This is the place I go whenever I need to get some homework done. The baristas are always nice and take the time to know your name. The drinks are made to perfection, and they are happy to remake anything you are not satisfied with. Many people come here to study and get work done. As a student I like this because it’s relatively quiet inside since everyone is working on their own things. As well, the baristas are not yelling back and forth at each other, something I have found issue with at other coffee shops. The one thing that drops a star is how crowded it is. Almost all of the tables are filled the entire time. I’ve rarely had an issue finding a spot, however, as people seem to filter in and out regularly. Overall, I would recommend!

This place literally messes up my drink every time! I’m surprised the customer service here isn’t better considering the upscale customers coming in there from Montecito.

5pm: I asked if they had decaf coffee. Sure, they said, we can brew you a fresh pot. Here I am, wide awake at 10:30pm and have been working straight through for the past 5 ½ hours. I have no proof that they gave me caffeinated, but this is not normal for me. I’m glad I’m getting work done now, but tomorrow is going to be miserable. If you aren’t going to give me decaf, just tell me so I can order something else!

Starbucks are Starbucks, ya know? This one is my SB go to though because it’s where I end my jogging rout so I literally go here every day when in SB but not because it’s necessarily special other than that. Everyone ‘s always nice though so we’re cooking with all our burners.

This location is in a great area and is kept very clean compared to other Starbucks. As a past Starbucks employee from Canada, I would say it’s actually the cleanest I’ve ever seen for how big the store actually is. It is quite busy, but never cramped, and it’s not the store’s fault for the traffic of customers it receives, so I’m not sure why there are so many bad ratings based on how«swamped» it is; also, every time I go in(mid-day) there is hardly anyone there and always a great selection of seating. On top of that, the staff and baristas and very friendly, efficient, and put in effort into their minimum wage jobs. You can tell that they’re happy to be there and never give attitude. Good job to this location for meeting all the points.

Great location! Tends to be busier than most Starbucks I usually visit, though. Opt for the ordering option on the Sbux app. A decent spot for celeb sightings, as per my wife.

I allow just enough time in the mornings to stop for a coffee. I’ve found this location to be hectic in the past, so I switched to another venue. I had a Starbucks beverage over the weekend and forgot how delicious it was… so I tried to Stop for a coffee this afternoon. It was dead, so I figured it would be a quick stop, which is what I needed to get where I was going on time. There were three staff members behind the counter, and one lady ordering. Some of my bad experience is due to the customer and her, rude, demanding order for her drink… oh look, she has an apple watch… She Proceeded to ask multiple STUPID question about ALL of the ice teas and sodas they carry as she was devoting most of her attention to the watch not paying attention to the answers she was being given. Her drink was made and delivered before she could even decide on what else she should order, and NOTONE of the other staff members asked for my order or opened the second register to keep the growing line moving. As soon as the woman was done ordering she decided she needed something else… all the while tinkering with her effing watch, I was behind her for a good five minutes as she ignored the cashier, and the other staff members ignored the other customers. She was given s total TWICE, but she couldn’t take her eyes off that God damn watch for a second to get her wallet out. Irritated and pissed off at this stupid woman and the aloof staff members, I left… with no coffee. If I was a secret shopper, this store would have gotten a terrible review. Two hours later… still no coffee… and I don’t have a break until 4. Screw you Starbucks Coast Village. You suck.

I understand how swamped the Resturant industry can get at times, I’m a server and bartender myself. I completely get that Starbucks gets crowded and the employees work very hard. However the over populated crowd, rush or in the weeds as we call it was not going on when I went into this Starbucks. I asked for a green tea iced latte and the first thing I noticed is my name on another guys cup as he left. I thought to my self, great they probably won’t remember my order now. They did remember but handed me my drink with all the green tea powder floating on top of the drink. I’ve ordered this drink probably hundreds of times and it’s never been server to me in such a sloppy manner. I experienced terrible customer service when I asked them to mix it up they simply said they can’t put milk in a blender. Clearly they didn’t understand what I was asking because I didn’t want it blended, just mixed in together. The Latino man with the goatee completely ignored me and said I’ll give you a cup to skate it in. «Old school way.» I said… Ok. Looking around as if I was on the show punked. Is this a joke? I had to mix my drink myself.. . Great customer montecito Starbucks. You get a gold star! But you don’t get my business anymore. Since I had to mix my own drink I’ll just do it at home from now on. Not at all sorry during the mixing process the drink spilt on the counter. So displeased with their lack of customer service. and attention to detail.

