Horrible! We live right down the road from them, so they are convenient. But after four, yes FOUR, experiences with their awful pizza I am done! This last time my pizza had so much sauce that it dripped off in gobs! Each time I called and complained and I’ve never gotten so much as an «oops» from the owner. The owner made the pizzas this last time, as a matter of fact. He obviously doesn’t care. And he employs college kids who don’t care, either. My advice: Order your pizza from Upper Crust or Petra instead.

steer clear unless you enjoy overpriced, cold, rubbery pizza made by greasy employees who smoke in the back door way of their work place and can’t even take the time to wipe off their tables or stock their cups and straws. most disgusting eatery in the laguna shopping center to be certain, not to mention I felt like I was going to get shot the whole time I was sitting in there

My wife and I ordered on-line for ourselves and our Daughter early on a Saturday evening. We ordered two different pasta dishes and a couple of sides. We received confirmation and expected delivery time. About an hour later we received a call form Pizza La Failure to tell us that they where completely out of all pastas. What a bunch of losers! It took you guys over an hour to figure this out. Thanks for nothing, how you keep your door open for business is a mystery.

Walked in for a couple slices at 1:15pm. Lunch time. They had 2 slices of Hawaiian and 2 slices of cheese available with one guy working… On his cell phone. I wanted pepperoni so I ordered 2 slices pep and 2 slices hawaiian for the lady. He said ok that’ll take 10 min to make for pepperoni. I then sat and waited as I watched the same guy take the next persons pick up order, took her money, then proceeded to make a brand new pepperoni pizza which by that time 10 minutes had passed AND he did NOTWASH his hands after putting his iPhone’s earbuds back in his ear and handling money! Nasty. I work in the industry and have high standards for cleanliness. So I told him before he even put the pizza in the oven… No thanks. Hey, for the price of their ‘dominos pizza’ Not worth it. Definitely will not be returning.

Very frustrated with their failure to honor my coupon. I had a coupon book that was passed out at my college, and it clearly says that the coupon book is valid until September 30th of this year. I understand the company changed its sales and is «no longer doing the BOGO» but then it is unprofessional to advertise coupons that say so if they do not have expiration dates. Management needs to plan ahead with expiration dates to not lie to customers. At the very least, it is better to appease disappointed customers and plan ahead for next time than to adamantly refuse and anger many customers. Sympathies to my other poor college allies who were counting on the coupon.

They did not honor the buy one get one pizza coupon. I have used these for years and there was no expiration date. Ordered at 6pm and it was delivered at 6:50pm, we live 400 yards away. I hope they can get there act together-will be ordering pizza from another company.

Came here while in town to visit my brother in SLO. Had a coupon for Buy 1 Large Pizza and get one free. Total came out to be $ 27.12! Are you serious? So I paid $ 24.99 for one large pizza(8 slices). Looked at the menu once I picked up the pizza and realized they actually do sell their«signature» pizzas for $ 24.99 which is an absolute rip-off. I was expecting to pay max $ 15. Places in San Diego serve bettter tasting pizza for a lot less money. The taste was equivalent to Dominos, nothing special. The coupon is basically a ploy to have the right to sell pizzas for $ 25. Overall result was low satisfaction, low rating, and extremely low chance of ever coming back.

It’s pizza. Mostly, pizza. Not spectacular pizza, but it’s good pizza. And they bring the pizza to your house! You sit & watch tv, the doorbell rings, and pizza! Nobody should whine about the service, when they bring pizza right to your front door. You could be wearing your jammies, a furry suit, or get dressed up like Darth Vader, and they would still bring you pizza. Besides, it’s pretty good pizza. Please, somebody notice that this review sets a new record for using the word«pizza». Thanks

Food was good. There was a rude guy with a New York accent standing behind the counter with the cashier chatting. Neither asked if I needed help for probably a good 5 minutes. I ordered the lunch special that comes with a salad, I asked the cashier what types of salads they had. I figured he would tell me but then he rudely points up to the menu like I am an idiot. Ok, maybe I could’ve looked but you don’t know your menu? I work in customer service and always go above and beyond for customers. I felt a little off out by the staff here. As I said before, food was good.

Super great deals and the guy behind the counter was awesome! He made sure we got the best bang for our buck. Pizza was also really good, especially the crust!

First time and my last time! I ordered two pizzas for delivery the only plus side is that they told me 45 minutes and showed up 35 minutes later… Other than that it was cold the cheese wasn’t all the way melted… all of the ingredients were definitely out of a can or previously frozen. No wonder why they started doing a buy one get one free with this quality of food I’m surprised they can even give one away for free… I will not be calling you again!

Carryout, two-medium pizzas. First was onion, green peppers, pepperoni, mushrooms, and sausage. They forgot to put the green pepper on. The second was a pepperoni, mushroom, black-olive pizza and was made correctly. $ 22.00. Pros –Buy one get one free. Cons –Terrible customer service –Poorly itemized, highly center-loaded toppings –Very poor dough handling, which lead to a soggy, greasy pizza Overall, not worth the money. Domino’s has a comparable product for less money. I really liked Pizza La Nova, they did have a great product a few years ago, but as of late, the quality has really decreased.

