Delicious! Love the poppy seed salad. Bread sticks are the best. On occasion they aren’t as soft as I prefer but they gladly switched them out for me. My friend absolutely loves their spaghetti and meatballs. Says it is the best in the county and he knows, he is Italian. North Beach pizza is very tasty too.

So aggravated! They are not high on customer service. Want the half and half combination that I want and they just refuse to do it. I don’t care if they wouldn’t like how it turns out. They’re not the ones eating it! Had 3 times now they have refused to make what I want. Totally makes no sense. I’ll even pay extra just make it how I’d like, you don’t have to eat it. The pizza is good, this policy is not.

Pizza was fantastic, the service was even better. I will visit Nuccis again when I’m back in town!

Nucci’s is my favorite pizza place in SLO. I’ve only gotten takeout from here, but the pizza is by far the best I’ve ever had. It’s honestly not too expensive for how great it is, and the employees are always really friendly college students.

Great pizza, awesome salads, casual atmosphere, and a fun spot for lunch. As I write this, in February of 2016, the parking lot and building across the way is undergoing some major construction so parking is a bit scarce, but the restaurant is a haven from the dust and you don’t hear or see anything of the work outside. Fun sculptures on the walls(«industrial pizza slices»?) and a nice spot for gathering with friends. I like the raspberry salad with chicken on it(a bit extra).

Called in for an order for pickup and when I got there, there was no record of my order and I was told I probably called the Broad Street location. Didn’t have my phone at the time so when I got home and checked their website, I saw that I had called the proper number. I called them back to ask what happened and they had no idea. Extremely irritating.

The pizza is very good. I love the crust and lots of cheese. Now for the disappointment. The salads used to be great but I’m just done with trying them one more time, giving them one more chance. We get the salads at work all the time and I’ve been trying to tell myself that this is an isolated incident but it’s just not. Normally many of the greens are slimy and I end up picking out 15 or so pieces that are inedible. Tonight there was no slime but the lettuce was full of sand! Every bite made me jump like nails on a chalkboard. Not the kind of crunch I was looking for. The breadsticks are still amazing. Come on though Nuccis, take some pride in your signature salads.

This is the go to place for ordering good take out Pizza & stuff for some of the better Parties at work. The nice thing about a Party order is that you get to try 3 – 4 different Pizza’s, salads, & sandwiches all at once… and even have it delivered to you. So for under about $ 200, you can feed 1 – 2 dozen people. Despite the naysayers, Nucci’s is far better than the fast food Pizza places… but is not better than some of the best Pizza’s around(whether in the great SLO area, or NYC). Their interesting choices of salads & sandwiches is different than many Pizza places. Some of my local friends really love the Nucci’s sandwich. If you eat in the restaurant itself, it is not that impressive, but neither are the other places in this area. It is far better for you than donuts. If you are not in the mood for Pizza, you still can try the nearby Indian, Thai, BBQ, & some junk food places. Besides Nucci’s, you have to drive quite a bit to get really good Pizza(like in Pismo or Shell Beach). Downtown SLO really does not impress me Pizza-wise.

One of my favorite spots in slo. I don’t write many Unilocal reviews, but their chicken Caesar pocket sandwich is worthy of it. Soooo yummy! Their gluten free pizza is also the best GF pizza I’ve had in the area! Great spot for a quick lunch.

Hands down my favorite pizza in SLO. When I go with someone else, I always do the special — 1 medium pizza with 2 toppings and 2 salads for $ 21.95. Their mushroom and pepperoni pizza is fantastic, though I have also enjoyed the shrimp and pesto pizza. They make one of my favorite caesar salads in town, and I always make a point of ordering it when I come here. All salads come with delicious bread sticks, and the service is top notch. I have both ordered a pizza for pick up and eaten at the restaurant, and I’m always surprised at how quick and attentive the staff is. Once they forgot our order of bruschetta, which we didn’t even realize until the end of the meal, and the server gave us a complimentary gift card to cover it before we could even tell him that he forgot. Love it!

Nucci’s is our go-to lunch spot during the work week. Great prices, high quality food and it comes out very quickly. The staff is always helpful and accommodating and they have gluten free options for those who have dietary restrictions.

