Their Almond Cream Lip Balm is a lifesaver! I moved to Arizona about 2 years ago and couldn’t find anything that would keep my lips from drying out. Then someone recommended I try the Grapeseed Company and I’ve never gone back. Within a short time of using the lip balm my lips were healed and they stay well-moisturized. Now whenever I’m in Santa Barbara I stock up. Great product!

I loved the staff and customer service at The Grapeseed Company! I also work at a skincare company so not only do I know when good customer service is being performed, but I’m also pretty savvy when it comes to beauty products. Firstly, I would like to start by saying that I don’t know what the other two reviewers are talking about! It seems to me that they’re just upset because they’re under the impression that«customer service» means«let me treat you like royalty because I feel entitled to it». My visit to the store was completely different. So my experience took place on 9÷11÷15: I will say, when I first entered, it took a minute to be greeted and engaged, but they were busy getting ready for a party so I shrugged it off. I looked around the store taking in all the different products they have ranging from body care, body/home fragrance, hair care, and skincare all using fresh and local ingredients. I had a chance to test the products out to see which ones I liked and which ones weren’t for me. A personal favorite is their Rosehip Grapeseed Facial Oil which is to die for! My skin loves every drop of it. The moment my time their turned from a shopping stop to an ultimate shopping experience was when I discovered their«Scent Bar»! Basically, they have a myriad of different essential and fragrance oils and proprietary blends that you can use to customize and create your own products! Being a beauty and fragrance fanatic, I was in heaven and by my side was Cody who guided me through all the scents! Though his title states salesperson, he is much more than that: he is a fragrance guru and a master at customer service! He was patient and knowledgable about his wares. We spent almost an hour going through different fragrances and combinations. He made the whole experience fun, easy, and educational. He exposed me to a lot of things by suggesting different scents that I normally wouldn’t go for, but blended well with the fragrances that I did like. He also had fun smelling some fragrances he hadn’t tried before. It was a very interactive process that created great customer engagement and rapport. By the end of the experience, I had a slew of shampoos, body washes, and body/home fragrances that I was in love with and I left the store happy because of the great customer service. Overall, I love the concept behind The Grapeseed Company! When I talked to the owner, the passion she has for her company showed in her eyes and the way she spoke! If you’re in Santa Barbara, you have to pay them a visit and try their wonderful products and create some of your own at the Scent Bar. Lastly, Cody, if you’re reading this, please know how much I appreciated the time you took and the exceptional customer service you provided! I’m loving all my products and I’ll send you an email as soon as I run out so I can replenish! THANKYOU!

I have used the grapeseed company products for about a year now and really like them. My issue is with the customer service. A few months ago I purchased their travel size serum duo for a trip to Europe. Out of all the items I took with me, these items specifically packaged for travel leaked everywhere. They did not explode on the plane, they leaked from the top. Apparently not a very tight seal which is weird for a travel specific item. Then the pump on one of the serums broke so I went to the store. I told them about my travel experience and they said they now have new packaging. They offered me a new pump and then, finally, after I told them I’d be traveling again next week, they offered to pour the ½ bottle I had left into one of the new bottles. The owner was there and never spoke directly to me to say… I’m sorry you experienced that. She basically told me that when you take them on the plane they may leak. Really… a travel bottle! And, like I said, they leaked the entire trip into the baggie I had to put them in. Needless to say, I lost a lot of the product from the leaking. You’d think that the owner might offer to give me a replacement tiny travel size serum. No apology, no compensation, nothing. I’ve talked to the owner before and she is not the nicest person I’ve met. Living in a town like Santa Barbara, any other store owner would have been more civil than she was. I’m done with the product and will look elsewhere.