THEWORSTPLACEOFBUSINESSANDCUSTOMERSERVICEEVER!!! DONOTSUPPORT! My boyfriend and I wanted to get some pizza delivered so we decided to order from here since he lives near by. When we called to order we gave them the address to the main house, since he lives in an an attached studio, but asked if they could call us when they got here so they wouldn’t disturb the main owners. The RUDE employee then said that we would need to pick it up because her managers lived near the address we gave and«KNEW» there wasn’t a back house for that location. WHATAREYOUSERIOUS! We said we were not able to and repeatedly gave her the address and said he had just moved into to a back studio and that if they went to the that location we could meet them outside. She repeatedly said we were lying and would not take our order. My boyfriend asked for her name, but she wouldn’t give it, and rudely hung up on him. I am a self proclaimed foodie from LA so I expect a lot in taste and customer service. SLO isn’t exactly known for their food, I have eaten here before and this place has a mediocre menu at best… so things like this do not help the cause. I’m all about supporting local business… but this is an excuse for food, customer service, and humanity. I have never complained on Unilocal before… but this was out of pocket… how dare an employee AND manager tell a POTENTIAL customer they are lying about their place of residence and tell them they will only give the food if they pick it up because they are untrustworthy. REALLY?! REALLY?! Please do not support this place of business… maybe they will learn how to treat their customers a little better.

This was an awful experience. After ordering 2 large(BOGO) pizzas for pick up, I drove over and brought a coupon for the deal. The girl behind the register said no problem, but then did not honor the coupon, and I was charged the full price. Whatever-I was hungry. Get home and open them up, they got one pizza order wrong. The pizzas didn’t even taste all that great, just ok. If you are looking for sup-par pizza, this is your spot. I won’t be returning anytime soon.

I rarely«dis» any business but I gotta let you know what I saw today… at the local sandwich/pizza shop, I observed a young gal, making pizzas with her hair hanging down in front while she kneaded the dough. I turned to the owner and said,“Ummm, don’t you think she should use a hair net or tie it up? I don’t it’s a good idea the way she’s wearing it.” To which he replied,” ahhhh, Yeah, maybe so.” Then I told him about the last time I was in and how I watched the young man take my money and then, without washing his hands, begin to make a sandwich. ARGH! He simply nodded his head. Today was the last straw as I watched a different young man chew on his fingernails while waiting for the pizzas to come out of the oven, where he proceeded to grab them WITHHISBAREHANDS and put them in a box. Needless to say, I won’t be going back there. #buhbye #healthinspector #canyouwearglovesatleast?

Take-out, two specialty pizzas, small pesto chicken and a california veggie. The pizzas were hot, the flavors were good, and the price was ok(2 small pizzas for 19.00) The customer service was average to good, just one person in the shop making pizzas and taking orders. All in all, it was a good experience. Can’t speak to the standard pizzas or the delivery option, or even their alternative crusts. Don’t eat pizza often, but I’d try this one again

Worst experience I’ve ever had in regards to ordering a delivered pizza. Once I realized I was over charged as well I I got the MOSTTERRIBLE customer service from not only the management but the newest owner too. I couldn’t believe how rude they were! The pizza was ok for gluten free but I could have bought and cooked a frozen one with a better experience.

ATTENTION: The delivery drivers are only girls and they are always attractive :) 2 part review worth reading! Good/Bad 1– House made crust(really delicious), Very affordable, should be a single $ Large Pizza Slice(any kind) and a soda for $ 4… or 1 large 2 topping for $ 9.99… The staff are always good people. 2– This is my only complaint. Not sure why but you have to make damn sure your pizza is cooked all the way, ask them to thoroughly cook it. But you don’t want it well done. Some of the students who work there realize this and I will get perfectly cooked pizza with out asking, but if «Randy» cooks your pizza you need to tell him«Well done» or you’re getting pizza dough with toppings on top. ps. If you want to get pizza delivered make sure they have no other deliveries as they only have one driver and the poor girl is always in panic trying to get the pizza’s out on time. Otherwise you’re getting a stressed out little girl delivering your pizza 1.5 — 2 hours wait.

Over the past year or so, I’ve given them a 2nd, 3rd, and even 4th chance to disappoint me and make me sick, but no more. I kept trying them because they have a gluten-free crust and their white sauce is also gluten-free. They’re also the cheapest gluten-free option I’ve found. Unfortunately, they don’t seem to have a clue about cross-contamination and don’t even seem to make an effort to try. Aside from the gluten-free issue, their service is hit or miss, right along with their honesty and attitude. The 3rd time I ordered pizza, it took almost 2 hours to be delivered. I called a couple times and each time it was«it’s coming out of the oven now and will be there soon». The last time I called, they told me the delivery girl was having car trouble and they’d give me a free 2-liter bottle of soda. When she got there I asked… and no, she did not have car trouble, they had just made the pizzas. Delivery persons’ attitude has been about 50⁄50. Sometimes As for the pizzas themselves, they’re not bad for a 2-for-1 place. The toppings seem to be of decent quality but sparsely given. The sauce is fine. I can’t speak to the regular crusts, but the gluten-free is pretty good. It’s too bad they seem to(based on the allergic reactions) make it right on top of a mound of flour.

I’m hoping this was just a random bad experience, but this pizza has to be the worst I’ve ever had. The two specialty pizza’s I ordered are still in the boxes and may just go straight to the trash. They both appeared to have been pre-made ‘base’ pizzas with toppings thrown on top, not baked in to the pizza, cheese and sauce, the vegetables weren’t even warm and were obviously not cooked into the pizza. I don’t live far from this place and when it was delivered, there was nothing gooey about the cheese, it was already hardened over the room temperature sauce(one red, one white) The crust was not crisp at all, just soft and mushy. I called after eating a slice and was told the manager would offer a 1 topping pizza to replace the two specialty pizzas I ordered. Passed on that sorry offer. Very disappointing. I don’t even think I could fix up these gross slices by putting them in the oven. Yuck.
