Very rude staff. Does not take card and when I couldn’t pay a dollar the grey haired lady gave me so much attitude. I went and got a 20 from the bank and brought it back. All she did was tell me how much trouble it was for her to give me change. Luckily I don’t live here or I would definitely give her some attitude back.

For a non-local like me, this centrally located parking garage is a dream come true. Around 11:15 a.m. on a Saturday, there were plenty of spots. The first hour is free and after a day of shopping and lunch in downtown, my total bill for parking was $ 2.25. Compared to the garages I am used to in San Francisco and the East Bay, this was a downright steal. Very convenient to downtown shopping and extremely budget friendly. If you don’t feel like hunting for parking and don’t know the area well, Marsh Street parking is your best bet.

Not a whole lot to say about this beyond it is in a great location. You walk a block from here and you’re immersed into downtown and the dozen blocks of venues in the surrounding area. Very convenient.

So glad they added on a section to this garage! Not including festival weekends, I have never had a parking problem here. Thank you SLO for making so much parking easily accessible!

This is probably the only parking stucture that i would give 5 stars too. It never fills up and is super cheap even if you stay a really long time. The people working the booths are awesome too.

Coming from San Francisco, I found parking in SLO to be a very delightful joke. This garage has a nice central downtown location, so it’s easy to just park and walk to your destination. The back/left extension of the structure and the upper floors pretty much always have plenty of parking, so finding a spot isn’t a headache. You can park nearly all day for about $ 5, which compared to the City is suuuuper cheap. I also found most of the booth attendants to be really friendly.

There is no parking problem in SLOTown, there is a walking problem with way too many drivers! The days of parking in front of the store and running in, driving another block, repeat, repeat are gone. This is a very nice place, find a free place to park just a few short blocks away and take a stroll. It will do you and the rest of us some good. Ralff sez, «And remember that the turn signals have a function, use ‘m once in awhile».

HUGE parking lot that doesn’t fill up(try the upper floors) and great rates– 1st hr free, 0.75 after that. Free on Sundays. Normally I’d just park in a lot and not think twice, but this deserves a 5-star review because of the sweet old gentleman who was manning the booth in the morning. He saw we’d stayed at the Garden Street Inn, asked how our stay was, and wished us a great weekend. Yeah, it took all of 10 seconds, but it was really nice to have such a pleasant exchange to start us on our way.
