredients are fresh and the cheese is pretty good quality. This rating is for the thin crust pizza otherwise I would have given 3 stars for the regular crust. We baked the crust until crispy. Try this place If you’re in the mood for baking your own pizza. I probably won’t be back here.

Based on the Unilocal reviews and our general curiosity, I went to Papa Murphy’s on New Year’s Day (it also helped that we had received great coupons in the mail). I had never been to a «take and bake» shop, so I was curious to see how this would compare to standard delivery chains.
The two women working behind the counter were very nice, patient and helpful. I ordered the Chicken/​bacon/​artichoke heart «gourmet» pizza, but chose the «pan» style over the flatbread. I also added sausage and olives (to accommodate everyone at home). The ingredients were fresh and plentiful — no skimping here.
The pizza baked up perfectly and was absolutely delicious! This one was far superior to anything we’ve ever had from the other chains. We definitely will be back!

I was skeptical, but everything was really good. My husband and kids all had seconds and they are picky eaters. So glad I tried it. We had Papa’s Favorite Family size and a garden salad. Nice fresh veggies!

Thank you food gods for sending us a PM pizza. This place is terrific. The pizza is superb quality, and bakes off perfectly in your own oven, right on the tray provided. You want crispy crust, no problemo — just slide the pie off the tray for a minute to crisp up. You control it.
The papa murphy app made it super easy to design and customize our pizzas, it was maybe the best Christmas Eve dinner that we have ever consumed. So many choices for crust and gourmet toppings. This is 10 steps above your dominoes or papa johns … No competition. Ingredients are crisp, fresh, and very flavorful.
Tastes great cold too!

This place is amazing!!! The pizza they make it top quality. You let them make it then you take it home and cook it in your oven it’s amazing!!! All fresh quality ingredients and even stuffed pizza! The shop owner is so nice. I will definitely be coming back
