Terrible service. I went at a quiet time, only 3 other tables filled, the waitress was quick to get our orders in and deliver our drinks. From there it all goes downhill. I ordered an appetizer, it came with our meal 30 minutes later. She never once refilled our drinks. She never brought our bill, or checked on us. I had 2 other waitstaff take care of our drinks and had to ask the hostess to get our bill. I only saw our waitress again when she quickly swept in to grab the bill. This was my 4th time giving this restaurant a chance, but the customer service is getting worse not better. The food is good, which is sad, because I will not be going back.

I love the atmosphere and the look of this place, very modern and hip. Nice place for a date, or for parties! I was here for a party of 30 and they were quite accommodating for that large of a number. Great service once you get seated too. The first time I came here and got the Jalapeño Egg Burger, I remember it being really delicious! I recently came here for that same Jalapeño Egg Burger and for some reason it was not good as that first time I had it. The bottom bun was soggy and they now place their fries in a small cup. A few months ago, I also had the fig marmalade and goat cheese burger which for someone like me, I was super excited to try because i love savory/sweet combinations paired with cheese. The bun was soggy as well and there was barely any marmalade in the burger. For both burgers, I would say I wasn’t 100% impressed but they were not terrible either. The server had mentioned their famous truffle sauce that pairs well with their fries and since I was on an anniversary dinner I went ahead and paid the extra $ 2 to try it. I would say, skip the truffle sauce and stick with ketchup. It was a little too watery for my taste and did not have much truffle flavor. Overall, I don’t really think it lives up to the hype that people give it but at the same time their food is not necessarily bad.

I could eat their Cowboy Burger with an egg and avocado on top every day! They also have good beer and although crowded most of the time(because is good) the service is fast and on point. Thanks for always fitting our party of 10 :)

First time visiting… the wait was a little long but expected for a weekend evening. Well worth the wait! Staff was very nice and checked on our table several times. Will visit again

Katie was an amazing server. The sweet potato fries are more like dessert served with honey drizzled on top! My fish tacos were a bit too fishy but then my beet salad was amazing. My friends got the burger with fig YUM! Definitely go for a burger here. The truffle fries are not my favourite but still good. P. s. If you want to sit, eat food, and drink later in the evening in SLO this is the place to do so. Everywhere else stops serving food and becomes a bar or restaurants stop serving alcohol because they are next to a bar or something?

Great spot in downtown SLO! Look out for the giant ! on Chorro Street. There’s some public lots in the area but mostly street parking. Ambience is great here. Tables are made of wood which gives it a modern look but also feels cozy. The ceilings are super high so it feels warm and airy! We were seated immediately and luckily scored for happy hour! Beers, wine, and most of the appetizers are half off or very discounted. Sunday’s they have $ 5 bloody Mary’s or mimosas! As for food, I ordered the Napa Chicken sandwich which seriously hit the spot! The chicken was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The sun dried tomato and arugula paired perfectly with the chicken. The pesto sauce gave it a great flavor as well. I think this has to be one of my favorite chicken sandwiches! The fries were just okay. I asked for extra crispy but it was blah. Also very salty for my taste. Had a taste of the bruschetta and it was okay too. The crostini was burnt a bit and there was way too much on top for the crostini to handle. When I took a bite, everything fell apart! Ate a bit of the truffle cheese fries and that was tasty! Much better than the fries that came with my sandwich. Just the right amount of truffle in the sauce! Service was good but nothing extraordinary. No complaints! Wished there was one closer to LA. I would definitely love to come here for happy hour regularly!

Eureka has some of the most perfectly burgers I have ever tasted. I ordered the Fresno Fig with goat cheese and bacon and my husband ordered the Jalapeño Egg … The meat was cooked medium rare perfectly and that coupled with the light rather than dense bun allows for you to taste all of the favors in each bite. Nothing overwhelms but rather all flavors compliment each other. We had Bloody Mary’s and the did not disappoint either. Perfectly balance and served with a slice of bacon… Perfect accompaniment to our burgers!!!

