This place has great food! They don’t have much dining space, but they are very friendly and provide good service for their tremendous food. Somewhat remote location for some but definitely worth the drive. Enjoyed Kalua pork and ginger chicken. Something that is really unique is pineapple chunks with plum powder. Don’t take our word for it-try it yourself! You’ll be pleasantly surprised!

I’ve been here twice so far, and both times were a treat. The first time was a Saturday night about a half an hour before closing. They were so nice and insisted we stay and eat. The only thing they had left was the chicken teriyaki, but that was great. The second time I went I had the mahi mahi which was the best mahi I’ve had. Also had the coconut dream dessert that was heavenly. I’ll definitely be back!

Not Your Average Fried Rice was my menu item of choice(for lunch). It was great. I was happy to learn that the bok choy it featured was grown fresh by the owner/chef(Herb Basso). My wife and her sister got the steak plate(though my wife ordered the teriyaki chicken), which was great. Our son got some teriyaki chicken and shared with us. All the meat had a great smoked-and-sweet island flavor. My bro-in-law got a pork sandwich, which was declared the overall winner. Inside the little home setting, the atmosphere was nice, only occasionally disturbed by our own children(only one high chair in the place). If you like local, fresh, authentic food(with a few signature twists), then I probably don’t even have to finish this sentence. I am still sad I didn’t order a dessert. Next time, which there will be one.

I’ve had authentic Hawaiian food made by friends that are from Oahu. So, to say that this is authentic Hawaiian food, is a bit of a stretch. However, the food here is delicious! The hostess was also the waitress and was also bussing the tables. She was really friendly and tried so hard to keep up with everything. While she was friendly and the food was good, I am only giving 4 stars because she forgot my husband’s food and the bathroom is located outside on the side of the house… which I wasn’t comfortable letting my kids go to the bathroom by themselves. I don’t recommend for large groups because there is limited seating. This is a good place for a lunch or dinner date.

My family of three ate here at my request because I’ve had their food before and I think it’s delicious. We were the only people in the restaurant that night and were promptly waited on by a young gentleman who seemed uninterested in his job. I tried to order three different items and was told each time that they were out of that particular dish. He said that the owner was out of town, so supplies were down. If you’re out of that many things, maybe you should just close up shop. My husband also went through several menu items before finding something that was available. While waiting for our food, we got to listen to the waiter and the chef talking about us and cracking jokes behind the curtain that separates the restaurant and the kitchen. When the food did finally arrive, the portions were extremely small. My husband, who works hard all day in a physically demanding job, ended up eating a second dinner when we got home. The $ 55 bill was the insult added to the injury of that meal. I was not impressed, and will probably never eat there again.

Good customer service but too expensive for a small amount of food that was only so so.

Finally got the chance to try Kaili’s, service was fast and friendly. We ordered the Ahi Poke Salad, Char Siu Cake Noodle, and the Teri Chicken. Each dish was mouth watering-ly delicious! The char siu cake noodle I think had a sweet chili spin to it. I love sweet chili, I usually would’ve asked for hot mustard to go with cake noodle but the taste was so delicious that I found myself cleaning the plate sooner than being able to even think of asking for hot mustard. The two other dishes were equally fantastic. The pricing for each item was reasonable given the quality of each dish.

Great food and service for lunch today. Our roast pork was tender and flavorful as was the teriyaki chicken. We’ll certainly be back with more family.

Just fantastic authentic food across the board. I started with a passion pineapple local drink that was just the right amount of sweet, a salad came with the chicken teriyaki which was great, and I finished it off with a homemade cherry cheesecake that was splendid. Additionally the owner himself talk to us about Hawaii and the authenticity of the recipes, including his grandmothers ranch special recipe.

Great local eatery, with local produce used. There was a small farmers market kiddie corner and across the street where a lot of the produce is purchased. I had mixed ideas about stopping here for lunch, but was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. I ordered the teriyaki chicken lunch special and it tasted phenomenal! Super full! The food was so tasty. I was impressed it included a drink of choice(even fruit juices) with unlimited refills. All of my parties food was excellent. The service was good but seemed like everything took an extended amount of time. It was approx. 30 min wait for our food to brought out after ordering. I gave 4 stars due to dessert. Dessert was tasty but very small for the money. Not large enough to share. Overall, service and food were exceptional!

