KFC

Standard KFC fare. Handy location, Private Parking Lot. Good Customer, service and they dont Nickel and Dime you when you ask for extra condiments. Also clean dining area.

I recently stopped by this KFC and I’ve been going there off and on for about 18 months as it is close to work and you rarely have to wait for your meal… for fast food, KFC never seems to disappoint in matters of speed! The faster I get my chicken, the longer I get to appreciate it… perfect logic!
But what makes this KFC special?
1. Francisco the Manager! He is incredibly friendly to each and every customer no matter how busy the place is! It’s also clear that he maintains these values with his team. You won’t get this kind of service at other KFC restaurants… I Unilocaled it!
2. Atmosphere. Every visit I’ve made here, the place is spotless! However, I’ve never seen anybody cleaning while I’m eating (BONUS!). Honestly, people expect some fast food places to be dirty so they just accept it, but not at this KFC. Great work!
I did have to remove 1-​Star for the slightly crowded parking and occasional limited seating during lunchtimes. However, this restaurant adds to the great combo that is this tiny plaza! Try them out!

This is a hard one for me to review because the question is, is it good compared to other KFCs and similar fast food restaurants or is it good compared to other places where I can get fried chicken?
I’ll use the latter. If we’re just looking at the quality of food, I’d give it two stars, but when you consider the great price, the overall value gives this place that extra star.
It’s a typical KFC, so why bother to review it at all?
A few reasons.
First, fried chicken at KFC is pre-​cooked and then kept under a warming lamp. This means that the busier the KFC, the more likely you are to get fresher chicken. This particular KFC is reasonable. Not terribly stale tasting, and not so crowded that it tastes particularly fresh. Especially not when compared to 99 Chicken.
Second, location. For the businesses in the area, this little strip mall is very easy to get to, and that convenience automatically makes me want to eat here once in a while. I get that urge for KFC every once in a while.
Third, side dishes. I really wanted to try the side dishes here. The mac and cheese is horribly simple and uses the powdered cheese, or so it seems. But strangely, being comfort food for me, mac and cheese in any version (home made or instant) is something I crave every once in a while and KFC doesn’t disappoint. Much like hamburger helper, as disgusting as it is, is something I get a craving for. The cole slaw has a nice lightness to offset the oily chicken, and the biscuit, though it tastes unhealthy, is just delish.
Finally, new items on the menu justify a review. The new fully loaded box set comes with two chicken strips, a regular or extra crispy chicken, and the snack sandwich, along with two sides, a biscuit and a large drink, all for a mere $ 6.75. Good value, I think. The bread in the sandwich is really dry and hard, indicating a little staleness, but the chicken strips with mustard sauce (they have other choices, as all of you know) was good.
KFC is fundamentally a love hate thing for me. I love fried chicken, but KFC is so oily that I get a little sick after eating a few pieces. I then swear off KFC for a few months, and suddenly get a craving for it again. This is exactly the same pattern I go through with McDonalds double quarter pounder with cheese.
I guess that means I’ll be coming here a couple of times a year for the rest of my life. And if I’m gonna come back here again in half a year or less, doesn’t it at least deserve three stars?

Ive noticed that there is a poster on the window that has a picture of a bunch of kids that got a scholarship from KFC the year is dated 2006. Its faded from all the sun damage.
The displays are a bit tacky here. The sized on the little containers are written in marker. I would think since its KFC they would have something typed up or a sign.
Most of the times ive gone here I usually order the family meals and the food I get is pretty fresh. And many times they’re cooking to order. The wait on getting my food isnt to bad neither. The thing about the workers is they mess around too much or dont pay attention to my order and they some what pick favorites when talking to customers. They would act more nicer to specific people. Other than that most things are pretty good.

I normally wouldn’t review some random fast food joint, but this place deserves it. The manager, Francisco ROCKS! !
Always greeting upon entering, the staff is very friendly and takes accurate overs every time.
