Excellent delivery! We ordered a pizza on a Sunday night on a three day weekend and it was here in 25 minutes. The pizza itself was delicious. We had the three«p» pizza. Pineapple, pepperoni and pesto, which made for an excellent flavor combination on a delicious crust. Delivery guy was very patient and respectful. This place is on point.

Pretty crappy pizza. the crust was hard and the onions and peppers were cut in big squares instead of thinner, easier to chew, pieces. The meat toppings were almost non-existent. The flavor of the sauce was that of a $ 0.99 frozen pizza. But here is the worst part: we ordered one pizza without mushrooms and one with because I am allergic to mushrooms. Well, the careless cook thought it would be good to throw some mushrooms on the one without, so I had to stop eating after I found them. Shame on you, cook. There is no table service, you have to stand in line to get pizza, and another line to get beer. The staff is standing around instead of cleaning and overall, I can’t think of a reason to go back.

Great food and awesome staff. My favorite place for lunch! The pizza is that perfect amount of chewy and crispy. Trattoria quality, but with a family restaurant vibe.

LITERALLYONEOFTHEBESTPIZZAS I HAVEEVERHAD, EVER! I was staying in a hotel visiting and was hungry but didn’t feel like going out so I custom made my own pizza and I could taste the freshness of the pizza. The cheese, the chicken, and the vegetables were all so perfectly placed and cooked and the pesto was to die for! I also recommend the buffalo balls, OMG. It is like a little jalapeño popper ball of greatness!

I love village host pizza! Crispy crust on the bottom with the corn meal. I love the free garlic, onions, and bell peppers that come with the pizza. This place rally took me back to my college days at Cal Poly

Two stars because the salad bar was good– the usual toppings, but the salad itself was a nice mix of various greens which weren’t wilted. $ 3.50 for a single trip was a good deal. The pizza is another story. It had the absolute worst crust I’ve experienced outside the frozen aisle. It was stiff like thick cardboard and every bite brought forth a powerful *crunch* like I was eating pita chips. The sauce and toppings slid around on top like the crust had been par-baked at some point. It was terrifically, inexplicably awful. When rating a bad Mexican restaurant, I have what I call the ‘Taco Bell Line’: is it worse than Taco Bell? Although it’s never come up before, I’m implementing a similar protocol for pizza joints– the Frozen Aisle Line. Village Host would be crushed by the better frozen pizzas(Freschetta Brick Oven, DiGiorno Rising Crust), lose badly to the second tier(CPK, Newman’s Own) and find itself in a grim fight to the death with frozen case also-rans Red Baron & Totino’s. Just a terrible pizza, and absolutely the worst crust I’ve ever been served in a pizzeria environment. If you find yourself there with friends, stick to the salad bar.

Pizza is the standard stuff you grew up — not fancy thin crust Italian — just normal American pizza. The toppings are okay — I got the chicken in a green dress. They do a good job with getting the crust all crispy so that the toppings don’t just fall off when you pick up a slice. They are super accommodating so it’s great for groups or picky eaters. We came on a Friday night and there were plenty of tables. We ordered a large pizza and split it 3 ways — yes, 3 ways — 1⁄3 chicken in a green dress, 1⁄3 village combination without cheese, 1⁄3 vegetarian. They didn’t blink an eye — no problem. Nice! They also carry local beers in $ 10 pitchers.

Great pizza, super friendly staff, salad bar, and classic video game arcades, with a family friendly in-door dining atmosphere. Plus a beer bar. I live nearby and always order for take-out but anytime I stop in this place is full of families and spot teams celebrating or just having fun. These are the kinds of places I like for pizza, come in, hang out, order food, play games, watch TV, it feels inviting to sit down and relax rather than the Fatte’s(which I also love) show-up, pick-up and leave approach. Really kind staff, decent prices and some fun topping combos. Try pineapple and pesto. Who knew?! When friends come to town and they’ve done Woodstock’s, this’ll be the place I bring them to.

Great atmosphere(although not air conditioned so don’t go when it is hot!) with a casual family atmosphere. We like the pinball game, pizza, local beers on tap and the cheese garlic bread. Good for families but not necessarily the quietest place around so don’t got for a first date! Staff are super friendly and helpful! Of the 50 times I’ve been there, the pizza was once way too crunchy like another reviewer mentioned here, however we just took it back and they refunded us! Fantastic place!