So good! There wasn’t anything they served that wasn’t fantastic. The only sad part is that they’re only in San Luis Obispo and I live in So Cal. I had spaghetti and meatballs and their anti pasti salad. Everything was so fresh tasting. My husband got their mustang pizza and it was the best pizza I’ve had in years. If you live up here, it’s worth it. We will be back!

For the longest time I had no idea this place existed, and I’m so glad my friend took me here! Rasberry Salad and Shrimp and Pesto Pizza are definite orders. The raspberry salad isn’t overly sweet and definitely is a well-balanced salad. It has walnuts and cheese, too. The shrimp and pesto pizza doesn’t sound that great, but it’s so good. Not overly salty, and very filling. The other pizzas are good too, but these two are my favorites. Love the staff here. They’re always so friendly and helpful. The layout is a little confusing the first time you walk in. It looks like you just order and sit down, but it’s actually a full service place. Definitely going to come back more often. One of the more affordable and better Italian places in SLO.

I got spaghetti and a salad. i specifically for extra sauce, very little pasta, and got… the reverse. It was as if they coated spaghetti with tomato sauce. The salad was fair, really nothing special. My standards for spaghetti are not through the roof, but I like a little bit(actually a lot) of meat sauce with my spaghetti, and I made that very clear. I was more than willing to pay extra for it. For the $ 20 plus that I spent,(and I am not trying to be rude at all) I could have gotten much better from the hospital cafeteria that Is near by where I live.(I have– and it is pretty good). The two stars is for the nice people who work there. They were very kind. I would go anywhere else for the spaghetti/salad. I cannot talk about their pizza.

I tried this place for the first time the other night with a friend. I ordered a personal Thai chicken pizza to go for $ 8.25. I really wanted to like it but there wasn’t much there in terms of taste. I expected a kick of sweet tanginess in the sauce, generous portions of chicken and a handful of julienned carrots and bean sprouts– like what I usually find at California Pizza Kitchen. Not the case here. There’s only a hint of nuttiness despite the peanut butter sauce. Chicken pieces are small and few. It wasn’t unpleasant tasting though. More like a buttered piece of bread than a pizza. My friend got the spaghetti, which she said was good. Might have to try that instead if I go back.

Oh my goodness. Why have I not discovered this place sooner? Let’s just put it this way: I’ve had terrible experiences with raspberry(anything citrusy) dressings and salads so plain usually tastes like eating paper to me. I raised my eyebrow when my friend wanted to order it. I was going to say heck no, but remembered that she’s been here before, is her favorite restaurant and came to visit from out of town so her decision overpowers mine. This salad changed my opinion of citrus dressings! So good. I am not the biggest fan of shrimp, except for a few dishes that I’ve had since I was little. I usually stay away from shrimp dishes. and my friend asks if I want shrimp on the pizza. HECKNO I DON’T. I’m not going to ruin a pizza like that. But then, again, she’s knows her stuff here and she’s visiting from out of town. Dang it. We order it. Goodness, it is delicious!!! The shrimp & pesto feta pizza… WOW. I was very amazed and could not stop eating. I was sharing with 3 other girls, but it was really hard to slow down and allow everyone to finish their first slice before I grabbed the second, third slice. The place is quite cozy and homey with its Italian style decorations. I will definitely be back!

Have been eating here for years. I read some reviews about the service and food lagging, but the opposite seemed true today. We had stopped coming here at lunch because they were getting kinda slow and we only get an hour. Today, service was super quick and the raspberry salad was good as ever– just the right amount of walnut and blue cheese, 4 thin apple slices. I think they’ve actually improved on the breadsticks which were hot and had just a perfect amount of crunchy parmesan. Also had a slice of pepperoni. I wouldn’t say it’s «the best», but it was good. The crust is not too doughy and the sauce doesn’t taste canned nor is there too much of it. For $ 9.50, you get a slice and a salad of your choice. Antipasto and Greek salads are also pretty good. It’s counter service and not a corporate chain.

I have ordered the same thing for years… green apple salad with blue cheese, walnuts and raspberry dressing. The dressing is amazing! Breadsticks with marinara and ranch sauce. Classic veg pizza plus spinach. I have tried several pizzas from this place and never had a bad one. I know what I like and I just go for the usual because it is so great! Casual atmosphere, good service and awesome food! Nuccis was my go to place in college and it is still around. They are doing something right!