This is a cute little place, situated in a converted old pioneer home. Our family of four had high hopes of enjoying some great Hawaiian food since the reviews on Unilocal were so high. All four of us ordered the Seared Ahi special(my son wanted the Mahi Mahi but they were out of that). We figured that we couldn’t go wrong with the night’s special. The server, who was scratching her ear with a finger while taking our order, repeatedly asked my daughter if she knew they seared ahi was served rare in the middle. We assured her that our daughter knows how seared ahi is served, and she likes it that way. When our entrees arrived, all four steaks were served thoroughly cooked inside and out and were very dry. We were hungry so we ate it anyway, but when we told our server that we were disappointed with the ahi, she went in back and we heard her arguing with the manager/cook about the proper way to cook seared ahi(?!) Anyway, they comped us one desert, so I asked for the coconut desert, but they were out of that. So instead I got a piece of $ 4 cheesecake which was really small(3″ square and about ½″ thick) topped with a dollop of canned cherry pie filling – not very special. My daughter ordered the brownie desert, which she did enjoy a lot. Overall we were disappointed with both the food and the service level of this restaurant. Perhaps all the other items on the menu are good, but don’t order the seared ahi or salmon because they really don’t know how to cook it right.

Excellent pulled pork sandwich. Very tasty steak sandwich, but a few chewy spots. Would like to see a few more side choices. Very nice people managing and serving.

Our family love this place! Small local restaurant, I would recommend getting a reservation because seating is limited. we got an order of fried rice to share and we look to the plate clean. For my entrée I got the teriyaki chicken and it was delicious! We also got the Kalua pork it was very good as well. Overall everything we ordered we really liked. We will be coming back and would recommend this place to anyone, especially if you are missing Hawaii!!!

What an amazing find! I was seriously blown away by the quality of the food and the very reasonable prices. I’m not sure I can add much to the other fantastic, glowing reviews about this place, but I will say that everything that has been said about this place by others is spot on. This is high quality, delicious food at a price that won’t break your wallet. Describing this as Hawaiian food doesn’t fully capture the high-end nature of the cuisine you’ll find here. We’ve eaten here twice in the past week. Once we dined in and the other time we just ordered our meal as take out(we have a small baby and so eating in restaurants is often challenging). My wife had the teriyaki chicken cake noodles and I had the salmon cake noodles; we both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. This was the first time trying cake noodles for me. The Yakisoba noodles were cooked to perfection and, true to the name, they were formed in the shape of a flat cake-like shape seared on both sides. The salmon was perfectly cooked and was moist, tender, and succulent. The sauce and the cabbage was amazing. The coconut dream desert was divine. It reminded my wife and I of a Puerto Rican desert we like called tembleque. It has a subtle, sublime taste that is difficult to pinpoint. It’s not a heavy desert, nor is it overly sugary. It’ has a wonderful flavor and texture. Truth be told, every single order that we say going out of the kitchen to other tables made my wife and I say to each other, «We’ve got to come back here so we can try that!». Once in a while I’ll eat a place that is so good that it qualifies as being therapeutic. This is one of those places; the food I had here healed me after a long run!

This place is incredible. Hands down, I believe it’s the best food in St George. I recently moved from New York City back to Utah and my tastes for food have been refined by life in the big city and this place could hold its own in Manhattan, let alone the little town of Sant Clara Utah. It was so good, the first time we visited we came back again the same day for dinner. As for the food, the pork sandwich was really good, and the salad and dressing on the side was quite unique and tasty! But if you want to the best thing on the menu, get the cake noodles. I’ve had the pork and salmon cake noodles. Both are exceptional, but the salmon was my favorite. And don’t skip out on dessert either. The coconut dream has a subtle but delicious taste. If you want a little sweeter, stronger dessert, get the cheesecake. It’s just the right proportions of crumb crust, cheesecake, and topping. So good! Go here. It’s great. Do it now. 3. 2. 1. Now. Oh, and one last thing: the family that owns and operates the store(The Bassos) are so cool. Yet another reason to eat here. Go ahead, jut take my money

Amazing experience! Owners came out and welcomed us. A most charming atmosphere in a renovated home from the 1880s. Most of all, the food was absolutely fantastic. It truly one of the most authentic and best dining experiences I’ve had.

Good little joint in small-town America. Authentic Hawaiian food set in a home from the 1800’s. Definitely unique.