It took me a while to warm up to this particular Starbucks. The interior is often cramped and dim with long lines. I like the morning crowd, which is professional. Later in the day it’s filled mostly with hoards of Westmont College students… There are a few couches right outside on the patio. Parking is easily obtainable as well. This is easily the nicest Starbucks in Santa Barbara.

The local Starbucks in Montecito, located on the commercial street of Coast Village Road. My wife likes to have coffee first thing in the morning, so I’ll get into my car and drive from the Four Seasons, where we are staying and just 5 minutes away. This is a fairly large location, serving the locals. Lot’s of foot traffic, but the 6 baristas behind the counter are super efficient moving the line, with professionalism and a smile. There is a huge parking lot, so it’s really easy to get in and out!

There is good parking here! Oh, and the coffee is Starbucks. Best part about this store is the staff. Several of them know my name even though I am not a regular.

This has been one of my best starbucks experiences, and I’ve been to many starbucks. The customer service was amazing. The barista took the time to explain every single tea to me, and other baristas, who were busy working, even happily told me their favorite teas. They spelled my name correctly, which is very rare. In addition, the barista gave me the extra tea that had been made for my brew. They made my day in Santa Barbara that much better! In addition, there are many large chairs, as well as tables, indoors and outside. Gorgeous location too.

I’m not too big on rating Starbucks because there is a decent reputation for the brand and it’s locations. This Starbucks pushes the issue further because they provide a high-level of service. I’m never disappointed these employees are some of the best. The location itself is beautiful as well, plenty of room to sit since the space is large. There’s even nice outdoor seating. Easily the best Starbucks around.

Two Words: Study Spot Out of all the Starbucks in Santa Barbara, this one is my favorite! I accidentally ordered a chai latte(I meant to order a brewed chai tea), and without any hesitation they changed my order. They did not give me any attitude(unlike at SOME Starbucks location). Sometimes, there is a long line, but I find that common at most of their locations. However, I must note that they try their best to get the line moving along. This is a great study spot because there are plenty of tables. There are even comfortable chairs and tables outside. I always find parking — there is a 2 hour limit. Best service, Best Starbucks.

Despite what previous reviewers say, this is NOT located in a strip mall(there’s no mall), I would say village is more like it. The staff here at this starbucks are so cheerful, and friendly!!! They seem to really love working there, or simply drink way too much coffee. Either way, I enjoy coming here to get a coffee before shopping at Vons

The line in this store is in an interesting spot. No big deal, I just thought it was awkward. the first thing I noticed was the lobby, it was huge. I’ve never seen so many tables and seats in a Starbucks. I like it! I ordered my drink as a barista stocked the cold case. I remember saying, «excuse me» when I was loading the case and needed to get by customers but that was lost here. The barista who took my order was friendly and nice, as was the one who made my drink.

My favorite Starbucks. I’ve been coming here for over 15 years and I always enjoy this place. I guess I’ve been here so much, with so many friends, that it feels like home. It’s a great place to meet and chat. Service is always pleasant and my drinks are always right. Food is fine but I usually just have teas here. My favorite is the chai tea latte. When the weather is nice I always sit outside.

As far as Starbucks go, this one is a good one! We always stop through here after having Mollie’s for lunch on our way up to our family vacation. The service has always been very good and I don’t recall having to wait too long. It’s even better now because it’s the first Starbucks that I’ve been to that has La Boulange! Very tasty and excited to see it at more stores!
