Melodie has healing powers! Every time I see her, I leave feeling fresh and with a wealth of knowledge about how I can better care for my skin. She amazes me with the special potions she uses on my skin. I think it is incredibly special and really cool to know that she mixes and creates all of her own natural acids and skin toners. Every time she gives me a treatment, I see a noticeable difference in the softness and pigmentation in my skin.
I’ve also had a wax session with melodie, she uses the hard wax which is so much less painful than soft wax. She is a quick and efficient waxer and it makes the nerve racking experience of waxing really easy!

Melodie is amazing and really knows her stuff! I have been seeing her for a few months now and I couldn’t be happier. I was battling with my skin that insisted on acting like a teenager even though I’m in my late twenties. I couldn’t get any drugstore products to clear up my adult acne. I even ordered vitamins that claimed to clear up skin. I was getting really frustrated and depressed about it, but Melodie saved me! I’ve been using her Perfection Serum for a few months now, and it works wonders! My skin cleared up within 3 weeks, and has been nearly spotless since. I feel like it should be too good to be true. but I’m glad it’s not! So happy I finally found a product that works. It keeps my skin clear but also hydrated. It’s been so fun to receive compliments on my complexion over these past few months. THANK YOU MELODIE! I’ve also been using her Essential Hydrator, which is a great hydrating serum that can be used on the skin or hair. Love it! Also, the Vampire Facelift (collagen induction therapy) is great as well. Sounds scary but Melodie is great at explaining everything thoroughly and making you feel comfortable and at ease. The results are amazing! Overall, I highly recommend working with Melodie. She’s the best!

I have been seeing Melodie for facial hair removal by means of electrolysis for a couple months now. I have mainly been having my upper lip & areas of my chin treated. I’m about 4 treatments in & am seeing some results. Looking forward to the end product! I will say I find the upper lip very painful, I have tears in my eyes every time. Highly suggest a more effective numbing cream than is found at the drugstore, Melodie can point you in the right direction. I have also received a lip wax from Melodie & was happy with the results, although $ 15 for lip wax seemed a bit steep on the pricing.
Melodie is a real sweetheart. She has a very relaxing environment in which she treat clients, is very knowledgeable & great at explaining the specifics of the treatments, etc., I feel very comfortable with her. Although not necessarily cheap, her prices for the electrolysis seem to be in line or slightly lower with other options in town. As mentioned, pricing on waxing seems a bit high to me, although a fine experience & result.
I would highly recommend Melodie & am hoping to explore a few more of her services & products as finances permit. First things first– smooth upper lip & chin! :)

Melodie was Amazing! She was patient, gentle, steady, and kind. She really helped to make my experience less nerve racking. I had contemplated having permanent eyeliner done for years but was too nervous about the procedure. I’m so glad I choose to have it done by Melodie. She also fixed my badly tented permanent eyebrows. I am so grateful that God led me to Melodie. She is a Sweetheart and very professional. You will not be disappointed.

I have been seeing Melodie Girard since December 2013. I meet with her once a month for acne treatment. In addition to that she has been helping me treat a scar that resulted from a fall that landed me with 3 stitches above my eyebrow a few years back. The first time I met with Melodie, I was impressed by the level of knowledge she has about medical skin treatment. She is thorough and articulate when explaining why she believes specific treatments are necessary for the individual person.
MICRO: After my face is cleansed, microdermabrasion is used to exfoliate my skin. She explains that microdermabrasion is important because it removes any dead skin. This is kind of a funny thing because she uses a tool that literally sucks all the junk off of my face.
PEEL: Then, I usually get a Lactic* Peel because this particular treatment gives me good results without making my skin peel much. I have extremely sensitive skin which is why I have only done the Glycolic* Peel once. My skin took about 5 days to peel after the glycolic. I will be honest, I became impatient in the shower and washed my face a bit rigorously instead of letting the skin heal on it’s own. I also forgot to put sunscreen on my face the next day, which resulted in two small patches of skin with darker tones than the rest of my face, which were not the results I was expecting. They have long since healed and my skin is more even now. I do plan to use the glycol again in the future, but first I want to make sure that I will have a few days to let my skin heal before I need to go out and put makeup on. The TCA* Peel works great for people with ice-​pick-​scars left behind by acne. This peel is great for minimizing pore size and indented scars. In my case, I have seen a dramatic difference in the visibility of the scar above my eyebrow. Melodie explained that in order to promote collagen growth, the scar tissue needs to be penetrated using the TCA.
EXTRACT: The extraction process is huge for me especially because I have acne history in my genes and sometimes you need someone that knows what they are doing, to remove the bacteria completely in order to ensure that it won’t come back. Extractions are not the funnest, but definitely worth it.
PRODUCT: I went ahead and tried Melodie’s Perfection Serum and the Essential Hydrator. The perfection serum is great because it helps prevent bacteria from forming in my skin. It does sting a little bit when first applied, but it goes away quickly. The oils in the hydrator ensure that my face remains moisturized. It goes without saying that these products together do wonderful things for my skin. If I go one day without them my skin goes south. Thank goodness for these products.

I have been seeing Melodie for electrolysis for almost a year. I had received electrolysis in the past from other providers with little results. In the short time I have seen Melodie, I have noticed significant improvement. She is very knowledgeable and is great at explaining how/​why the treatment works. She is very professional and seems to genuinely care about her clients. Her rates are very affordable and the best I’ve found in town. I’m so thankful I found her!!!

Melodie is the only person I will allow to touch my face. I’ve struggled with acne and combination skin for some time and Melodies facials are the only ones that leave my skin feeling balanced. The only thing better than her services may be her products. I ran out of her essential hydrator recently and one week without it was brutal. Melodie has been treating me for a couple of sun spots on my face. My past experiences seeking treatment for them have not been successful. After speaking with Melodie, I came away confident that she is knowledgeable, loves what she does, and has a genuine desire to help her clients.
The appearance of my sun spots is still not where I want, but I now understand the process, am seeing gradual improvement, and am confident with Melodie’s course of action.
I have also seen her for microdermabrasion, and those treatments have been effective and relaxing experiences.

I made the mistake of getting a matching tattoo with a girl when i was 18 years old, and needed it removed. I went to see Melodie, she was very professional and now the tattoo is not even visible, its like I never got it done, Melodie used chemical peels instead of laser and it was much cheaper and more effective! Melodie has been treating me for the last couple of months and I’ve noticed a huge difference! Her treatments have really helped my self-​confidence and has saved me a lot of time on a daily basis. I have been going to Melodie for a little over a month now for electrolysis, peels and microdermabrasions. She does a great job, knows a lot about skin and produces great results. I have a dark spot on my cheek that I have treated with a peel twice and it is noticeably fading.