Yes, you win. With your stupid delicious burrito burger. How dare you mix two of my favorite things in this world! The staff was very friendly and knew their stuff. It was crazy busy in there but we found a nice place at the bar. The bartenders knew how to pour and even bought us a round(active military). I can honestly say that NOOTHER place in SLO has ever done that in my almost two years of being stationed there. We will return for dinner AND drinks. Eureka! is right. We struck gold finding this place on Unilocal!

Seasoning means everything, salt — life to earth… they lacked salt on my burger. I’m not the type to eat salty or add salt to my food, but food should be well seasoned and sneak into my mouth to explode the taste buds. Had a beer during happy hour where I got a free glass. They don’t pour the beer into the glass but give you a clean glass to take home with you… nice. Service was efficient enough, and dessert was worth having — bourbon pudding.

Good menu | Nice atmosphere $$ I look forward to eating here. Great beer selection. Great place for families and a group of friends. I like that they have two happy hours. I had their beet burger — YUM. The fries that come with it are so good!

After what seemed like an hour battle finding parking… I was finally able to walk into the establishment and immediately noticed how much the ambiance reminded me of The Table in San Jose(SF Bay Area.) The service was spotty but the food was DEEEE-LICIOUS. I was not that hungry so I got the Eureka! Wings, my boyfriend got the Fresno Fig Burger(or something of that sort), and we shared the Truffle Fries. Every item was SPOTON. The truffle fries had that delicious truffle cheese flavor. Oh man. My mouth is watering now. My boyfriend substituted his fries that came with his burger with apple cinnamon sweet potato fries, which were sweet potato fries coated in some kind of diabetes-inducing syrup. All bad(for my health), but SOGOOD. In my head, I was imagining a bunch of mini churros… which also sounds good. Highly recommend the beer sampler flight for $ 9.

What can I say? I love burgers! I mean, who doesn’t really(besides vegetarians and vegans)? No one! If someone says they don’t like burgers(and they’re not a vegetarian or a vegan), they’re lying to you! Maybe. Anyways, back to burgers… Bone marrow, yes please! Jalapeño Egg Burger, wondrous! The Bison Burger is nice and juicy… All of them save one are amazing. That one is… You guessed it, the Cowboy Burger. If you want a generic hamburger with an onion ring and some BBQ sauce, save your money and go to Carl’s Jr. Their appetizers are pretty tasty as well… Get the chicken wings un-sauced so you can dip at your leisure and maintain nicely crisp wings. The osso buco riblets, truffle cheese fries, corn dog bites, nachos are all excellent. Fish? You wouldn’t go to a sushi restaurant and order the teriyaki chicken, would you? Would you(the correct answer is ‘no’)? Honestly, I haven’t tried the fish. But first hand reports from others(at least from the fish tacos) have steered me away from them. No one says they were bad, but no one said they were good either… So… Burgers, it is!

Eureka! was surprisingly delicious. The onion rings were amazing. The burgers were great. The drinks were interesting and unique. The service is peppy and fast. I really enjoyed my visit here and I can’t wait for one to open in the Bay Area.

Love this place. The atmosphere is fun, our waitress Mariah was really good, and my friends and I had a great time. Moscow mules here are really good. Also– the truffle cheese fries were so delicious, especially dipped in the sauce. And the butterscotch rum pudding– heaven! The only thing I didn’t like and cost this place 1 star because it was just way too gross for me– the Alfredo Mac and cheese. I’m a huge lover of Alfredo sauce and Mac n cheese but this was just nasty. It comes in a cute presentation, but to me there was an overbearing amount of really rich, thick, kind of sour sauce. If I’m ever in the SLO area again, I would def come back to this place because I loved everything else about it, but I will never order that again.

