The food is good but I got food poisoning not once but twice from here in a 2 week period. Beware, no food is good enough to experience what I felt after eating here!!!

Been here 3 times now. I just don’t get why people like this place. Food is average for 3 times the price $ 2.00 bucks for a mini bag of chips when every other place in town is unlimited and free _What is up wit dat? They are so non authentic I would rather go to Baja Fesh or Chipolte if i want to be a super gringo :)

Another Crow Canyon Plaza review! Ok, this place is about as average as it gets. Of course this is based on one visit, but it appeared my coworkers were not overly impressed either today. We went out for a late lunch today so we didn’t catch a long line. The place is very small and the area between the entrance and the exit door(the end towards the salsa bar) is very narrow. There’s only a few seats at a small table, so like others said, it’s primarily outdoor seating. One strikingly funny thing I saw was a handwritten sign right under the big menu board warning customers that they hand shred chicken bones and to be careful for errant chicken bones. Well ya can’t say you weren’t warned! Anyways I ordered my usual go-to dish when I try out a Mex place: carnitas. I got their … i forget their awkward naming convention for their burritos. i got the medium one. he said«if you want the rice, beans and cheese you can upgrade to(name of upgrade). I was like in my head«WTF, anywhere else in the Western Hemisphere, that shit is included!!!». So sheepishly i said yes because I can’t imagine a burrito w/o those things. So I got the burrito and got some salsa. The hot was not really hot and the pico de gallo was decent. Not bad. But you know, even Baja Fresh(do they have BF up here in Nor Cal?) has a way better salsa bar. Now to the food: the burrito was as bland as bland can be. Nothing special. At least the carnitas wasn’t dried out, it was actually done well. Which is why this place gets at least 2 full stars. My coworkers got a nacho beef plate, another got a burrito like mine, and one gal got a taco plate. No one raved about anything. Service gained 1 star in my book. I’m willing to give this place another go to try their tacos, but that would be the last chance this place would get to wow me. I know I’m a chino(Koreano to be exact), but hell I make better burrito than the one I had today. No joke. No pics b/c the food wasn’t worthy!

My family and I have been here previously and had no problem. But this time was different. My mom asked for something not spicy, and the cashier said it doesn’t come not spicy. So my dad asked if they can use a mild sauce and he said okay. And of course, it came out crazy spicy. It’s weird because they ordered the same thing before and it was a mild sauce and my dad loved it so much which is why they ordered it again. For some reason, it is different? I don’t even know. I ordered a small veggie burrito every time. I am honestly not wow-ed. It has hurt my stomach both times so I don’t think I will be coming back here. If it is your first time going here, just know that they only have outdoor seating.

This place is awesome! I’ve lived in SR my whole life and never thought to come here! It wasn’t until my boyfriend and I had a craving for tacos and enchiladas that I finally decided to try it. Not only is the food good, but the people are friendly and the price is very reasonable. The reason I’m writing this review today is because of one particular moment I had at their restaurant. I got there right around closing time thinking I wouldn’t be able to order any food. They ended up staying open late just for me!!! Los Panchos is a great local spot in SR. I look forward to going again and again!

So I went here for lunch, on my diet cheat day. Totally not worth it. I ordered a carne asada happy burrito. I was very disappointed, the meat was cold and the«guac» that they put on was pureed. nothing you would want to pay extra for. The tortilla was stale and pretty I pretty much tore it off the whole burrito when I ate it(waste). I asked for jalapeños which they said would be extra… since when are jalapeños charged for at a taqueria? And every other taqueria I have been to gives you a bag of chips no charge, this one on the other hand, no, on top of the pretty much $ 9.00 I paid for a mini burrito with no flavor I had to pay for a bag of chips. DONOT Recommend this place at all!

Great mexican food with good take out or eat in. This is not a fancy restaurant(patio seating only), more a take out place. Their menu is interesting with lots of authentic options along with what you would expect in mexican food. Very friendly staff. If you are looking for a good mexican restaurant you will not be disappointed at Los Panchos!

