We stopped in with the in– laws and all had a great experience! We all had our streaks on the Rock and it was fun and interesting! The sauces really add a nice touch to the already great steak.

I will start by saying that the food is very good, and once a year for the past 6 years I have brought 15 – 20 employees here during a company trip we do annually. On our last visit the waiter was actually quite good up until the end when some of my employees had questions about their charges. The waiter then became extremely rude, insisted they were correct and would not change the charges. The manager wouldn’t do anything either and we had to argue with them to even accept coupons we had from the very company we work for. After my employees left I went back in to apologize to the head manager because a couple of them complained about the waiter a lot and I wanted him to know that he was actually pretty good up until the questions came up about the charges. After saying sorry and explaining that part, his exact words were«you guys can get the f$&@ out!». I was shocked that someone in his position would behave in such a manner and use that language in front of other patrons.

I went here last summer and I absolutely loved it! I went with my friend for her birthday and it was a blast. We got a spicy cheese fondue which came with veggies, bread, tortilla chips, and apples to dip it in and we also got a peanut butter chocolate one which came with fruit, rice crispie treats, pretzels, cheesecake and marshmellows. Both were delicious and we had left overs! I have not tried to steak but I did see someone from the next table have one and it looked/smelled delicious. They also have really strong drinks! I want to take my fiancé here soon! :)

My family had dinner here last night for the first time in about 4 years. Despite the parking lot being almost completely full we got sat at our table within about 10 minutes. The waitress was wonderful! She had a fun personality and loved to talk with our son. The food was fabulous as I remembered from our past visits and my son thought the chocolate fondue was the coolest thing he had ever seen.

WOW! I mean this place was fricken phenomenal! They(or rather you) get to cook your steak on a stone slab, at your table. So it’s always cooked just the way you like it! It a pretty«dressy» environment, but I recommend wearing something casual so you can enjoy the evening. And be prepared to smell like a grill afterwards. The place seems to lack sufficient ventilation, but well worth it in the flavor of your steak. We will definitely come here again, when in town.

Great steak and love how you get to cook your own meat. Atmosphere is excellent. Love their cheese fondue. We got the California Dreaming cheese with our assortment of apples, raw broccoli, carrots and celery to dip in the cheese. I would come back again. My only complaint is make sure if you have a Dixie Direct card read the fine print. Says a free entrée with purchase of another entrée but fine print says max $ 10 so that was the kicker after we got even more expensive entrees than we would have got.

I love this place!!! I love that they bring out a hot stone for you to cook your steak on it like you want it. Perfect everytime! The steak is so tender and good! The only downside for me personally is the smoke from all the stone bothers me and I start coughing other than that everything is perfect!

I had the filet Mingon on the rock with the Rosemary mashed potatoes and amazing carrots. Ah-maz-ing!!! Seriously so good. My husband had the surf and turf, the vegetable medley and the same potatoes and carrots. We also had the California fondue. It was good, but not our favorite. It came with celery, carrots, bread, broccoli, and apples. My hubby loved the bread, I loved the apples, but the rest was meh! That’s the only reason for the 4 stars. Other than that… We loved our food! For dessert we had the cheesecake that was super light and yummy! And we had the Toffee Cake ala mode. It was really good too. We expected some toffee pieces but there weren’t any. But it was still good! Our waitress Heidi was awesome. She was fun and totally on top of things. She had to run food to a large party when we were seated but came out first to greet us and let us know she’d be right out. We loved her! We loved our food! We will go back!

Really enjoy this restaurant! Unique with great food. They always have great coupon offers as well. It’s a little loud in there — only negative I can think of.

Excellent. I had the lamb sirloin cooked on my hot rock. Great salad, great veggies. Server kid was nice and personable, but never refilled my water. If you’re going to charge a gratuity for groups, take care of the group. They supposedly have 35 amazing sauces. I got a mint jelly and another broth type sauce. I asked for a creamy tzatziki sauce or yogurt sauce. He said he had a creamy dill sauce, but when it came out, it was a very hot horse radish. I liked the sauce, but it wasn’t what I was expecting. I would still go back and try it again someday.

I LOVE having a steak here, one of my all time favorite places to eat. You literally get a raw piece of meat and get to cook each piece to your exact preference on a hot stone, it is really fun! The first bite of meat is as good as your last piece! My wife got the top sirloin, which was much better and more tender then the baseball. If I was just reviewing the steak, they would get a 5 star review, but there is much more to the experience. The salad, mashed potatoes and broccoli are decent at best. The broccoli was hard, undercooked and just plain weak sauce, especially for $ 5. The service was pretty weak as well. We had to ask for silverware, and salt and pepper. It took a really long time to get our food, which is interesting when they don’t actually have to cook your food. The steak knifes SUCKED, we could barely cut through our meat. Overall, I really enjoy getting to cook my steak, and it’s a fun a different experience. Don’t expect much from the sides or the service.

