Managers need to have a talk with the fuckin register lady. I waited at the register for 10mins with a smile patiently waiting for THAT LADY to take my order. She ignore me the whole time… finally she gave me An took my order with the BITCHY ATTITUDE! YOU ARE SO RACIST!!! because I am an Asian woman you serve me a Horchata drink in a WATER CUP. I am not a child, I can afford a large size cup! I just want my correct order and leave. I will not return to this place where I feel unwelcome because of my RACE.

Simply put: the best. Great food, great portions. The owners are great and very friendly. I haven’t come across any meal i haven’t enjoyed yet. This is our Friday night tradition!

I ate lunch here today, and found a nice juicy hair and a sticker in my food! When I brought it to their attention, I didn’t get an apology or anything comped. I didn’t expect them to fully comp my meal (maybe partial discount or cover my drink?) but they didn’t do anything except give me a can of soda which exploded in my bag shortly after. For the price and quality I’d rather go to La Paloma… Especially since my salad alone was 16 bucks and they charge for chips and salsa. Also guac lovers, be prepared for disappointment. :(

I grade Mexican restaurants on their Chili Verde. The Burruito was massive and the pork inside was very good and tender. Not only that the beer was cold and inexpensive.

This place is hella good. The horchata is the flames. Like the best i’ve ever tasted. The burritos are fire too. Yall need to try this place if you never tried it before because yall are missing out.

Finally decided to try this place again after about 6 years and will not be returning. It always looks pretty busy so I figured there was some good change.
We were the only ones in there so of course service was fast and prompt, I do give credit to the server she was very nice. But I got horchata that tasted powdery and not authentic, I decided to order the fajitas like I usually do at any Mexican restaurant come to find out when I get it it’s literally meat, peppers, cheese and tortillas doesn’t come with any rice, beans, guacamole or sour cream or anything! It was really greasy and barely any taste. The shrimp and meat tastes burnt and for $ 13.99 I expected ALOT more. Also the chips were hard and oily and needed a TON of salt because not even the salsa had flavor.
The place looks pretty run down and not very clean. Honestly not sure what all the hype is about on here, maybe the cheap beer?
Anyways, i won’t ever bother going there again so save your $$ on more legit food somewhere else.

Came in for lunch to try this place out and was not too impressed with it. The food was ok but took too long (one cook in the kitchen) to get my three tacos. The place needs a good deep cleaning, the Windows, counters, walls and kitchen area was filled with grime and grease. Don’t think I will be coming here again.

What a disappointment. The service was incredibly slow — over 20 minutes to get one burrito. The manager just stood around while the lady in back did all the work. They charge for chips/​salsa — who does that??? The restaurant is not well taken care of, chairs have rips in them, area around soda machine is dirty and the lady handled money, and then put her hands in the chips to toss them around. Too bad — it is close to home but we will not return.

Really good food and costumer service. I would come back an eat here. Also they have micheladas if you dont know what they are you should try it.

It looks kinda sketchy and hole in the wall-​y but the food is surprisingly food (and cheap!). Not the cleanest but the food makes up for it I guess. I’ve been craving legit good Mexican food (none of that Taco Bell BS) ever since I got back from Mexico and this is probably the closest ish thing I found. Portions are very generous. I really like the al pastor and carnitas tacos.

I’ve been coming here for a few years and their mixed alambrones are delicious! I can never finish the entire meal as they really pack in all the meat and double up on the tortillas. The server is very nice and the cook always greets you with a smile. Cool place when you need to get your Mexican fix.

I wasn’t such a huge fan of this spot. I ordered the pollo burrito which had more rice than anything. To be quite honest the chicken was not very rich in flavor it was sort of bland. The horchata I give them props for it was delicious. The waitress was very sweet, the only thing that sort of left me in shock & bothered was when I asked the guy in the grill area for a cup to go to put the remaining horchata & he gave me a nasty look like I was bothering him. Okay… I’m sorry it must be very difficult to take five steps to the cups. Sheez.

Worst veggie burrito ever. It was filled with rice and barely any veggies. I generally don’t waste food but I couldn’t eat even half of it.

This place has the BEST carnitas super burrito in Santa Clara, period. The burritos are massive and are actually two meals. Throw in some deep fried tortilla chips and you’ll have an outstanding lunch.
4 stars because if you go and they are very busy the wait time can be a bit long.

I was served very quickly. I got a chicken quesadilla and a side of chips for $ 10. The quesadilla was enormous. I got a side of avocado but it looks like guacamole no big deal though. The quesadilla came with a little tiny salad and some sour cream on the side. For the amount of chips they give you this should give you a little bit more salsa. Great customer service and great food

I would even venture to say the best tacos in the South Bay, but maybe I should try a few more before I say that…
Al pastor and pollo tacos are large and very tasty… great prices and good service.
The horchata is good as well although I don’t have much of a sweet tooth.

Where do I go for my late night Mexican food cravings? Las Flamas!
Their tacos are awesome — street taco style (smaller size) with a generous amount of meat. Not to mention that they are well-​priced, with most options being $ 1.85! Top taco recommendations — hawaiiano, al pastor, el pescado.
Their carne asada fries are what I come here for though. *DROOL* I used to live in San Diego and though I have yet to find a place here in Nor Cal that is equally comparable, Las Flamas whips up pretty decent carne asada fries!
The reason for only a three star review though is because service here can be slow. When I came, there was a large party in front of us and only one cook so it took about 20 minutes to get our to-​go order. Also, the lot is pretty small so parking can also be a little tough if you come during prime hours.

My order is ready in no time and let me tell you the steak ranchero that I order is so good is just perfect … Love the horchata .just wow …

It took me a while to find a place with real mexican food, something that tastes like if I was eating in Mexico city. I love this place, the taste is perfect, the portions are very good and the price is great! The only reason I took a star is because they take a loong loooong time to bring your food, then if you are in a rush I suggest to call them before and ask for your order.
Usually we don´t mind about waiting because the food is very good and the crew is very nice.

3.5 stars but the Unilocal app didn’t allow me to do half which is weird. Food was awesome. But wait time and customer service is not very good. I will recommend this for people who doesn’t mind the wait and want to eat authentic Mexican food :)).
