Been here 3 times this week! Love it! The owners and employees are amazingly kind and helpful. They always bring a smile to my face! They’re getting new things in each day as their business grows. And with the cheap prices they have, you can’t go wrong! :)

Great little Ethiopian grocery in a tiny strip mall. I got some split red lentils and chickpea powder(shiro) to make two of my favorite, Ethiopian dishes. They have a lot of spices and other dry goods, mostly sealed in plastic baggies. Things aren’t always labeled incredibly well, so it’s best to ask what something is if you’re not sure. Most of the rest of the store has tea sets, some candy, other random stuff. If you want to make your own Ethiopian food, this is a good place to come for the raw ingredients.

No more making my own apricot paste especially here in Cali where the apricots are abundant!

Great little Ethiopian and Middle Eastern grocery/convenience store in Santa Clara. I’ve been doing a lot of spice shopping for my cooking lately and picked up crushed cardamom, fenugreek, black cumin seeds, and split red lentils. The lady behind the counter is pretty friendly and the customers all seem to know each other. They must have thought it strange that I came in eating a cup of yogurt looking around at their spices but once they realized I was serious about buying stuff they opened up to my questions about what they had.