$ 13 for a burrito and regular fountain drink?! Not ever again. I wanted to go for a pastor/asada mix, but you cannot go 50⁄50 on meat or condiments. The burrito I ordered was VERY, VERY dry too. So much so that I had to get several limes to juice it up a bit. You have to pay for them separately. Customers do not get chips and salsa like at every other local Mexican restaurant on this side of the globe. Also, be very careful and be very specific about which item and size you are ordering. I was somehow upgraded to the more expensive burrito without asking for it, but did not realize that I was until after it was paid for. Better off going to Fiesta Taco or Los Pericos in my opinion.

There are very few options when it comes to Mexican food in the San Ramon/Danville area. Los Panchos is pretty awesome. I usually get the sope with chicken. The chicken has a great flavor, not dry at all. The lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, sour cream, and guacamole that are piled on top are always fresh. Indoor seating is pretty much non-existing, but that doesn’t mean they deserve any less stars. The staff has always been pleasant. All in all, a great place… and I’m not just saying that because it’s one of the only mexican food joints around. Disfrute!

The best thing they have going for them is the red enchilada sauce that they use to cover enchiladas, tamales, wet burritos, and their famous bean dip. There’s no seating inside but plenty outside on the patio so if it’s raining you need to take the food to go. The line is long at lunch but it moves pretty quickly. They asked if it was to dine in but gave all the food in Styrofoam containers. Why aren’t they using dishes instead? It’s so wasteful to make all the trash for people who aren’t taking the food to go.

I have limited data so far for Tri-Valley Mexican cuisine. I did enjoy my recent dinner takeout at Los Panchos in Crow Canyon Commons. The place has a broad menu but is really tiny — maybe best for takeout and catering. I ordered the following: Crispy Chicken Tacos — Very good! Crispy fried taco shell and loaded with shredded chicken and topped with generous amounts of cheese and lettuce. Pastor Pork Soft Taco — Shredded spicy pork double wrapped with soft warm corn tortilla. Tasty and among one of the larger tacos I’ve had. Carnitas Soft Taco — Carnitas was chunkier and seasoned, maybe a tad drier. Overall better than lots of other places. Like the Pastor taco, they really stuff their tacos well. Large Horchata — Smooth, milky sweet rice drink with a hint of cinnamon. They also offer Hibiscus and Tamarindo, but I immediately went for the Horchata since I really liked the ones we had in Cancun. Will definitely come back to try their other offerings.

Pretty decent! The menu is large and has a wide variety. When I went up to order my porch tamale, they told me they had run out of them. With that said, I then decided to order the fluatas and a drink. I opted to try the«Horchata,» a Mexican rice drink that I have never tasted. How did it taste? Wonderful! It was spicy/sweet and milky all at the same time. Very very yummy! After getting my drink, I needed to find somewhere to sit. As they only had 2 tables inside, I was forced to sit outside. Very disappointing and cold!!! Burrrrrrr When my food came, I noticed I had gotten a large portion. It tasted pretty good! The fluata tasted great dipped into the guacamole I ordered. The rice was average but the beans were a little something else. They were almost lemony? Beans=not good! The people behind the counter were nice. The younger boys were sort of awkward though… made me feel uncomfortable!

I wish I had something positive to say about Los Panchos because clearly(judging by the number of stars) people really like this place. I was actually looking forward to trying their food, the nachos in particular. First, the place is tiny, so even on a cool/cold or rainy day, there’s a good chance you’ll be sitting outdoors. Second, the young man who took my order didn’t bother to ask me if I wanted a drink and it being my first(and likely last) time visiting I wasn’t focused and after paying with a card, had to dig up change to pay for a drinks. I asked him what they had(I don’t drink soda) so he said«what’s on the fountain and this here(pointing to a bucket)». Alright, I guess I’ll figure it out myself(since the fountain isn’t within view of the register, I had to make the line a second time). The nachos consist of beans, cheese and your choice of meat if you want meat. That’s it! Nothing more. Everything else is extra. When I asked for jalapenos they didn’t explain it wasn’t fresh jalapenos or at a minimum, plain jalapenos — I was surprised when I saw carrots and onions on my dish. Finally, I don’t think any of the chips on top had cheese. It was a sad attempt at making nachos — one of the simplest American/Mexican dishes. Probably only second to quesadillas. Chips are extra of course. Lastly, I saw one of the employees/owners throwing out trash from inside the restaurant, in one of the larger outdoor bins. that’s fine, except I felt badly for the people at the table that he did that by because the garbage can was within 6 inches(I think closer, but I don’t want to sound as if I’m exaggerating) of the man’s chair. Gross! Given that Mexican food restaurants are a dime a dozen in California, I would easily bypass Los Panchose for well… almost anyplace else.

