Excellent Service — we went in on a Friday night at 11pm and ordered carry out. We promptly got our pizza at 11:15pm, with only two guys working! Mad respect to the late night shift on Friday nights.

We love our SLO Papa John’s… Great, experience! I ordered heart shaped pizza’s and more for a special Valentine’s «love lunch» for our sons baseball team… to ensure I could feed the team I asked the manager how many slices they had, his comment was perfect he said«We don’t want to break your heart, so we don’t cut them!» He had me with that!

First time, awesome pie. Guess I now understand what all the buzz is about. Really does have fresh ingredients, minimal oil/fat. Trumps Woodstocks.

I ordered a pizza cause it said they were open until three and I got my order confirmation saying my food will be here in 30 – 40 min and it never came and I called their restraint and they were closed. So idk why it says three on here but that’s stupid. I skated all day and was looking forward to my pizza and know im hella hungry with nothing to eat. Thanks papa johns.

I am so annoyed that Papa John’s always is closed on Thursdays at midnight. I want to use CPLATE and its closed. I’m switching to Domino’s. LOSTMYBUSINESS!!!

I love this place. I did not think I’d ever become a Papa John’s fan, but apparently I am. I gave up on Dominoes a long time ago. With their poor customer service, $htty managers who basically gave up on life and weird/rude employees who don’t belong there, I was happy paying more for a pizza at a place that was nice like this. Every time I walk into the PPJ, it is super clean, bright, immaculate. Yeah, pizza crust and flour notwithstanding. I’m talking about cleanliness. The dominoes here is so grimey and disgusting. The employees are clean looking, well dressed, and professional. Always energetic, all of them GREETYOU. At Dominoes, I’d be lucky if I could make eye contact with someone. The managers at PPJ are very on top of things and accountable. Most of the time I get away with asking for an extra garlic sauce. They are really nice. The people at Dominoes never give freebies when I’ve been there and I even had one girl get sassy with me when I asked if the price of ranch cups increased(at Dominoes). So I’m glad this place is better on all accounts. Now about their pizza. They have amazing deals. I’ll give you a pro tip… take advantage of the Mon-Wed deals and Thurs-Fri deals. I think they are: 3-topping large pizzas for $ 10? At the end of your order click papa size. For $ 2 it gets bumped up to the next size. Ever compare the cost of your $ 17 extra large 1-topping pizza– with the $ 12 special offer pizza w/papa size? That’s $ 5 you just saved! That’s either tip for your driver or extra $ in your pocket. Pro tip #2. After you order online, it will be done in 12 mins. When you order take out anywhere it takes forever because of delivery to multiple houses. If you can pick it up yourself, save some money on delivery charge and tip and get it extra hot. Record time my pizza was done? 7 mins. I kid you not… they got a magic oven in there. And it was still hot. Not sitting, precooked. I’m impressed. ***Recently, they’ve been having their employees make their pizzas very thin like Dominoes. Anyone notice that recently? Like they’ve become thin as paper its annoying. So whenever I get a pizza thats nice and fluffy and actually a typical pizza thickness, I call the number and compliment them to(hopefully) discourage the Scrooge-ieness. But complimenting them in general over the phone makes their day… cuz you know, who else doesn’t have a life like me and calls pizza places? Lol, just kidding. Seriously though, 5 minutes of your day will make someone’s, anyone’s, ENTIRENIGHT. Think about it.

Holy heck, was trying to find this place difficult. Granted, I should have figured out it was in the wooden building of doom, but trying to find this place on my cell phone was a lot more complicated than it ever should have been. I was greeted by a very tall employee(I should have caught his name, but I was lasered in on priorities and that was pizza) who was accommodating and friendly. I came at a very off-time for Papa John’s, I guess? 7pm on a Friday. I thought they would be a lot more busy inside the store, but after leaving and spotting a few of their delivery cars I knew that they were getting good business. Their specials are the best part. The specials work neatly into any tight budget so definitely check that out. I mean, 2 larges for $ 10? Winner winner pizza dinner! The best part of the pizza is the dough/crust. It is heaven. It’s bringing me back from thin crust doom tenfold. I didn’t care for the rest of the pizza though. I had a pepperoni and green pepper pizza and they practically hid all of the green peppers underneath the pepperoni. Maybe it’s the Papa John’s way? I don’t know about you, but I’d like to see the crunch and not find it hiding. It was a bit. unappetizing until I realized my green peppers playing hide and seek. One thing that I did notice was a potential safety hazard. There was flour all over the ground. I’ve been to many pizza places before(Domino’s, Papa Murphy’s, to name a couple), and there has never been flour on the ground. The employee who helped me was gliding all over the place and claimed that it’s been like that all day. Cool mode of transportation, but a potential fall risk at a food place just spells ‘ehgad’.