We have been in several times to eat dinner! We absolutely LOVE the cheese fondue! Some people complain about cooking their steak on a hot stone… but I love it. I am guaranteed the perfect bite every time! When they bring it out, I take the steak off the stone, cut it into bite size pieces and then start cooking it… that way every bite is perfectly medium rare! The reason for only giving 4 stars… sometimes the service is slow and it take a bit of time for them to start our fondue. Also, the crème brûlée isn’t always perfect… sometimes the sugar crust is sticky and chewy like it’s been sitting a while and sometimes it’s perfect. Otherwise, we have enjoyed our experiences with Anasazi Steakhouse!

This place was great. The food was excellent and well priced. Definitely cook your steak on the rock, it was delicious and the fondue was great too. Our server Scotty was on top of things and always checked up on us to make sure we were ok and never let our drinks go empty. Great service and great food at a great price. What more could you ask for

We found Anasazi excellent food quality for the price. And the cook-yourself-on-a-hot-stone is novel– though I’m happy I don’t have to do the stone clean up in the kitchen! The only possible negative we heard is that because almost everyone is cooking their food on their stones you leave smelling like grilled meat. What really earned five stars for me was the service we received. All of us who ordered scallop add-ons with our juicy steaks, fish and marinated portabellas were given four instead of the three shown on the menu. Drinks and rolls stayed topped off and piping fresh. Our friend, a regular, was really disappointed with the recipe changes made to the citrus salads he recommended. Not only did they switch out but the manager spoke personally with him to thank him for the feedback. My son got the THICK boneless pork chop. When it arrived on the hot stone nigh raw he was uneasy. They offered immediately to switch entrées. We helped him cook it, but I appreciate the level of care they showed. Gordon Ramsay would be pleased!

This place is the best! I went for the first time this week and I really was blown away. My sister in law had been raving about how great it was for the last year and now I know why. The cheese fondue appetizer was delish. We got the California dreaming one. The Rosemary was a little strong but not too strong I felt I couldn’t eat it. We got the one for 2 and shared it with 4 and there really was plenty. We knew we had food coming so we didn’t want to get too full. It came with a bunch of options for dipping. My favorite was the apple. I loved how they heat the fondue right at your table. You see what’s going in and it’s nice and hot. For dinner I got the top sirloin. It comes out raw. Just the sides are browned. It comes on a hot stone, and when I say hot I mean like 700 degrees. You then cut pieces off and cook it to your liking. It was seasoned perfectly. I got the garlic mashed potatoes. They were amazing! It comes with a few cooked carrots and a small salad. So much food. Everything really was delicious. Like the best food I’ve had in a long time. For dessert we got the toblerone fondue. Again they warm it at the table. It comes with lots of dipping options. We got the one for two again and split it between the 4 of us. My favorite to dip was the rice crispy treat. My sister in law asked for a straw at one point to literally drink the chocolate. Haha it was so good no one blamed her. I would not want to bring young kids here. It would make me so anxious with all of the hot surfaces. At all points during the meal there was something really hot within an arms reach. I 100% plan to come back and eat here again. It’s about a 5 hour drive from where I live so I guess I’ll have to plan a trip so I can go back.

We texted 3 different friends who were familiar with St. George the same question: Which restaurant in St. George do you recommend? All 3 replied: Anasazi. I can definitely see why they recommended Anasazi. It was a very unique and new experience. They give you the option to cook your main dish on a heated rock at your table! They also have many delicious fondue dishes that are brought to your table. Our waiter, Adam, served us promptly and was super friendly while other waiters cleared our table quickly. The restaurant fit the Anasazi Indian theme very well. I’m glad we decided to come here while we were in St. George.

I’ve been to different fondue/hotpot restaurants and the first thing I noticed was the lack of ventilation and the burner was off to the side rather than in the middle which made it complicated for ½ of the people at my table to reach over. The waiter informed me that the tables were custom made and they didn’t think about it regarding placement, that the advantage of having the burner to the side was for ease of reach for the waitress/ers. Still a very bad design. Steaks — it was just too salty and I’m the type of person that loves food that is seasoned well, but it was just overkill with the steaks. Everyone that I dined with felt the same way. French onion soup — this was bland. They could’ve added more seasoning to this. I guess I should’ve dipped my steak in it! Lol Fondue — the Gruyère fondue was very good. I like Gruyère cheese because it has a nice strong taste but it wasn’t overpowering.

Three years later, and it was back to Anasazi again for dinner before a Tuacahn Amphitheatre performance! California Dreaming Fondue with Monterey and Pepperjack Cheeses, Garlic, Rosemary, and Onion was gooey and obviously cheesy draped over speared hunks of bread. A very large bowl of French Onion Soup filled with tons of Gruyère Cheese piggy backed on the cheesy opening fondue. This was followed for me by a competently prepared House Salad with Raspberry Vinaigrette Dressing. An 8 oz. Filet was medium rare as ordered grilled in the back – but not very hot. Searing it on a hot rock for 3 to 5 seconds on each side solved that problem. It came with okay Mashed Potatoes and carrots. We finished with a delicious Chocolate Caramel Fondue. When the bill arrived, I was charged 50 cents too much for Swiss Fondue rather than California Dreaming Fondue. But because I felt that I largely caused this miscue with a last minute fondue order switch, I let the error slide. Service was efficient and attentive. XXXX-½ overall on this fine night!