Our absolute favorite go to in San Ramon for Mexican food. Great outdoor seating in the summer, limited in the winter. We love Los Panchos for take-out, and for party food too! We once ordered traditional beef tacos for a party of 20 and I think they were gone in 10 minutes. Lots of compliments!

In comparison to other Mexican places, my super happy burrito was pretty sad(2 stars). Although the size of the burrito deserves some praise(could be two meals!), my burrito was bland. All beans and rice, barely any meat. I still ate it as I don’t like to waste food but I’d probably hit up another mexican taqueria. I’d like to come back and try the other dishes though, may change review at a later date.

I never thought I’d say this, but this was the first burrito I’ve had that my first description consisted of BLAND! Ordered a Happy burrito after being utterly confused that a Super did not have guacamole and sour cream. Carnitas were not flavorful at all; in fact they tasted and the texture of it seemed more like boiled carnitas. Ick! Yeah, I don’t think we’ll return.

We had just dropped off alterations & were looking for a quick lunch. Los Panchos is always packed w/people so we decided now was the time to finally give them a try Ordered 2 Vegetarian Chimichangas for the Mr & me &1 Vegetarian Burrito for Mom The chimichangas were sitting in a pool of oil & yes, I know they’re fried but w/so much grease still coming off the burrito well after it had left the fryer, it was just too much Added to the fact we had to pay for chips & come to find they were totally greasy as well, I couldn’t even finish the meal Their horchatas were extremely watered down & there was no discernible cinnamon, nutmeg or whatever it is that usually makes them so tasty Mom on the other hand was raving about how great her burrito was, so I was even angrier w/myself that I tried ordering something«fancy» Wanting to give them the benefit of my poor ordering choice, I went back a few days later & got their Veggie Burrito & it was incredibly bland, full of lettuce & rice but & hardly any beans or cheese I will not be coming back

They had one table indoors and the rest of the seating is outdoors. Had a salsa bar with two options. Red Salsa — Hot, Green Salsa — Medium. No Chips or Salsa unless you order it(I didn’t know this until after I ordered my food) I ordered half an order of Tamale which came with Rice and Beans. The Rice and Beans were good. The Tamale had pork meat which was a little dry, the tamale it self was a little dry. I lathered it with the red hot salsa which gave it more flavor. My friend got the crispy tacos and said they were greasy and fantastic!

If you’ve never been here, you’ve got to try it. I call my order in before I leave work and pick it up to take home. You could eat there, they have seating outside. I feel like it’s authentic Mexican(what do I know, I’m la gringa). My kids love it. Our regular order goes something like this: 1 cheese quesadilla 2 chicken tacos 1 Mini veggie burrito(that’s mine) Whenever I say: how about Los Panchos? Kids say: yeah!

Went here for a late lunch. It’s right next to PinkBerry & since I’m a regular there, I always drive pass it & always point out to my co-worker that we NEED to try this place. We finally went in & gave it a whirl. First of, there is only outdoor seating. Which personally, I LOVEEEE! It looks like they have heaters outside incase the California weather takes a turn for the«worse.» The food took a little longer than I would’ve like but whatevs. I ordered the Cheese Quesadilla, it was suuuuper greasy but I guess it is cheese. It filled me up :) I also ordered chips with Guac, pretty good. I did see that they had a Vegetarian Burrito, my co-worker ordered it & it was HUGE! lol, She got through like half of it. I’ll be back :) Maybe when I am super hungry so I can accept he Burrito challenge ;)
