great shop. the sales staff really knows what they are doing. its a smaller store with a slower pace so i always feel like they are willing to walk me through my questions and solve any problems i might have. i know John and Jeff personally and i definitely recommend them to anyone looking for great customer service in a verizon store.

As a note, I’ve read some of the other reviews here and am not sure that people are talking about the same place. Make sure you are reviewing AVC (Audio Visual Concepts, Authorized Dealers of Verizon Wireless) and NOT the Verizon Wireless store, or the AT&T store. That being said, I stumbled upon AVC on Marsh Street by accident on April 3. I had been wanting to consider the Samsung Galaxy but every time I had been in a Verizon store, there was a wait. I walked right in and was helped by Jeff Gilmour. He bent over backwards seeing that I got what I wanted in a phone and a service plan. I walked out with an HTC One M8 and am quite happy with it. The only thing that prevents me from giving it five stars is that I went back today for some questions, and they were locked up, although the days/​hours on their door said that they should be open. However, small businesses being what they are, if you get the flu, this can happen. I just suggest calling first. I guess I got lucky.

Just purchased my GOLD iPhone 5s today! John made my transition to the new phone and new system so simple! He transferred all of my pics, text and contacts in just a few minutes so that I would be up and running upon leaving the store. He showed me the new features and set up the thumb print feature for me. He also installed my screen saver and case. John is knowledgeable and professional.
AVC Verizon is also selling my old iPhone 4s for me!
I recommend AVC Verizon to any one in San Luis Obispo county!

This store not only has everything you need for your cellular needs, but also has the friendliest staff I have encountered in SLO. Jeff has helped myself and my kids out on numerous occasions, and has gone above and beyond the call of duty in solving any issues we may have. Being a 5 cell phone family, we have had our share of needs. Jeff has always proven to be inviting and professional, and we consistently leave satisfied. A HUGE thank you to AVC for providing excellent service!!!

I stopped by this store while on vacation and was helped by Mike, the manager and he was awesome! He was so attentive and wanted to make sure I got the phone that was right for me! I would definitely recommend!