First time in downtown SLO! Came out to SoCal for some fun in the sun and some dunebuggying out in Pismo beach! Took me four hours to get to SLO coming from the Bay Area. Since I arrived into town late, my dinner choices were limited. I decided to walk downtown in hopes of finding a place that was open. The downtown area was infested with drunken college kids, but hey, I was there once. Most places were only serving alcoholic beverages, so I started looking up local fast food spots(which I rarely eat) because I was on the verge of getting hangry! I turned the corner, and Eureka! A place that was open! My appetite immediately intensified! Eureka! serves American food, and has an full bar. The crowd was nice, not too rowdy. I started off with a Moscow Mule and Macaroni Alfredo appetizer, which were just average. I then ordered chicken tacos and my partner ordered the original Eureka! burger. I thought tacos could use more seasoning, but my appetite settled for them. The burger on the other hand was super good! The meat was juicy and the flavor was definitely there! Overall, Eureka! was pretty good and I wouldn’t mind coming back to try something else off of the menu! Thank you Eureka! staff!

My friend wasn’t kidding when he said it was the best burger place he’s ever been to. Rundown: — I came to this restaurant earlier this week with one of my friends. I was visiting Slo and this was one of the main places he wanted to take me to. — The restaurant is hip, edgy, and classy all at the same time. — We didn’t have to wait too long for our table considering that it was prime dinner time — Our waitress was super nice, friendly, and informative — I ordered the Pearl Street Blues Burger which was super yummy and my friend and I shared onion rings and truffle fries. — The pearl Street burger was so good! I think our waiter mixed up how my friend wanted our burgers cooked but its alright. It was still amazing.(Tip: Add some truffle fries sauce to your burger). — The truffle fries are equal level to umami burger’s truffle fries. So good! — The onion rings were cooked perfectly! I was honestly so amazed. It was so tender inside without being too greasy or overcooked. Definitely recommend this place! Apparently theres one of these in Socal too so I’ll be here when I can!

Eureka, eureka… words cannot express how much my boyfriend and I love coming to eat here… whether it was a stressful day, a special occasion, or even just to chill, eureka is THE place to go! I’ve had their mouthgasmic truffle fries for awhile now and I love how much cheaper they are during happy hour! I’m in love with their sweet potato fries… they are probably one of the best and most addicting sweet potato fries I’ve ever had. Never did I think honey and sweet potatoes would go so well together. Their burgers are just as awesome! I’ve tried the napa, fresno fig, and bone marrow. Napa was okay and tasted very normal, fresno fig was AMAZING with a combo of salty and sweet, bone marrow was also CRAZYGOOD with the bone marrow aoili spread… i went to heaven eating the fresno fig and bone marrow Although this place is a little pricy and can get busy a lot, it’s a great restaurant in slo! If there is a lot of people and you put your name on the list for seats, they keep your number so they can text you when you should come… that way you can explore dwtn instead of just sitting outside to wait! The only thing I wasn’t so fond of was the mac and cheese. The portion was very small for the price and the taste was not that great. Other than this, try the burgers/sweet potato fries/truffle fries/hard cider during happy hour!

Went to Eureka! with my wife and was meeting friends there for dinner. We sat at the bar to wait for them. She ordered a beer and I didn’t want any drinks, but the bartender was kind enough to offer me water or soda or any other drinks. I thought that was very nice of him to do. Our friends got there and we sat at our table. The waiter was very helpful and polite. I ordered the tortilla burger with no tomatoes and instead of a tortilla wrap, just a regular bun. He did not fail to deliver! I forgot it came with regular raw onions and asked him if I could get grilled onions. Not even a minute later he came with a plate full of grilled onions! Yum yum. The burger was delicious as usual. Overall experience was great. Definitely recommend if your looking for a gourmet burger. Signing off, Bretzlaf

My husband and I were meeting friends for dinner. We got there a little early so we sat at the bar. I ordered a hoppy poppy ipa, which was a little expensive($ 7.56) but it is a speciality beer. I think the average price for a beer is $ 5-$ 6 which is pretty standard. The bar service was quick and friendly. When my friends arrived we were seated pretty quickly. Eureka is definitely a great place for burgers! I’ve been here quite a few times and usually get the pearl street blues burger, which I love, but this time I wanted something different so I tried the Fresno fig burger. The fig burger was even more delicious! It was a great combo of spicy, sweet, and savory. The service was pretty quick and the server was very knowledgable about the menu(I don’t eat dairy) and if he didn’t know something he went and asked the chef. Bottom line: great food, great service, great beer.
